Is anybody else sitting watching this with their jaw on the floor and mouth watering..... Mine is !! How many times have I driven past here and been in the cafe. Jeez theres so many projects here. Cheers mate, hope you came away with a few prizes.
Was a fantastic morning rummaging around, lots of impressive bits to see, again thankyou to the owners for allowing us all to get stuck in, thanks Steve and Lou Lou. Thanks Adam 😊
Yes a jaw dropping video, what a collection, booodiful. My dads back yard was a similar state, stables and outbuilding all derelict, he was into large scale demolition (power stations, gas works...the dockers umberella in Liverpool too) and brought lots of interesting stuff home, it took me 5 years to clear it all and restore the house, sadly the internet didn't exist then , it would have been a great tool for me. I grew up on demo sites and have a love for Ruston Bucyrus cranes, I would love an old Ruston stationary engine..... ah, one day.
This one has to be the best so far, and you've put up some great ones in the past. To be able tp walk around all that history must have been a delight, so wish I was there with you. Good to hear that those historic engines have gone to some good homes. Looking forward to you doing up those you've bought, bring it on.
Excellent video, really great that you got to see and save so much. Really looking forward to watching the videos that you make on your recent acquisitions
Loved the old fashioned outdoor toilets for the cafe, and must mention having gone through the kitchen…I’m picky..but superb…would definitely eat here… so much character in that place, it’s a little gem, will pop in for lunch when next that way and see how the transformation is going…😊
Hello from ireland brilliant video of a lost but thankfully saved treasure of the real world gone by,back to life, when you see the craftsmanship especially the 40 ft home ,best of luck 🎉🎉🎉❤❤
What a fantastic invite you had. Chefin’s auction would make sure, a lot of it gets a good home, including Drew Pritchard in Wales would be interested in some of the fair ground stuff? There’s also Turner’s Steam Fairgrounds still travelling the countryside would have knowledge on a lot of the fairground stuff and value of it. Would be worth getting in touch with them. May even be interested in purchasing stuff from the new owners. Would be worth advertising in Stationary Engine magazine, plus the other Magazines Kelsey publishing. That caravan was something else. Such a wonderful treat for all too see. I see you have much knowledge on station engines me too. I think last count was about 52 engines so I’m not alone. ✔️👌
Hi Adam, What a video one of the best I just wish could have been with you to us collectors it was a gold mine, you are going to have a lot of fun doing that lot up I wish you all the best. You take care of yourself and stay safe.
That place is mind blowing. the vending machine was for guards cigarettes, the Park Drive sign reminded me of buying a pack of five on my way to school in the morning.
Adam you’re going to need a bigger shed with finds like that!! I know it would be hard to focus on any one thing, be like a kid in a candy shop. The lister and petter in the shed were a beautiful thing, I whisk you’d shown us the lister sign on the back of the door we caught a glimpse of. Great work Mr MC!!
Wonderful video, magnificent collection. A person could get lost in there shopping for new toys for weeks. But you need more & bigger sheds at the mancave, maybe a bigger lorry to carry your treasures home. Well done Adam, great video, excellent opportunity you were given.
Really neat, I miss my birth country often. I moved to USA in 81 i was 11 I still have family in the Newbury and in Portsmouth areas i was born in Newbury hospital. My sister married an American Air Force man.
Enjoyed the video it appeared in my recent uploads suggestions obviously being fairground related which my channel is about. Shame to see rides rotting away there and that showmans wagon was immaculate inside and great idea to make it available as an air B&B. Thanks for showing us around, fascinating 👍
I happened to stumble upon your channel and was a wondering treat. Those CS Lister Engines are amazing. I think I have over six different types, including air called👌
Lovely looking place.. I used to go to Spa place 5 minutes from there. Next time I go I would love to have breakfast or just coffee. As soon as I heard the bikes I knew where you where.. I parked in lay bye hear bikes flying along.. Cool video..
What a find! Thanks for showing us, I am so jealous. I almost wet myself when you showed that wallboard with all those Sykes Pikavant pullers! (Ex mechanic 😊) I hope you came away with that beautiful Stuart Turner? What a gem. If I had of been there I would have needed a bigger van. And a bigger shed. In a bigger yard! Oh, and a bigger bank balance🤣.
Great video Adam what an privilege to visit that cafe and what a treasure trove, I see that cafe was on Bangers and cash when the owner bought that j type Bus off the Matthewsons, your up there with the big names now Adam.
The best episode ever. So much history is all about to be separated and its context lost. I'll pop in for breakfast though and have a good look out of the back window now it has a better view than the front 👍
Oh my goodness Adam what a treasure trove , bet you and Rachel had a whale of a time and can't wait to see what you brought back to Man Cave lol. Dad turns 90 in May so must be one of your oldest fans lol.
i love that old ha van, stunning rare with the windows! love to see what it'd make at lynn classic auction🤩 last on the road 2014 according to dvla mot checker
Big long Caravan with the 7213 MX Reg to a Burgundy 1972 Foden with a revenue weight of 14255Kg. Last V5 swap was 24 Jul 2012. Currently on SORN as to be expected. This upload was recommended and you have a new subcriber. What a load of stuff in there! Im commenting before finishing watching the entire upload. I'll be back once watched the whole thing. 👍
A good weekend Adam, got a chance to look at some good stuff , it is all shed and buried and you got there before Henry Cole, We will have to see what you got. Take care
At the beginning of the 1960's I started work as an apprentice joiner fr a firm called Dovedale Caravans in Blackpool. A firm that disappeared 50 yrs ago swallowed up by another company. While I was there we built several showmans caravans and were always head and shoulders above touring and static caravans we made. Invariably the interior surfaces were covered in a popular material of the time called Formica, an expensive plastic laminate. I think three or four five litre cans of contact adhesive was used in each caravan. This one is built on a similar style. They were hand built and made to last.
29:20 Wow! I love those. You only sometimes see those at steam fairs or sometimes at the fairground I have a friend of mine who doesn't live so far from me who has a collection of those that actually play and are in great condition! Really hope this one found in the clip which is a Dutch Street Organ will go to a new home in the future I am surprised it looks like it's been in an time capsule.

What happens to all that stuff, auction, private sales ,or just clear out, great video, thanks for posting.
Amazing...
Very nice getting some engine s
I love the Norfolk area accent. It's a bit like the south west accent without the exaggerated "arrr" sounds.
This is going to be your best video ever, no wonder there were 6 adverts in it, how did you control yourself not to buy all the engines 🧐
Fantastic !
Great video keep it up😊
Fantastic
What an Aladdins cave. Just when you think everything has been picked over or discovered something like this turns up.
I hope much of this stuff can be at least preserved and not scrapped.
Oh, man. Hope you managed to save the wee Stuart. If not, I'd love to if there's a scrapper waiting for it.
My late grandfather Jim short used a showman's caravan down wootton marsh when he was lambing
I'd love a look round there I have a fairground organ myself
Superb. A time capsule - complete with cobwebs. The entry with a gas axe puts anything Indiana Jones could accomplish to shame
I definitely like see the video of suzkui Jimmy trip
I could spend a week there looking at the stuff would really like that anvil
Cracking vid mate.
Let's hope most of that stuff gets saved, please!
