@@SamFBM Sam, we don't drive Alfas because we are retarded. Clearly unreliable Alfas always has been a bs story. I have driven Alfas for 30 years uninterupted this year with an impecable record of reliability.
If you look carefully, the first nasty contact was from Rydell. In fact, during the overtaking maneuver, he pushed Giovanardi outside towards the grass. You can see it from the fact, that he (Giovanardi) had to correct the wheel to stay on the track. After that, of course, Giovanardi retaliated.
1:58 shows that Gio ran wide because he jumped the kerbs hard. Rydell left him enough room. I think what happened here was that Rydell thought he finished the overtake and tried to cover the line but Gio was there and they hit. Gio thought that Rydell was trying to run him off the track and decided to just spin him out
@jemimallah its ironically he got so mad at Reid for punting out of the way at Brands Hatch and claimed "I was nearly went off the the Circuit". Dude, you were in the middle of track, Reid bumped out of way and passed you. (Granted the Nissans had bullbars to punt off drivers so Reid was rightly punished). Rydell acted though like he was nearly killed or something. It was a dirty move by Reid but it wasn't unfair, taking into consideration the bulbar never existed for argument's sake.
volvo made for surviving in crashes, alfa made for winning races. a very good highlight from history.
Yep
you forgot the breaking down part with alfas xD
