I have a smoothie every day as my after exercise snack! I put in coconut milk, 1 frozen banana, kale and/or spinach, peanut butter, 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract and 2tbsp cacao powder
I love your videos! I always feel so relaxed, what with your calm personality and the music that is perfect for chillaxing; thank you so much for making videos like these! :)
All of these things look so good! I'm vegan but now I'm inspired to get more superfoods and greens into my diet. I'm going to try the pumpkin pie recipe! :)
Wow Blue, all of that food looks amazing!! Those burger balls 😍 and the maca cacao drink 😍 and the pumpkin pie 😍 I can't wait to come over and eat your left overs 😂
Love your videos! That smoothie looks amazing. I have cacao nibs and never knew what to do with them because I think they taste gross on their own. I will try adding them to a berry smoothie later!
Hey! This video has been so helpful because I’m currently vegetarian but I’ve wanted to go vegan for a while now so it always helps me to see what other people eat on a vegan diet! Also where did you get your straw and alarm clock because I’ve been looking for straws and I can’t seem to find the right one! And your alarm clock is amazing! Xxx
Here is where I bought my glass straws: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01FFQAO8Q/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=sophschoices-21&camp=1634&creative=6738&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B01FFQAO8Q&linkId=e090c99acdbbe03e0c16e7739d0119d0 And here's my alarm clock: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008LR3KD8/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=sophschoices-21&camp=1634&creative=6738&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B008LR3KD8&linkId=2912569164cf42a2d3170e15214349e9
Hi! Everything you ate looks so Amazing and tasty!! For breakfast I had your delicious 3 ingredient pancakes, I am addicted to those and also my little two years daughter loves them :) I have a question: how long do you soak dates for? I've just started making my own almond milk and I am experimenting, maybe I add some dates to make it little sweeter... thank you Blue!!!
That's so wonderful to hear... those pancakes are super easy and nutritious, the perfect quick and yummy breakfast for little-uns. Every Sunday I fill a jar with dates and water and keep them for the rest of the week. I'd recommend soaking them overnight but you can do it in big batches, too. I love to add dates to my homemade milk for sweetness.
Thank God you showed Winni again at the end. My toddler wanted to eat everything you made! But we had to keep rewinding to the being to see Winni again! Great video, what is the pine good for?
One thing... it's not the first time I see people eating their veggies/salads/etc (in your case it's spinach) and not rinsing them with water when taken out from the packages. They are all washed with chemicals prior to sealing in bags...
100% not judging, just curious in case I missed it: when did you quit being zero waste? I noticed all the plastic packaging especially towards the beginning of the video...
Thank you for your comment! I am still living a low-waste lifestyle. The plastic freezer bag has been re-used (I've been using this one for over a year), and the same goes for the tupperware (although I do also use glass ones). As for the frozen berries, these are out of season and not available in the UK unless frozen in these bags. I do buy most of my produce package-free from local green-grocers and markets, but berries are not on the menu this time of year. I hope that helps answer your question. Thank you for pointing that out, perhaps I'll go into more detail in a future video!
Hi Blue, lovely video, like always! I wanted to read your Blog, but I couldnt open the articles on my iPad or iPhone, is there some kind of problem with reading your Blog on Apple devices or is it just me? Greetings from Germany :)
Still in the process of watching, but why the molasses? I've never heard of someone adding that to their smoothie. Is there a nutritional reason, or is it a flavor choice?
Have you ever tried your cat with vegan cat food? I'm thinking of ordering or making some for my cats, I just don't know whether they'd take to it, especially since they love bringing in their own birds and mice so much! :P
I'd say about a teaspoon per serving, so I add about 2-3 tablespoons to the large bottle and about 1 tbsp of lemon water. But I don't measure it, just eyeball it.
Hi. Thank you for commenting. Yes, I do actually buy fruit and veg from the market and my local green grocer. The bananas were loose but I put them in my zip-lock bag I've been using this same one for years) to freeze them. Fruit is now out of season so I buy frozen berries, otherwise all is loose and local.
Thank you Blue for reading me! And thank you for your videos, you really inspire me. I know is very difficult to avoid plastic. I live in Spain and sometimes is like a nightmare!
Thank you Blue for reading me! And thank you for your videos, you really inspire me. I know is very difficult to avoid plastic. I live in Spain and sometimes is like a nightmare!
So true . We go to market and take tote bags I'm trying to avoid plastic .unfortunately my tiny fruit and veg market sells berries like blueberries , strawberries etc in plastic boxes so I buy frozen berries from the supermarket like this . But spinach, carrots, peppers . Sweet potatoes cauliflower broccoli etc we buy at the market and beans etc in big bags
I'm trying to become more healthy but I'm really struggling to find foods salty enough as I'm so used to eating salt and vinegar crisps as a snack and I feel there's no healthy replacement other than nuts but I'm trying to eat them unsalted. I'm also vegetarian currently and want to be vegan but CHEESE! I've tried and failed multiple times to go dairy free and I just can't seem to keep it up for very long, the cravings are too intense and vegan cheese is not the same at all 😔 it's so difficult when it's such a huge change. I basically only eat beige foods at the moment and I feel crap but I just struggle so much to keep up the willpower to change! Does anyone have any tips?
OMG that drink turned out so frothy, I always heat up the milk and the superfoods but now, I will prepare everything in a blender to reach that consistency
Actually, that is not entirely true. Both my cats are vegan, the only ingredient they need from the carnivore diet is taurine. The taurine that you find in cat foods is always synthetic, and is also added in vegan cat food. Hope I got to help you with this information. Loved the video
Dear @Blue Ollis, In the video you posted 4 months ago, "ZERO WASTE + CRUELTY FREE BATHROOM TOUR| My Minimalist Memoir," you said that you were going to give us your recipe for your natural deodorant. You still haven't uploaded the recipe. I know your very busy, but I only trust you when it comes to making homemade products. I hope you see this comment. Thank you. Warm regards, Jalene B.
Hi Jalene. Yes, I've put it to one side for now, but I'll definitely be posting it soon if that's something you're interested in seeing. Thank you for reminding me!
You've been glowing lately! Side note - I love these types of videos.

