The mayflash stick is honestly hard to play with since it’s impossible to tilts, would love to one day see you use a smash box though, those actually let you play the game as fully intended
The Boxx, smashbox and frame1 are all different brands of all-button fightsticks made specifically for smash. They all work on GameCube, switch and pc so you can use to them for melee (OG + slippy) or ultimate. They are all also quite pricey ($200 give or take) and usually sold out (I was thinking of trying one not long back but no such luck yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Here’s why I think you struggled so much with Pyra and Mythra: You’re playing them backwards. You’re using Pyra to rack up damage when you should be using Mythra, and using Mythra to finish despite Pyra’s attacks having much, much stronger knockback. Think of it like Joker and Arsine, except instead of strong attacks being on a meter, you can switch to them whenever you want/need. Mythra (white) is VERY fast, with strong combo options and mixups, and is GREAT for racking up damage. Hard to detail the combos here due to the amount of options, but fthrow is a good place to start with a lot of them. dair comes out quickly, paired with accurate short hops it can be devastating. Side B is good against melee-only characters but is easily shut down by projectile users. Pyra (red) uses strong, but MUCH slower attacks. She’s much better for finishing, her fsmash has potential to kill as low as 65% (maybe lower) and her sideb is excellent for denying ledge grabs and recovering, but it leaves you vulnerable. Her best out of shield option is dsmash in my testing. Seems to come out the fastest and can punish both sides of her. Their greatest weakness is recovery. All of their recovery options are easily exploitable. Hope this helps in the future!
It amuses me that the slime controller has, every time it's appeared, been "surprisingly good"...surely by now the surprise factor's worn off? It's just a decent controller apparently.

I'm pretty sure Hopcats and Little Z's are GameCube controllers based on smash bros for the 3ds, same thing with Cogger. Poppt one uses a pro controller but I'm not sure what controls he has

I remember a video where LittleZ, Hop, and him each took one stock in online battles with Zack's GameCube controller and Poppt was complaining about not knowing what some of the buttons did. Could be they all have their own custom layouts as well though.

3:07 @Little Z those buttons are macros, they will do whatever you assign them. They essentially replace any of the face buttons you have (ABXY) or even stick clicks (LS or RS). Mostly helpful in FPS games but I've found with the PS4 back button attachment that I also use dpad directions for other games like Uncharted and Kingdom Hearts. Up to you on if you use them and what you use them for.
To be fair, that last controller was not made for games that use analog sticks. It was made for emulation on the go, so stuff like a SNES emulator on your phone so you don't need to use touchscreen buttons to play Super Mario World.

I just wanted to say that the Mayflash stick and fight sticks in general don't suck. Because they have 8 directional inputs, they're great for traditional fighting games and other 2D games from arcades. Smash just requires a stick with 360° of movement and tilt.
As a Guilty Gear and Street Fighter player, it was a lot of fun to watch you having so much trouble with the fightstick x) Wich is obviously very mediocre for smash

I feel like this was my video suggestion, when he made a community post for video ideas, this was pretty much exactly what I suggested, but that comment didn't get any attention, maybe he saw it anyways. It was: "I had this idea for a video, where you basically play controller gun game, and by that, I mean start out with a game cube controller, and play until you win, then once you win, you downgrade to something like a pro controller, then to two joycons, then one joycon, eventually ending when you can win a game with your drum set or something similarly stupid"
I’ve never had joy con drift ever with our joy cons, yet I’ve had the lights and sync button go out on one, an r stick button go out on another, and a few random disconnections. Another thing is me and my brothers have used them for like 3 yrs now. The best way to avoid drift, is to use a different controller when possible.
