Finally she found a home, as one does if you find people who love you unconditionally.

That's an interesting interpretation. I saw a mv reaction by a guy (don't remember his name now) & he said the video made him think of teenagers running away from home. I guess like the lyrics, the images are general enough to be open to lots of situations where people are struggling to find their way, purpose, or place. Being about a human emotion shared by many even if the specifics aren't the same, that's one of the things that makes a song great over time. Her song Borders is like that too. In the video, you can see the woman thinks she isn't skinny enough, representing those who feel they aren't pretty enough for whatever reason, but the man's reason for depression is left completely unexplained to be even more open for others to identify with.
The thing that makes me sad is that even though she is in a korean group...and is being promoted by a korean company, I see no korean people commenting here. Even though she is pure talent, and an amazing person... But I suppose she is judged because her hair is not long, she doesn't dress in pink skirts and acts all fragile and cutey, like girls are "supposed" to be. These stereotypes seem to be very strong in Asia. But well, it's not only Asia. This whole world has gone insane. Hate and anger everywhere. Thank you Amber for shining in such a world!

I agree SM is not great with managing all their talent, they tend to focus all their strength on the big hitters (boy groups, Krystal, SNSD) where they already have a formula: put them on a group then make money from commercials, OSTs and dramas. Amber is different so there is no easy formula for her, which makes it harder. I will say something unpopular even though I like Amber - being able to compose music and edit videos like a normal person is NOT the same as being able to compose radio hits and create videos that win industry awards. Not even close. If Amber ever gets to the point of being able to do things at that level, SM will start to pay attention because they have to - just look at Victoria's success in China.

The funny story with that bear is, I remember when I first left for Korea I left the bear in the States. I left it there and then I think, when I was in Korea because it is a foreign country for me, it never felt like home. And then when I went back to the States, I took the bear back to Korea. And I was like, “Okay, now this is home.” So I was hoping that wherever this bear stuck with me, it would feel like home. And that’s what it represents, hopefully figuring out where this home is. Later on in the music video you see that I trade it in for another bear. That symbolizes me, basically, because the industry or people in society want you to be certain things you have to be.
