    Thank you for the color inspiration, blue and copper. My plan was white veined marble on my countertop because of the barnwood colors but couldn't resist adding those two colors into the mix after watching your video. End result more of a faux quarzite. I love it and couldn't have done it without all your wonderful training videos.
    Testimonial: My only regret is that I used another brand of table top epoxy I had leftover from art projects but it was only a 24" x 30" counter. 30 minute working time is not enough to pull off Stonecoat's magic. It was setting up before I could manipulate those bubbles. I've been watching your videos for years, I knew better. Next project, bathroom counter, I'll use Stonecoat epoxy and your epoxy trowel stick. After my first epoxy counter experience, that tool will be a must have. Thanks again for all the training and inspiration. Can't wait to use your epoxy on my next project. I've got this!!!

    Is it possible to do vertical surfaces with epoxy, like if you wanted to entirely cover concrete steps? If so, I would love to see the techniques in a future video.

      anything vertical will run down. Maybe do the tops of the stairs cool, paint a solid color or faux paint the vertical part of the stair, then apply clear to tie the them all together.

    Hello I am a happy follower since your beginning:) Question: I hv sealed concrete floors in my whole house. I want to embrace the cracks and fill them to look like a Japanese Kintsugi bowl. Do you think I can use your product to do that. Thx

    • @mitchquist
      @mitchquist 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question! You can tint the flooring epoxy and overfill the cracks then come back and sand flat.

    The results are stunning! I'm researching floor finishes and just came upon ideas of sealing concrete floors. My home is on a slab and after watching this I want to do the entire 1200 sq. ft this way. Do you recommend this for kitchen and bathrooms?

    • @pibblesnbits
      @pibblesnbits 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Research thoroughly. Most cleaning products that you would use in a bathroom are corrosive (i.e. Bleach) and could destroy epoxy.

      Adjust the lights adjacent to the walls ask municipality before leaving walls too distant from "teriyaki" pattern. It's a coding violation. Trial and error. Practice at outdoor epoxy warehouse let them deal with it

    Can you use underfloor heating with an epoxy floor?

    • @mr.wizeguy8995
      @mr.wizeguy8995 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can. Underfloor heated floor work with every possible material especially if it's water circulated. Electric floor has some limitations but epoxy coated works well.

    I was wondering how well this holds up to UV? I have done a few counters with your product that turned out amazing. I was thinking about doing the foot paths in my 33’ greenhouse dome with this product. But I haven’t really seen it used that way and was wondering what your thoughts are.

    I really like watching the process but wish you didn't do them like cheap and cheesy infomercials. You are more on production than needed and getting less connection with the audience than you could just being natural.. The whole reason the maker video genre on you-tube has taken off is because we dont like the fake excitement.
    I have also been to your website, please put up more technical info on the actual epoxies, their formulas and properties. I dont see anything there that could actually be submitted to an architect or engineer for review. Even if your intended audience is the "home owner" most people dont do a renovation without some outside support.
