About the Boba discussion. On the latest episode of ”The Nordic Takedown” SWU podcast we had a discussion about Boba. Well worth a listen. In short, my claim is that Boba isn’t overpowered, but he is good. And the reason we see him so much is because it has become like a self fulfilling prophecy. Good players see Boba winning so they start playing boba and win. Rinse and repeat.
I really like Jetpack in yellow Rey. Helps your buffed ground units get more value and be even stickier against sabine and is smuggleable so you dont feel bad if you get one and dont need it at the time. At least thats what ive found in my testing.
haven't finished the video yet, but feels like this might be better with Luke's saber instead of the jedi lightsaber? do you really need the +2 health on all these units with such big booties? feels like the -1 cost plus the occasional synergy with Luke might just be better? I've generally preferred it in my Rey decks like this (esp because you're rarely playing it on a force unit)
@@Direksone still, Luke's saber does that on Kanan too... the reason I like it better is just that it's less of a blowout if they do deal with the unit to have spent 2 on the upgrade than 3... and if you do get to put it on Luke unit it generally ends the game
@@Kestral2040 Yes, but with Jedi you also take less damage in return. Both are fine upgrades, but in both scenarios you have to know when to use it. I have just 1 in my Rey deck and perhaps its more a sideboard card you can slot in vs. decks that dont run much upgrade removal (but with Boba's Armor that can be rare). In my experience you rarely equip anything on Luke since they tend to deal with him rather quickly. He is a threat regardless that has to be dealt with and if you are voltronning him its really a win more scenario imo.
Agreed, Gideon yellow is awesome! People don't see it comming

Don’t forget to heal when Rey attacks!

Jedi Lightsaber allows you to deal with chonky leaders like Boba when you throw it on Yoda or Kanan
