Where I live in the world, there are quite a few public loos that you have to pay to use most of them have a window where you pay, and at these, there is a reduced price for children, and there is one which I came across which has a turnstile which takes your money, at the one with the turnstile it was 20p last time I used it (a few years ago) most of the others are 20p for adults, and 10p for children, but I did come across one which was 40p for adults, and 10p for children Price conversions: 10p - £0.10 GBP / €0.12 EUR / $0.14 USD / $0.17 CAD 20p - £0.20 GBP / €0.23 EUR / $0.28 USD / $0.35 CAD 40p - £0.40 GBP / €0.47 EUR / $0.56 USD / $0.69 CAD
I love the sound effects. I actually like the idea of pay toilets if they self clean. My favourite are probably the clear glass / opaque glass ones they have in Japan.
Honestly, those ones are probably better than these. Especially since those won’t automatically open the door on you. And the self-fogging glass those use is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen!
Toilets like that in Australia have a 10 minute time limit but are free to use! However some of those automated toilets could possibly also automatically call the police if the alarm sounds.
I bet the build back better living pods will just be these with a bed. Stacked on top of each other, and they'll have some type of Soylent gruel dispenser or soy hamster feeder.
