Nice video! Btw, Vaseline *is* petroleum jelly. It's just a brand name. Sort of like how Velcro is a brand name of hook & loop tape. Having watched other videos, I think you would have had fewer bumps if you had made sure to fill in all of the holes on the wrap when running your fingers over and smoothing it down. The lines/holes in the mesh should not have been visible before applying the next piece of craft plaster mesh. You can put Vaseline on your whole face to make it come off easier. You can speed up the drying of the plaster tape with a blow dryer. This turned out great once you smoothed it out. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing tips! Thank you for sharing! Although removing the cast from the face wasn't that hard (it came off quite easily), I wish I did fill in all the holes of the wrap - i can totally see how that would make process much easier! thank you for watching
I tried this on my own but it didn’t turn out too well, I know I made some mistakes along the way that I plan to correct during my second attempt but I was wondering how you got your plaster strips to dry on your face? Mine stayed soft and wet even while waiting a long time, I tried blowing air on it with fans and it didn’t seem to make a difference 😅
thank you, love!! It is for special effects makeup, to use for prosthetics. I'm still just learning these sfx things, hopefully i'll make a video using a face cast to create special effects makeup once i figure it out :) thank you for watching :*
You should try putting alginate or silicone on your face before the plaster wrap to get get more detail, but have someone help you with that, don't try it alone...
Plz. Tell me the material u have used in this .plz plz .
sorry for delayed response - description box is updated with all the product info. hope it is helpful!

This would be a great solo project. I love it! 😉
Yes, indeed! thank you so much!
I'm wondering if to save money instead of using plaster strips, could you use paper mache. Like good heavy duty paper mache.
plaster strips dry much faster, i think. But paper mache is definitely a good and affordable idea
What is that for ? It was cool to watch

Fara your very beautiful art model blessed with beauty.
For most FX makeup, artists will use a life cast of an actors face to make sure the prosthetics fit to the actors face
Did the plaster strips heat up as it dries?
no not the plaster strips- they didn't heat up, but the poured plaster into the mold did.
Can you please tell me the spary name you used before putting plaster of paris in face mask..?
it's a non-stick cooking oil spray, like PAM
Can u use a glue stick to block out your brows? (Like when doing latex over them?)
i believe no, as glue will stick to craft wrap - better to use glycerin/vaseline so the brow hairs are safe
what does putting the glue on at the end do?
Probably seal it so it doesn't wash away if it gets damp?
Awesome! Thanks..love it! ❤️❤️
I am doing this for my final, thank you !
great! Hope it turned out well!
Nice work. 👍
thank you for watching!

I've seen in some videos how alginate masks can create accurate details even for eyelashes. That would be a good project to try next
Delia great job baby doll well done wonderfully made all A.
I read somewhere that covering your eyelashes and eyebrows and hairline with vaseline makes the removal easier...
didn't risk to cover my eyes, since I did it without help, but vaseline definitely protects all the hair!
wow :)
thank you!
It looks like anyone.
