  • After a few days at Kendal, I then moved further into the Lake District…. It was a very wet start with the weather being very ‘Lake District’…. All of the seasons appearing in one day (or over the course of a few hours in some cases).
Castlerigg Hall is a lovely site near Keswick with some amazing views over Derwent Water. Very clean, tidy and well kept site and again, the staff were all lovely and super helpful.
Lots to do and see around the area although I only went on one walk. This was Walla Crag and although it may not be considered one of the Lakes most challenging walks, it was enough for an unfit knackered me. 😊 Well worth it and if you’re able, I highly recommend it. The view at the top is amazing 😊

Just watched all the videos over the last few days, very pleasant journeys even in the poor weather it's nice to have time to just chill out in what looks to be a lovely van, keep the videos coming and have a pleasant rest of the weekend

Nice. You could have shown us some of the stills you got - we are probably much less critical than you 😊

Maybe at the end of the year I'll stick together a video/slide show of 2024-in-photos and hide the poor photos amongst the rest 🤣🤣
