Today, on my (either 4th or 5th) annual rewatch of Butter Lover, I learned that Moist Critical voices all of the characters AND the two characters are actually humanoid versions of Pokémon. I feel there are still more secrets to uncover, but it may take a couple more years.

@@Nia-or2ex years ago, when I first saw this video, I found out these characters were from a comic this artist was making. All the characters in the comic (at least at the time) were based on Pokemon. Can't remember exactly which, but I believe it was mentioned in the comic. When I last read the comic the artist was still actively posting new chapters. No idea what the status of it is now, or if it's still up. But if they didn't take it down, it shouldn't be hard to find- I can't remember the name right now unfortunately.

it’s honestly kind of fascinating to me that this animator released several animations that showed a huge amount of talent in character animation, one of which went ridiculously viral with 12M views, and 6 years later they’re still relatively unknown as an animator with a very limited social media presence. i wonder what happened

I was very surprised by the ending because I did not expect to hear this joke, though I knew the story.
"A guy comes to the grocery store and says:
- I'd like a kilo of cottage cheese, please.
The saleswoman gives him cottage cheese, the guy takes it, pays and leaves.
He comes back an hour later and says:
- I'd like three kilos of cottage cheese.
He takes the cottage cheese, pays and leaves.
4 hours passed, the guy comes with a plastic bag and says:
- Here, please, fill a full plastic bag of cottage cheese.
The saleswoman looked at the guy puzzled, but she gave him a full bag of cottage cheese. The guy paid and left. After a few hours, the saleswoman finishes her work and closes the shop. He looks - the same guy who came a couple of times for cottage cheese, this time with a wheelbarrow, runs and shouts:
- Please do not close!
She said:
- May the Lord give me peace, I want to go home, I'm tired, and you bother me with this bullshit...
- It's not bullshit! Let me fill this wheelbarrow with cottage cheese!
- And why do you need so much cheese?!

She loaded the wheelbarrow full of this cheese and the guy told her to follow him. They went to a huge farmland where there was a deep hole in the ground. The guy comes up with this wheelbarrow, tilts it and pours in the cheese. There are noises coming from the hole: munching... and belching...
The saleswoman, terrified, asks:
- Sir?! What's in there?!
Guy:
- I don't know! But this thing really likes cottage cheese!"
