Y'know. A thought strikes me, which is completely unrelated. I think a large part of wanting AI dinos is, frankly, because the game world just feels... empty. Lifeless. Even if you can find a mass of people somewhere, it only manages to feel stiff and artificial at best. With AI dinos, we have a better chance of seeing the more natural behaviors of those dinosaurs rather than being forced into unofficial servers to roleplay them out to varying degrees of success (and that also depends on the moderators DEFINITION of natural behaviors too...). What made me realize this? Watching the cinematics during the video finally pieced it together for me. The huge flocks of pterosaurs that wouldn't be possible in game. The herd of pachys munching on coconuts. Etc.
I presonally think that allo should have been added at the same time as stego or stego getting added later cause stego is just miles above seeing it finally get some comp is so nice

Allosaurus is one of my favorite dino in general and it will be interesting to see what Allo can do with the new mechanics, mutations. Everything at this point is better than the Legacy who can turn faster and hit the tail. The balance is for a survival game is a hard task because the different sizes, different biomes and abilities makes it hard to do balance. All animals different enough to get their own way to play. Against T-rex maybe Giga, Acro, Spino, Trike, Anky, Stego and Deino have chances but there are other creatures what can have chances if they do balance it against Rex. If no animal can do a one hit kill on a certain size of animal then there would be more good fights and options to flee or charge. Still my favorite ones are either small tier animals or non playables and I hope some will be playable. The gameplay I do like is run fast, be agile and trick the opponent and not using strength only.
Over all I’m excited for Allo. I’m most worried cerato will be unable to escape or fight them in evrima considering cerato has trouble against carno and is slower than teno.
Well just hearing that Allo is gonna be added to evrima. Its diffinately gonna make me return to the isle evrima. Ive always did enjoyed playing as Allo in legacy as it was fun to play as allo especially when hunting smaller and medium prey
I really hope that allo can’t kill cera as easily as it’s shown in the concept art. I think that allo should have the upper hand but I would love to see 2 ceras drive an allo out of a body or even fighting them.
judging by the devblog today we wont see allo before maia and rex they seem to be the furthest along and as for trike it still seems to have a lot of work to be done seen as how they will be using dibble to test rexs sparring
I hope they add more herbivores honestly, I feel like the balance of carnivores vs herbivores is a little unbalanced. I’m looking forward to seeing Maia, Kentro, Anky, etc. or even the smaller herbivores ones they are planning, too.
I love Legacy! I said I'd switch over when Allo or Cera comes out. I still haven't yet just due to all the problems that I've heard Evrima is having... Though, Allo coming on the scene now is making it REALLY tempting for me to make the move!
Honestly you should just try evrima, theres not really any downsides to trying something new. Evrima is a lot more fun than legacy for a lot of people but it’s always good to see for yourself.
@josegilvano356 I've been close to pulling the trigger... I'm a big fan of Cera... Do you think that the current graphics/animations are "set"? I know it's petty; but, I can't get past the cringe I feel every time I see the dinos "SKID" to a stop no matter how fast they were or were not going. It's odd how something so irrelevant and unimportant can throw me off so much! I was fully expecting (and looking forward to) the dinos occupying "space" in the game to where one dino can't run THROUGH another. Didn't the devs say they were going to implement that way-back-when? Have many of the glitches and bugs that I've heard about in vids been fixed or addressed? I love Legacy and I don't want to move over until I know I'm gonna want to stay in Evrima. It's going to happen eventually...
While I am excited for Allo, considering the significant nerf to Cerato weight (2.250kg -> 1300kg) compared to legacy, Cerato may become a completely unviable playable. Why, as an allo, hunt dangerous herbivores when you can hunt a literal potato that can’t kill you or run away. Allo is faster, will definitely deal more damage and bleed, will absolutely have more health + the pounce to pin mechanic. Cerato is fucked as a playable. Even more fucked when other large non-apex carnivores come in.
I’m hoping allo gets added with Diablo and the mutation system because full grown diablos and stegos are gonna rule over the land with no competition by carnivores
Well if Allo truly is the secret dino we were all waiting on, hopefully it's a weight class will suffice to brawl and hunt Diablo and Stego semi-efficiently.
pot actually lags way more for me and the rubber banding there is crazy. The isle doesn’t lag even when I join a high ping server. I feel like the only time I can have fun in pot is when I go to crater
I'd say the same things whenever a new player would ask me which dino they should pick. First of all, I'd tell them to pick whichever dino appeals to them and just have FUN. If they wanted a dino to learn the basics of gameplay then I'd tell them to go with Allo. It's a "jack of all trades". It's GOOD at everything without being the BEST or WORST at anything. Allo is as "middle of the road" as any dino in this game gets.
