I was originally going to make a short update video, but don’t have time today. Episodic content doesn’t do super great on TH-cam because YT doesn’t recommend things as a series like Netflix or such does. So each video competes against others in the same series. In addition, if one episode doesn’t do as well because it got ‘pushed’ to people that had not made it that far in the series and therefore don’t click it, YT will stop offering the other videos to as many people. As such, I wanted to test having a ‘super cut’ of an entire series where the chapters/timestamps were the episode breaks." And yes, I have tried 30m episodes, 1h episodes, tried numbering only in title, numbering only in thumbnail, no numbering etc. I'll continue to test and change to land on what works best for me and the channel as time passes. Love these Fully Edited runs, so much easier to consume as a viewer with very little spare time and a strong love for Rimworld. Your tutorials have also been absolutely top notch
I've watched content creators play Rimworld here and there since its release, but I never played myself because the colony management genre alone isn't enough to draw me in. This DLC completely changed my mind, though. It was so awesome watching this playthrough, and now I'll give it a shot. Absolutely loved all the different grotesque events and entities, and it was cool that you read everything and tried to experience it all in a fair way without overpowered strategies. Appreciate the video and the editing :)
Should be noted - Void Touched also Inhumanizes the pawn and gives them 4 Death Refusals - normally only stacks to 2 via the ritual. The regen is also Ghoul regen, so they make incredible Sanguophages or organ farms..
Love to hear the last one broke even. It was the first vid I watched bc I kept getting recommended it, super entertaining and informative. Oh and another reason why series don't do as well is because sometimes TH-cam just doesn't recommend the next video in the series now

What an absolute wild ride. I'm actually glad that you were able to bang this out in front of most of the changes -- it gives a glimpse into the original vision for the expansion. I watched the full VODs (and some of it live!) but appreciate the edits.
Love the run, the first impressions are always priceless! And I especially enjoy all the theorycrafting and looking at stats. As someone not very good at math it can be hard to determine how good the new weapons are, but Adam always shows them very well :)

I really enjoyed this vid thanks for the content like usual :). I refused to watch anything about the anomaly DLC (even previews) until it came out so I could try it firsthand. I just beat the run myself before watching this and seeing you go through everything (but more intensified) was so fun. I really hope that these new form of videos break even consistently, because they are always my go-to videos.

Renaming the andrew's clone to Andtwo is exactly what I did with one of my randomly duplicated pawns, her name is 'Onesan' so I renamed her duplicate to 'Twosan' lol
Oh, and my two cents? I think I'll watch the supercuts more regularly than episodes in a series. There were two runs I caught up with as soon as episodes came out, but most I've just binged them with pauses after all of them were released, or stopped watching (the last one I stopped watching was the mechanitor, before that I don't remember). And waiting for a month or more in between upload builds some nice anticipation as a YT only viewer!
ahhh!! I want to binge watch this run so bad but I just started my first anomly run and this seems like the DLC you dont want to be spoiled. Ill be back soon!
I am loving this dlc, it adds so much to the game. Im finishing my first full run, but now that i saw the craziness that emerges by the end i think i need more preparation. Go juice, lavish meals, a ghoul army, plenty of flares, masterwork rifles, lamps everywhere... i'll make it to the void eventually
I've said this before, but I'll say it again; A multi hour video to listen as I fall asleep and restart when I wake up to see what I missed? Don't mind if I do!
I’m double commenting because Adam’s videos are that good also I wanna say that I love this series but the reason I love melee gods so much is the lack of gunfire. I have sensory issues so the lack of guns in melee gods makes it the perfect series for me. I’m still loving this one tho! I love seeing Adam struggle with new threats.
It was edited so smoothly I didn't even noticed and got depressed as going through anomaly is taking me already business week and I didn't progressed much 😅
Suggestion for a new run: PETERPAN/LOST BOYS run -> You start with children only and as soon as they complete 18 they have to be sacrificed or banished. You can only recruit pawns up to 13 years old and MUST accept all children joins.
amazing run! ghouls are very good, even better with genes! Because they don't need to work you can have them implanted with all the combat genes that's gotta be super op😂
This was a lot more manageable than the almost 9 hour Sanguophage run, and the content was great as always (Inc. that run too) More unsolicited feedback but hey, its a comment for the algorithm archotech 😉
I fell asleep about 3 hours in. Anyone else ever feels sleepy when watching some long playthrough sometimes and then you just have to re-watch the whole thing because you didn't want to forget or miss anything and then fell asleep all the same?
I hear lots about the anomalies being SCP influenced but the creatures sound a lot like the Phyrexians with the black corrupting oil and metal/flesh hybrid bodies.
Subjective low effort/high impact suggestion for the editing: Show the starting pawn selection in brief (like, who are we rooting for?? Traits/name/skills. I was a little bummed out when that part was skipped Edit: I didn't know the two starting pawns were a couple for example! When the Highmate joined, I immediately thought: Oh, bonding time! And Adam said "can she bond to the Ghoul?" and I was like ??? and then the wedding happened and everything became clear. TLDR: SHow starting pawns in edited runs, thx
