...also forgot to mention I replaced the hot water tank with the tankless water heater and it is the best investment I ever made with the RV so far. It was around 700 cdn on amazon so probably 500 dollars.
@@veganc5028 So Far yes. Up in Ontario Canada we have used it for 2 summers now. redid the inside by painting all the cabinets and pulled our the 2 side chairs and built a bench that expands into a bed and flips up to become a storage bin. we've installed a floating floor and painted all the cabinets and hinges. I've also installed stringless blinds throughout. The only issue I have with it is the gas. I think the transmission is revving too high on the highway and even in the city. I can't tell what gear it is in but I used 1 full tank ever 2hours of driving roughly. I figure around 6MpG. I'm planning on pulling out the transmission and adding a few gears maybe; most likely send it out to a transmission shop. No Rust and very low mileage.
@@unmodifiedtruest I haven't done it yet. 2 feet of snow here in Ontario Canada plus can't get any parts right now feels like Cuba. Regular gas is around $1.60/L which is around $6 dollars/gallon for regular. $1 per mile to drive this thing in Canada. Most of the gear places that would help are in the USA. I will let you know what I do as soon as it's done. I was even contemplating putting in a full engine tranny swap with PCM from a 2008 Econonline 5.4 gas/propane engine. I'm just not sure of the compatibility of the mounts and driveshaft.
I have the same power supply as this one and am trying to troubleshoot a ac power issue. Having trouble finding anyone to help. Do you know anything about the power supply?
i know it wont supp;y 120 volts for roof air , i had to put a 120 v 3500 watt power supply in my rv to run the roof air in my current rv ,will be doing a video when it comes out of storage ,great question
@@thisguysgarage not AC as in air conditioner. But it’s a alternate current problem. As soon as I plug into shore power it blows the power source fuse.
what was the engine on it 7.3? v8? did you know the weight of this unit and what it could take on top of it? thank you for the tour.
I love the wood work!

I'm about to buy one but I'm concerned about the MPG. did you end up modifying the transmission? I'm really eager to know.