Yessss. Great vid x
I love that you make all these concoctions of foods; I do the same!
Love your videos! That smoothie looks amazing. I have cacao nibs and never knew what to do with them because I think they taste gross on their own. I will try adding them to a berry smoothie later!
They can be tart on their own, but in smoothies they're delicious!

Hahaha... I'm so glad you like seeing Winnie. She's such a sweetheart. Pine pollen also balances the hormones, particularly testosterone.
Thank you for this video, great recipes! Your cat at the end is amazing ;)
Hi Blue. I love your videos,. As a new vegan, less than six months, I find your videos inspirational for my vegan journey. And I love your accent.
Thank you so much!
One thing... it's not the first time I see people eating their veggies/salads/etc (in your case it's spinach) and not rinsing them with water when taken out from the packages. They are all washed with chemicals prior to sealing in bags...
Thank you for that. I often forget to wash them but I'll be more careful now.
Yes~new video!
all the food looked amazing! huge thumb up
I was just about to mention it looks like your brewing a potion! Lol, especially with the wooden spoon :)
I happen to be eating a gut healthy salad with some tea cooling for later! :)
Good tip about soaking dates
Just something I noticed, your watermark in the corner is still SC. I love the 'new' name.
Loved this video!

Still in the process of watching, but why the molasses? I've never heard of someone adding that to their smoothie. Is there a nutritional reason, or is it a flavor choice?
molasses has iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6!
Yum! 😋
Have you ever tried your cat with vegan cat food? I'm thinking of ordering or making some for my cats, I just don't know whether they'd take to it, especially since they love bringing in their own birds and mice so much! :P
What is your ACV and lemon juice to water ratio? Seems everyone does it a bit differently
I'd say about a teaspoon per serving, so I add about 2-3 tablespoons to the large bottle and about 1 tbsp of lemon water. But I don't measure it, just eyeball it.
You can buy fruit and vegetables in the market so you don´t use plastic bags!

I'm trying to be more minimal and zero waste as well so I think it's just tricky to change so much at once! How do I go about taking it step by step?
OMG that drink turned out so frothy, I always heat up the milk and the superfoods but now, I will prepare everything in a blender to reach that consistency
Love your videos but find the heavy piano music a bit distracting
Is your cat also a vegan?
childofgod cats can’t be vegan like dogs can.
Nope, cats are natural carnivores.
Actually, that is not entirely true. Both my cats are vegan, the only ingredient they need from the carnivore diet is taurine. The taurine that you find in cat foods is always synthetic, and is also added in vegan cat food. Hope I got to help you with this information. Loved the video

Blue Ollis - Thank you for seeing my comment and replying back, it really means a lot.🌻
You should soon start ur videos.
Too much kale ruins a smoothie. It gets 'muddy.'
