It was used as an erroneous synonym to the correct term, “Comminuted”. Comminuted is the term used to mean that the bone has broken with several fragments and not just one fracture line. Fracture is the medical term for “break”

Heliotropism, or solar tracking, is when a plant follows the movement of the sun during the day...the sun being Lottie who seems to mostly dress in colors of yellow and gold. It's also rooted in the Greek Helio (sun) and there are a lot of ties to Greek mythology being paralleled in the show. Laura Lee was the "sun" previously, and Lottie took on her mantle when she died.

If you had a writer, producer, editor, ANYONE working on this with you must not have watched the show otherwise you or they would have known the info you got wrong.
I clicked on this by accident, not noticing it was from a million years ago…I stopped watching when you said Tai’s political opponent ran a commercial poking fun at cannibalism “a well known thing the girls had to do to survive.” It was so well known that people are constantly asking ‘so what did you REALLY have to resort to out there’ or whatever. The secret that Tai hired Jessica Roberts to ascertain the other survivors wouldn’t tell. The audience is pretty sure - we’ve seen the pit girl & someone being hung from a tree to bleed out, but it is not explicitly acknowledged until s02. Take better notes for fuck’s sake. You probably spoiled that shit for someone - the not being quite sure about it was part of the intrigue & tension.
If you go back he recalled these segments a year ago then put this together. So it was a prediction. You basically spoiled it for other people by saying this.
The thing that bothers me the most is why is Aly class chair of the 1996 reunion if she was a freshman when the survivors were seniors? Also I really don't think they are cannibals. I think Lottie convinces the others that they have to make sacrifices to the wilderness and then wilderness brings a bounty.
I can't stand adult Shauna. It's such a horrible miscast and it effects the overall experience of the show. Why is she built like a linebacker as an adult? And why is everyone trying to f**k her? The suspension of disbelief is too great and it sucks that she's the main character of the entire show. What were they thinking?

i think it's very realistic she has a generic mom build. And Adam wanted her bc he was a secret superfan of the plane crash and wanted to get the inside story.
It's really weird what Hollywood is doing with this Melanie Lynsky chick and I can't for the life of me figure it out. They cast her as a rebel leader in The last of us. WTF? Luckily she's only alive for a few episodes, but it doesn't make any sense. She looks ditsy and talks ditsy. She has no business playing an alpha character. She is great as a typcast character, that of a goofy air headed chick and that's all she should ever be. They're treating her like she's the greatest actress in the history of cinema and she's so good that they're willing to stretch the casting of any character in order to get this actress. Is she related to royalty or does she have a parent that is the most powerful person in hollywood?
The plot twist of shaunas husband not cheating and being so supportive was was very refreshing and original
