That "Snake wyvern" is most likely a leviathan, in the cutscene when the Doshaguma tosses it at the hunter, you can clearly see it has 2 pairs of limbs, front and back and its body shape is that of something like Mizu or Almudron.
Over 2k hours in MHW:I, over 500 hours in sunbreak and counting... still am excited for Wilds; I can't wait! I'll miss having my late dog with me, even if the Seikret looks really good I trust the monster hunter devs, but I'm a bit scared of how the microtransactions will look, specially after rise.
I am completely sure there will be more, but, if you know who and how the director of this game is, i dont think it will be as invasive as other games.
When you said "after the excruciating 5 months of waiting for anythint new about wilds" i was like "ppsshhh it hasnt been 5 months yet! Maybe 1 or 2.." and then i go check the date and then i say "oh."
it will be such a suprise if they also include lagiacrus in the summer game fest as a way to say "yes, we finally able to make legiacrus work in this game"
That's my concern too, because if you look at how the weapons fold when put them in the mount's pouch, and how slimmer the GS this time that there are people mistaken it to a LS in the reveal trailer
@@0wonder You could argue the rarity of a unique weapons appearance that also requires effort to obtain makes it all that more special. but each to their own.
Imagine there is actually a balance to maintain. If a tigrex is eating all the herbivores then they could leave the area until tigrex is culled. Adversely too many herbivores removes plant life and increase arid landscapes which has its own side effects or benefits.
I have a theory. The "snake wyvern" is a great/adult version of the long little crocodile looking creature at 7:32 (and other places in the video) Reason why i say this, is because they look kinda simular body wise. The both have a long body, have some of that overlapping/extending skin/scales on the sides of the body, they have 4 feet that look kinda simular. And for me it would make kind of sense that there would be a great/adult version of the lil croc. Plus if you pause at the right time, you can see the shape of the head. The head has a kind of sharp nose or something like that, kinda like Chameleos. And it would really fit a new monster.
They need to add a redwoods or sequoia map that has frequent wildfires. That would be such a unique locale to see in a game since the redwoods would survive but all the shrubs would be burnt to ash. It would be a little jarring to go back to the green state but, maybe its a more gradual change back. Also, they could put some geysers on the map, while I don't think geysers and redwoods are in the same places on Earth, it could definitely fit the vibe.
I just hope the wounding isn't too strong or they keep counting damage towards the next wound state when it's full. Otherwise you get into a situation where if you haven't triggered the bonus damage yet you're wasting DPS. Just like when your tenderize expires. What I'm saying is, if triggering the wound damage is urgent enough, then it could be just as bad as tenderizing.
How long is it going to be until there is a open world monster hunter? Maybe this can be a chance for another developer to make a similar type of game.
I thought there was a heavy chance at this one being Open but I can see pros and cons to that. I think an in-between of huge zones but still some instancing will be great, personally!
@@Velocadapter still looking forward to the game. Yeah I hope the zones are huge too. Put the hunt back in monster hunter. You could say MGSV is just two huge zones.
I will eventually make a video talking about that topic more in depth, but to summarise it here, it is an interesting idea that can easy go off rails if poorly implemented. Difficulty is only a positive if it doesn't put the player in detrimental situations that they cannot control or alter. Having more than 2 monsters at once can work if Capcom gives us tools to deal with the situation accordingly without trivialising the 1v1 encounters as a result, if they manage to do that, then it's a complete home run, otherwise it can hurt the game to an extent, we need to wait and see how wilds works in more detail to get a more conclusive perspective on it tho
@@XZaguer ok good to know I am not the only one worried about that, maybe they'll give more movement to the hunter(like the mount for example), or maybe only some big monsters go on packs , and others go solo , or maybe theyll have an attack pattern that wouldn't overwhelm the hunter that much (but that wouldn't make a lot of sense) , or the other chance that they will give the hunter gadgets to deal with it , like big traps, or like the rocket in the bow gun seen in the trailer , but well those are just some ideas , have a Good day
