      You should experiment with soaked nuts and seeds for future recipes. Nuts and seeds contain chemicals that prevent them from being digested by animals. The only way to get rid of this is by sprouting (soaking it in water overnight), since it gives the nut/seed the illusion that it has been planted. Store bought roasted nuts/seeds don't usually have this process done to them.

    I made this tonight for dinner using a Japanese sweet potato instead of corn and adding carrots. The sauce was spot on! I had already cooked quinoa so I served it with that instead of rice. Excellent!

    This dish is amazingly creamy, coconutty, and slightly sour. The cilantro and peanuts on top really push this dish to S tier. Thanks so much for this recipe!!!!

    This looks so nice. I'd make it with almond butter and nuts as I can't have peanuts. I just made your recipe for mushroom fusilli, with oat cream instead of cashew cream. It was delicious!

    This is my go to recipe! My boyfriend and I absolutely love this! I just substitute the tamarind paste with freshly squeezed lemon juice and it works just fine

    Oh my! I made this yesterday, and we loved it! Leftovers tasted even better, though it was a little pasty after being refrigerated, so I thinned it with a little broth. It comes together very easy, and was quite tasty and nourishing. Thank you for another great recipe, it is a keeper!

    You simplify it to the point that even a novice would find it easy, my son who is vegan ( I’m not ) loves the food I cook from your channel as do I, all I do is add my chicken or lamb or beef and wow, restaurant quality, the flavours you have imparted on me since I started following your channel are a world away from what I used to eat and for

    I've been a fan of your channel for over a year now since a friend shared your one-pan lentil & rice curry. That recipe is remarkably similar to something i used to make a lot in 1988 when i lived in a one-room cabin on Saltspring Island & only had a bike for transport.
    I made this peanut curry for the first time just last week & tonight is the 3rd time i've made it. It's such a perfect recipe for winter, because doing the tofu and veggies in the oven really warms up the kitchen! Tomorrow i'm finally gonna make that Next Level Chili Oil. Thank you so much for your wonderful recipes and gorgeous, relaxing videos.

    I cooked this dish using kuri squash from my garden, upo gourd, tofu and several other veggies from the grocery store. Brought it to a family gathering in San Jose, CA. It was a great hit! Left-overs were taken by the host family who has 2 small kids and an infant. They were ever so grateful. My husband suggested to serve this dish again at a bigger gathering out in Mendocino. This dish is travelin'! Thank you so much for de-mystifying this curry. I didn't think I had it in me to make a delicious curry!

    It really does look good, Wil - it's trademark "party I'd like to attend" with those lovely colours and textures (and my imagination for the sense of taste).       Smoked tofu is dense, meaty, and flavorful. Small packages cost only $3-$4, and may be worth trying. You might be pleasantly surprised.

      Most recipes call for a neutral flavoured oil so as not to overpower the other ingredients 🙌🏻

    Curry is definitely the king of vegan recipes. My mouth is watering already. I usually like eating my curry with a nice crispy french baguette. Dipping the sauce with. Uuuhm my favorite. So comforting.

    This was a joy to prepare and certainly and is an inspired recipe. Those in the kitchen and nearby became very interested as the cooking progressed. The combination of ingredients and spices work so well and the instructions were easy to follow. Thank you.

    Hadn’t heard of smoked tofu, will have to try and source it here in Australia. We have a five spice marinated tofu pieces

      Actually “ smoked foods “ are toxic….they have carcinogens from the “ smoking” process…..it’s better to use plain and toast on low heat in a skillet…..option: cut in slices & roll in sesame seeds or any seed of choice and toast…..‼️⁉️🇺🇸

    It's also important to cook the curry paste down in oil (but not burnt) before adding anything else because that lessens the spiciness and make it more well-rounded in flavor

    That looks amazing I'm making it tonight! Might tweak it a little I'm going to add fresh pineapple a little bit of Chinese 5 spice, and I've toasted cashews on top. Can't wait to try it. All your recipes are amazing! 💖
