My inspiration in SM is Taeyeon. Prior to her debut, Taeyeon almost didn't debut. As we all know SM's trainee program is intense and could be harsh on trainees. Tiffany at the time was Taeyeon's roomate and she recalls going home finding Taeyeon and all of her stuff gone. They said she went home and almost gave up but she came back and eventually debuted. SM's training is completely natural in my opinion. Those obstacles and harsh training makes the artist stronger around excessive judgments of stupid people in the Internet. Also when Taeyeon was a child, she was discovered by an SM vocal trainee and started training for SM. Her father didn't want her to be a singer so he even asked SM to stop training Taeyeon. Also because it was tiring for the child since they lived in a small province and they had to travel to Seoul for the training. However since Taeyeon was very passionate and loves to sing, her father traveled with her to Seoul every weekend for hours until she is finished.

It truly breaks my heart to hear that Amber's going through such a tough time, especially when she's been such an inspirational and positive figure in the kpop and international community. I'm trying to get out of depression, I've just started working, and as a really young person it is hard for me, I'm exhausted and my mental illness doesn't help, but this songs helps me a lot. Even after one listening of it, I feel like I'm getting stronger and closer to who I want to become - I'd never give up on my journey and face the hard moments in my life with my head up, so that I can make my dreams come true and make my life better. I forgot to mention the fact that she is very androgynous, and it's very hard to find a girl like that in Korea, tatted up with a pixie and raps for a living. Amber isn't as feminine and girly as the large majority of the other female idols, she looks like a guy; that's her style~ She's so different and it's a very beautiful and powerful thing because she does get a lot of hate for that. My inspiration in SM is Taeyeon. Prior to her debut, Taeyeon almost didn't debut. As we all know SM's trainee program is intense and could be harsh on trainees. Tiffany at the time was Taeyeon's roomate and she recalls going home finding Taeyeon and all of her stuff gone. They said she went home and almost gave up but she came back and eventually debuted. SM's training is completely natural in my opinion. Those obstacles and harsh training makes the artist stronger around excessive judgments of stupid people in the Internet. Also when Taeyeon was a child, she was discovered by an SM vocal trainee and started training for SM. Her father didn't want her to be a singer so he even asked SM to stop training Taeyeon. Also because it was tiring for the child since they lived in a small province and they had to travel to Seoul for the training. However since Taeyeon was very passionate and loves to sing, her father traveled with her to Seoul every weekend for hours until she is finished.

I got sick just before KCON NY and LA so I was sad when I heard AMBER was going to be there and I would miss her.
I missed watching thinking I was too old to justify buying a ticket... Which I will always regret. Amazingly I got to meet her just after she got done shooting video footage in front of the Staples Center. She is so friendly, sweet and beautiful in person. She took selfies and singled autographs. Glad I had s chance to tell her how much I appreciate her being a role model!!!

I'm trying to get out of depression, I've just started working, and as a really young person it is hard for me, I'm exhausted and my mental illness doesn't help, but this songs helps me a lot. Even after one listening of it, I feel like I'm getting stronger and closer to who I want to become - I'd never give up on my journey and face the hard moments in my life with my head up, so that I can make my dreams come true and make my life better. I forgot to mention the fact that she is very androgynous, and it's very hard to find a girl like that in Korea, tatted up with a pixie and raps for a living. Amber isn't as feminine and girly as the large majority of the other female idols, she looks like a guy; that's her style~ She's so different and it's a very beautiful and powerful thing because she does get a lot of hate for that. Everything about this, the music video, the lyrics, and of course the unique and lovely woman rapping it, is perfect.
*if anyone thinks I'm somehow being offensive, please know I also have a pixie cut and I am always mistaken for being a guy too XD my haircut is very similar to Amber's.
now listening to this song just reminds me of what happened to jonghyun and how amber was once so close to all of these and it is just...too much
this is such a deep and meaningful song and I only wish more ppl could recognize amber's hard work and understand what she is trying to convey thru her music.

Her rapping in this song doesn't even sound like rap. I don't mean it in a mean way, I mean it sounds like spoken poetry. It's seriously really beautiful. Amber has been through a lot in her life, I'm happy she wants everyone to fight their way with her.