I'd thought that it would've been novel if the devs had different selections of dinos according to which time period you wanted to play (Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous). Perhaps the dinos in the Jurassic could also be in the other two periods only as slightly smaller and weaker versions to accommodate the idea of their earliest beginnings in the Triassic and their dying-off in the Cretaceous. Maybe smaller and weaker versions of the Triassic and Cretaceous dinos in the Jurassic as well...? The landscapes would also need to vary between the time periods in terms of foliage and water supply. Yeah...I'd play that!
Literally just wish it wasn't unreal engine 5. I haven't been able to play since the update and haven't had the funds to upgrade then my hard rive died and I out the toaster up. I'm genuinely sad I loved this game and the friends I made. I've lost touch with them and I'm even more sad. Glad I can still be apart of the community from afar with your videos and see what the devs are gunna do for the day I finally can join everyone again in the isle
Regardless, how I feel overall about the isle itself I think the new teaser for Allosaurus is pretty interesting and I like it, but yeah you're video was really good as always and hope you're having a good day
if the devs of the isle want me to play that game, adding allo would be a very tempting start. i need more playables. rn it feels so out of your way to hunt anyone cuz you all have different roles to be playing in the enviornment. and standing up/sitting down shouldnt take stam lol legacy feels waaaay better to play
I think these dino games miss any opportunity of making the game more balanced when trying to put dinos from different time periods together. The ecological relationship network among dinos vary greatly across the triassic, jurassic and cretaceous. If they would make servers around geological formations it would favor gameplay balance I imagine.
It’s in the hordetest, you right click the isle, go to properties, then betas and switch to the hordetest, although I don’t recommend it because of the absurd lag there is, dinosaurs literally teleporting everywhere, getting hit from three kilometers away, you know, lag shenanigans
@@tycalas2391 Ceratosaurus easily defeats Carno 2v1, so for balance I would say that Allosaurus should have a chance against 2 ceratosaurs and should have problems against 3.
There shouldn't really be anything other than trike or rex, that can compete with trike or rex... (until other big dinos come along). Not sure why people think it will ruin balance, you just make rex and trike slower than most others and they are a non threat to them.
Dondis excuses for why he can’t push an update out of his teams ass more than once every two years is getting old. I picked up path of titans recently and it’s a blast. Def less realistic, even on realism community servers, but at least new stuff comes out frequently. I’d recommend everyone to pick up one of these other games for when there’s a content drought, they aren’t too different and much more functional than TI is sometimes.

Well just hearing that Allo is gonna be added to evrima. Its diffinately gonna make me return to the isle evrima. Ive always did enjoyed playing as Allo in legacy as it was fun to play as allo especially when hunting smaller and medium prey
I am so looking forward to playing as this Dino again.
“Very soon”
it is my preferite dinosaur so yeah, i am excited to see him again finally.
Envirma needs to do something about stamina... no one even plays herbis anymore because they are just sitting ducks once they are outta stam.
@@dtbrex08 I've been WANTING to; but, every time I decide I will I seem to hear other players painting it as a nightmare! Then I hold off...again.
@@Star-qc4br just do it the graphics are insane and compared to legacy the movement is way better
@@Star-qc4br theres no reason not too if you dont like it then you can switch back ur dinos are saved in the servers
Even more fucked when other large non-apex carnivores come in.
so trex, trike, bary, austro ,kentro, maia, and allo are the dinos for phase 3 for now
I’m hoping allo gets added with Diablo and the mutation system because full grown diablos and stegos are gonna rule over the land with no competition by carnivores
Well if Allo truly is the secret dino we were all waiting on, hopefully it's a weight class will suffice to brawl and hunt Diablo and Stego semi-efficiently.
I don't want my boy to be too big , he is the middest dino the jack of all trades and I love this about him
As someone who’s never played legacy, I’ll be excited to have a big ass carnivore to run from.
I really doubt that allo will release before maia
pot actually lags way more for me and the rubber banding there is crazy. The isle doesn’t lag even when I join a high ping server. I feel like the only time I can have fun in pot is when I go to crater
Ok? We aren’t talking about path
when is it going to be added though? Its not going to be the next patch so probably around the next year :(...
Of course when we say "soon" in the isle it means anywhere from 1-5 years
Why do they take so long to
I'd say the same things whenever a new player would ask me which dino they should pick.

Will you make a video on Beasts of Bermuda’s brand new snake the palaeophis?
