The Ultimates, Ultimate X-men, Ultimate Fantastic Four all need figures most of the ultimate marvel figures are quite old.
I’m glad that Iron Man is at least the same size, or maybe only 5% taller, as Captain America. The height thing always bothered me on the previous Extremis Iron Man
Now if we could only get a new classic Vision that's at least the same height if not a hair taller than Cap. The last one we got (2018) was on the Sunfire buck and it's too short. Cap is 6'2", Vision is 6'3".

Captain America it’s always the clip and peg for the shield, but once it’s a MCU Captain America it has plastic straps. Why not have plastic straps for the comic cap shield? Why is that so hard?
Love the darker blue and red for Cap(and Superman). I'll probably pick him up eventually.
Toy companies must be terrified of the upper ball joint torso except Mafex. That's the only reason I can see why they never give it the range needed to be useful. But it's a two part system. The lower torso needs to have forward/back articulation moreso then the top.
Just ordered this guy off Amazon he’s so become my my cap in my display grew up watching the ultimate avengers animated movie as a kid
I've been assuming the gun grip hands that sometimes come with Cap figures are for gripping the shield by the edge.
The shield clamp breaks on some figures more than others. The worst I've seen is the one in the HYDRA Supreme and Arnim Zola two-pack--that one breaks for pretty much anyone who tries to use it because they used the same stiff, brittle plastic for the shield they used on the figure. Some shields have softer, more pliable plastic that the clip expands fine for. I've been using the retro-carded Cap shield for years because its plastic seems fine to bend in and out a bit.
One of the best Sculpt Marvel Legends so far. Totally the next target to pick up 😊.
Honestly bought this just for the shield to Kitbash with my 20th Anniversary Cap. Looks like I won't be disappointed!
I was honestly going to preorder this Captain America because I wasn’t a fan of the 20th anniversary Cap but I ended up canceling the preorder and tried to get a different Cap.
I tried to get the vintage Captain America but ironically Amazon sent me the wrong figure and I got the 20th anniversary figure. I’m honestly pretty satisfied to have him in my collection despite the problems with the shield.
Can't wait to see more ultimate marvel legends like ironman and others also a brand new and much better ultimate Peter Parker
If you're excited for the Marvel Legends Captain America (Secret Empire) you can compare with the Marvel Legends Ultimate Captain America that they each have the same grin head sculpt that they'll look like twins
They have been using the same clip system since the toybiz days!! I really wish they would do the straps that the mcu figures use instead.
That's the logical choice, but apparently logic doesn't flow over at Hasbro.
Regarding the C-clamp Shield, why don’t people take off his hand, sleeve the shield then put the shield back on? If the shield is on the wrist joint (the smallest part of the arm) it doesn’t stress the “C”.
That’s one option, but pegging the hand back into the wrist could cause you to break it too
Captain France!, could be used also as a Skrull, you know, try to simulate the Secret Invasion plot from Avengers Earth´s Mightiest Heros
Have ultimate cap and extremis iron man coming in this week. Excited to have them both in my collection cuz they're some of my fav looks in both characters' comic history

They’re still using that damn c-clip on the shield?! They have the strapped shield that they used for Stan Lee and Zombie Cap but not for the “ultimate”
They’ve only used those strap type shields for MCU figures

Guess Hasbro had to cut corners somewhere. They really didn’t do the new sculpts justice for Cap or Ironman by limiting the articulation. Ball joints at the waist, butterfly shoulders, and drop down legs would make these definitive versions of the characters/costumes that even imports would struggle to out value. They both look like solid figures but definitely less dynamic that the other new stuff the Legends team has put out recently.
Hope this isn’t a sign of things to come with characters that they know will sell.

No ab crunch on Cap or Iron man is bit of a letdown. But they do look good.
The fact that they gave him a diaphragm swivel AND a waist cut, makes me think they did it so people can mod the 20th Cap to just give him the diaphragm swivel. Or its going to be reused for another Classic Cap. The latter is more likely.
One of the best sculpted Cap figs. Texture and fabric wrinkles look great.
I agree with MCU Collector about him needing a ball joint at the waist to compliment the one at the diaphragm. That or an ab crunch.
I would've liked to see a ball joint in the head and one at the base of the neck. Still Hasbro seems to muck those up more often than not.
As for the shield clip they should use the rotating straps that the GI Joe Classified Alley Viper has on his shield.
The strong colours look good. This and Extremis Iron Man are my most wanted.

