Have you tried Sennelier paints? I have the Sennelier tube watercolors and (in my own experience) they seem to be even better quality than W&N. They are more saturated and I get a lot nicer blends and color mixes, no more muddy colors! :)

Actually, Gerstaecker is a German brand. But it's available in many European countries. ✌️😎
I do the same I use my plate and your right when you use good water or gouache the quality is a big difference 😊

i love their acrylics! don't love all of their stuff if i'm being completely honest, but the acrylics really are amazing!

Honestly the sta wet palettes are too wet for the Holbein acrylagouache