The development of this game is the equivalent of grass growing or paint drying.
i hope evrima optimises so i can run more than 15 fps on the lowest settings
It’s becoming less and less worth it with each update they roll out tbh, the game gets stupidly more demanding with each new update for no reason
@@misterionorman9764 awe cmon that sucks. Thanks for the heads up
I think spiro is way better than gateway. I wish more people still played it and they didn't move it to its own branch D:
“Well well well” I love u dude
Regardless, how I feel overall about the isle itself I think the new teaser for Allosaurus is pretty interesting and I like it, but yeah you're video was really good as always and hope you're having a good day
if the devs of the isle want me to play that game, adding allo would be a very tempting start. i need more playables. rn it feels so out of your way to hunt anyone cuz you all have different roles to be playing in the enviornment. and standing up/sitting down shouldnt take stam lol legacy feels waaaay better to play
Finally Stego's empire ended
Stego can just use a cliff then its unkillable
Just wait till miasura is added ;)
Dont be too certain, that New attack and mutations are BUSTED
Allo is max 3 tons same as dibble in game. I don't think it stand a chance against a ful grown stego 1 v1. That would be very unbalanced.
@@gianferdinandtorres2721 allo is stegos natural predator
Everybody making allos, excited to get revenge on some stegos, suddenly realizing that every stego player is now an allo player.
That sounds so much better tbh because at least Allo doesn’t have an insane range attack
Allo vs stego 1v1 really? Dibble can probably beat allo, how much more a full grown stego.
I thought allo would be a bit bigger than a carno, but not big enough to pose a threat to a stego or even a Rex.
I think these dino games miss any opportunity of making the game more balanced when trying to put dinos from different time periods together. The ecological relationship network among dinos vary greatly across the triassic, jurassic and cretaceous. If they would make servers around geological formations it would favor gameplay balance I imagine.
I don't think it will he soon haha I feel like they are super super slow with their development
But I'm very patient so I'll wait
long live THE ALLOSAURUS 👑
Cant wait to be actually able to play a carni now lol
HELL YEAH!!! MY MAIN!!
Somebody knows how to update the isle in steam to get the diabloceratops ? I can not play that Dino
It’s in the hordetest, you right click the isle, go to properties, then betas and switch to the hordetest, although I don’t recommend it because of the absurd lag there is, dinosaurs literally teleporting everywhere, getting hit from three kilometers away, you know, lag shenanigans
I think that the Allo should be more of a lonely dino and should have a maximum group member of 2. This would be much more fun to have in the game.
but then it should be strong because such a Deinosuchus is much stronger and it could also have 2 species in the group
@@Jeff_Reyx yea for sure, I think it should be much stronger. I would love to see cera 2v1s and 3v1s against an allo.
Where is my allo?! Aaaaaaa
If only the performance wasn't so horrendous
I realy want all the dinos from lagacy to evrima i miss the spina and ancylo😢
This video came out 3 months ago. Still not even close to allo.
How do you know
Aged like cheese
Very soon = next year
Dondis excuses for why he can’t push an update out of his teams ass more than once every two years is getting old. I picked up path of titans recently and it’s a blast. Def less realistic, even on realism community servers, but at least new stuff comes out frequently. I’d recommend everyone to pick up one of these other games for when there’s a content drought, they aren’t too different and much more functional than TI is sometimes.
I'm saying Para is next large herbivore
Sick. Now if they’d fix those fatal errors tho..
I wouldn't keep my hopes up for that "very soon" as soon is known to be uhhh a joke in this game's development.
They even made an April fools video titled Soon™
It better be... Next elder then ill be complete. Better be cannibal.
All this video did was tell me, once the other dinos are in the game all the current ones will be unplayable trash? Thanks for the hope.
i can't wait for allo to fair horribly against stego
I mean it should be obvious it would need a pack to even get a chance to kill a full grown stego. Some people are forgetting how much smaller allo is compared to stego.
i strongly think maia and allo will come together
i think allo will come with diablo!!!
WE LOVE ALLO WOOOOOOO🎉🎉🎉
People rlly think path is better than the isle ☠️
I don't like pot but at least it works
@@ender_z4nd3r83 No one is agreeing with you
@@EeARKky7435 he's right, i may prefer the isle, but the amount of lag, crashes and bugs is enormous. path of titans is much more polished and stable
@@EeARKky7435 someone not agreeing with me would show they are dumb or don't want to see the truth, and I don't care that kind of people not agreeing with me
In some regards, yes. In others, most definitely not. I've played both, and the less punishing nature of PoT is definitely a point against it imo. Not to mention just how plain... tedious it can be to grow a dino in that game.
It consistently runs better though. And that definitely makes it more appealing than Isle is
Thought that was a Cera. 🥴
