I’m so glad Japan has fully closed stalls. To know if someone is inside there’s a guide in the entrance that shows if it’s locked/occupied (mostly at rest stops) or the door has a clear indicator. The seat cleans itself in some cases too like at the airport. Everything is even automatic! Flushing, cleaning, rinsing and sometimes drying on the toilet.
Japan also sells soap sheets and we have our own towel to dry hands most people carry themselves and there’s almost never a handle for the faucet. Everything feels a lot cleaner in the toilet rooms than in America.

I’m glad there’s a gap underneath the stall cause one time when I was at bingo with my grandpa (I was old enough to be able to play) and I had to use the bathroom, my stall door got stuck and wouldn’t even open so I had to literally crawl out in order to free myself. Thank God I was using long jeans

Fun story time!: My sister was trapped in a bathroom stall in an air port the locked was rusted and couldn't get it open so my mom was trying to free her the doors were so large and down that not even my small cousin could fit so in the end my mom like a badass jumped over the top from another stall and kicked open the door and my father in the end asked why it took so long
