Order 66 is the biggest checkmate in all of history, not only because of the action itself, but all of the moves that preceded it to make it work. It's always baffled me ever since I was a kid how the Jedi never caught on to what was transpiring behind the scenes, but as I got older, it made perfect sense. The Jedi had grown arrogant, insufferable, conceited, and never learned from the past mistakes of their history of other Jedi order's as well.
This is due to them putting the Jedi temple on top a sith temple (eventually the dark energy would cloud their minds and make it hard to detect dark side force users even in their own ranks) and the rule of two didn’t help either
What I love most about this piece is how you've given it a triumphant sound. Which is how I'm sure Palpatine felt about this moment. When I'm listening to it, I can imagine many of those living within the systems that the Empire controlled, would see this as victory march. They may have even used it in parades honoring their Emperor.
It sounds hopeless to me, not victorious. But it's a manner of opinion. But the Empire does have an anthem. It's the Imperial March, AKA Vader's theme, just more upbeat. It plays during the Empire Day Parade in Star Wars Rebels, and you can hear it in a recruitment ad in Solo.
"I used to think being a good soldier meant doing everything they told you, that's how they engineered us. But we're not droids, we're not programmed, you have to learn to make your own decisions!"
I get goosebumps when the strings come in at 1:30 to play the Force theme as a countermelody, and then a high crescendo at 1:45. It starts loud but then quiets before the horns and drums take over completely. Without words, this piece perfectly representing the Jedi’s attempt to fight back, crying out for help, but ultimate defeat
I hear a cry of defiance in the face of their end. They all knew it, they all could feel it, but if you notice in many of the stories where Jedi were slain many never wavered in their duty to protect. If they were going to die they were going to do it being Jedi.

Another clone bodily tackles a battle droid as it throws an arm up to defend itself against the incoming assault. A Super Battle Droid knocks a clones' rifle away and back hands him hard across the helmet that it makes him spin around, then proceeds to finish him off by shooting him in the back with its wrist blasters.

My friend and I used this to choreograph a lightsaber duel for a talent show at the summer camp we were mentoring at. They loved it and it wouldn’t have been as cool as it was if it hadn’t been for this epic remaster of one of my favorite SW tracks!
When the Death Star was destroyed, about half of the 501st Legion was still in the hangar getting to their ships. Of those who made it out, another third were caught in the explosion. I'd fought with some of those men for over twenty years. Afterwards, those of us that survived hooked up with a nearby Imperial fleet making a retaliatory strike on the Rebel's base on Yavin IV. It wasn't the best thought out plan, but we were cut off from our leaders, tired, and operating on instinct. If not for our training, we probably would've never gotten past their orbital defenses. And so the battle over Yavin came to an end. I'm told we destroyed hundreds of Rebel ships that day. Even if it had been thousands, it wouldn't have made up for the Death Star.
Bully Maguire saying that gives me the impression that he's powerful enough to carve a bloody path through the clones and rescue the younglings in the process.
No one ever complained about the cold on Hoth. We never felt it. Even though we were blinded by blizzards, we could see the final end of the Rebellion in our blaster sights. Was it only a mirage? Perhaps. But on that day, on that planet, our blood ran hot with dreams of victory, melting the ice that stood in our way. As the Rebels fled, the 501st gathered around a burning bunker and let out a cheer that shook the stars. The Rebellion was done, the Death Star was being rebuilt, bigger than ever. Order had finally returned to the Galaxy, in no small part due to the efforts of the fighting men of the 501st.
I am literally crying! Through your music Mr. Kim, the pain of countless generations of the star wars universe can be felt. The painful transformation from the Republic to the Empire. The pain of Anakin and all others who were betrayed or killed and will be killed or betrayed by Vader. It's SAD.
I can imagine this plays while the Jedi have a desperate last stand against the 501st legion as your friends are gunned down next to you. And then you feel HIS presence, a suffocating aura of Darkness as he begins to breathe.
“What I remember about the rise of the Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do.”

I was already hyped up by the music, but Vader's breathing at the end gave me bumps and chills. I was screaming on the inside, hyped about this sounding a whole lot like a Darth Vader movie / show trailer.
While this song is playing, I can see and hear a group of survivors making an epic escape from those who betrayed, chasing and attempting to kill them. It might've been a dream, it might've been a vision, it might've happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.
Palpatine: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? Anakin: No? Palpatine: I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. Anakin: He could actually save people from death? Palpatine: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. Anakin: What happened to him? Palpatine: He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself. Anakin: Is it possible to learn this power? Palpatine: Not from a Jedi.
I've said it three times I'll say it once more: I need an Uncharted and Last of Us orchestrations from you and then I'll be set for life! These are like my streaks for his videos lol

“There’s too many of them what are we going to do?”
“I fail to see how that’s my problem,” -Bully Maguire
"Could you pay me in advance?"
"I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye,"
Bully Maguire saying that gives me the impression that he's powerful enough to carve a bloody path through the clones and rescue the younglings in the process.
Darth Maguire
Yeah I can see this as a thing

"What i remember about the rise of the empire is... was how quiet it was.. during the waning hours of the clone wars, the 501st legion was discretely transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip.
Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps. But no one said anything. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the jedi temple. Not a word."
If i heard this while vader marched with his troops to slay everyone i would get the wildest goosebumps. You should seriously be a pro composer💁🏼🔥🙌🏻
Oh me too.
I was on the toilet when I clicked on this video and I gotta say...
That was the most epic shit I've ever taken
Was it dark enough?
"The story of the prequels is the story of an arrogant religion that gets a hold of the Messiah and then accidentally hands him over to the devil"

"this is where the fun begins!"
" did you ever hear the tragedy of Macbeth" that's what I used to ask my friend.