I love captain America and I love this figure 9.8/10 (BUT DANG THE PEG SHEILD) I hate it, it always breaks all the time but it’s ok I have other ones that I can use instead still gonna get the figure

passing on this figure, the cap that came out last year is the only cap in my collection and I’m happy with him lol
they are really tryna copy mcfarlane with the torso and failed, but i will 100% get barron he is the best hydra member imo and he would look great on the shelf.

A simple double ball peg would’ve given you ALL the range in that diaphragm joint. Its like the Hasbro design team has no idea wtf they’re doing
I loved the art of Joe mad when he did his run on ult captain america.
A diaphragm cut that gets almost no range on a domestic figure, there's a reason Gi Joe classified are the best articulated Hasbro figures
A ball joint gives you more and better articulation, it just has to be well implemented, by that I mean it has to be well designed
I think he is the best captain American Hasbro marvel legends have released.
7:14, technically not true, diafram joint would be excellent if it is implemented properly, just like a double ball peg is better for neck articulation, problem is that Hasbro doesn't execute them well.

I have been stoked for a Molecule Man figure ever since reading Al Ewing's Ultimates, so its the highlight of the wave for me.

If someone can mod that ab crunch then I might get it but why in the world they can't give a decent ab crunch for capt. it's like the ab crunch on ML woman's body like spinnerette. On the sculpt factor I agree its a good one.
High chance they will use this for Sam Wilson, Captain America like they did with that Marvel Now version
I think that figure only used the same legs. Sam wears a different suit, but maybe they could use the arms and legs I don’t know though

This is the modern comic Cap I'm gonna get. I don't mind the diaphragm joint but the wait swivel is redundant. A personal preference I would've liked is that he had painted wings on the sides of his cowl, based on the Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble cartoons which the deco of the Cap at 9:24 is also based on but I guess it would have not looked good on the ribbed pattern. But a nitpick I have is that the center stripe on his abdomen is white not red. I did not notice that until now, even I was constantly looking at the promo images for this. That's gonna bother me.

Wonder if we can pop that torso and shave off some plastic to increase the range. Ball joint waist would have been awesome. But a swivel is fine. Atleast we got something unlike the extremis which feels so stiff...
Western toy companies need to embrace the double ball peg upper/lower torso combo.
Jada Toys are with their upcoming Street Fighter line. And those will be pinless, too.

Excellent figure. Like you said, the clip on the shield sucks as it could break, plus the limited torso articulation. Otherwise, no complaints. The sculpt, paint, alternate head and fists. Great

My word the range on these Diaphragms is terrible! You know you ain't doing it right when Black Series got better range. Smh, the sculpt is quite nice though. I might wish I could switch out the forearms but can't with the pinless tech.

As I’m looking at this Captain America, I’m seeing the possibility of customizing him into a more appropriate AVALANCHE figure. That angry face prompted that idea in my head.
Same idea here. That angry head could be a great Avalanche.
@@javierlechuga9112 I’m thinking you may have to use sculpting clay to make the helmet and to sculpt armor on the figure. The new AVALANCHE is too small body wise, but this CAP buck has the proper musculature for AVALANCHE.

Fun fact: Iron man's extremis armor did once appeared in the ultimate universe in an issue of ultimate spider man requiem in which he used the pre ultimatum armor to stop madame hydra and her goons from stealing what is truly his I think? It was brief but nonetheless it was for fan service moment.

Forget the clip. They have the MCU shields with straps in them. Use those, but with smooth, comic book shields.
Why didn't they use the same binding system as the Captain Carter action figure's shield on the Ultimate Captain's shield? Wake up Hasbro!!

Due to random pooptube restrictions I can't fully appreciate the part of the video when you slightly sing' the diaphragm joint isn't too good ' which I feel due to random pooptube weirdness, would mandate monetary random pooptube restrictions. Otherwise very fartworthy 😛

This is such a Meh figure for the Price.... why buy this? Its not the definitive Cap look. Wheres the Wings on the helmet? Just get the 20th Anniversary Cap. Its perfrct.
