I have the same issue with my TA650, how are you finding the replacement ECU? I actually replaced my entire ECU kit with a replacement used one off ebay, i assumed it was then issue with wiring, but if i can get around it with this ECU then I might try that, wish i jnew about this sooner
I'm building a custom from this model, is it true that gets power directly from the battery? and do they program the parameters directly from the factory or do you have to play around on the software? also does the engine run better compared to the original?@@LargeWayRound
The CDI unit uses an adaptor to connect directly to the Original CDI PLUG , you remove the old cdi unit and connect up the one plug and thats it. It is already programmed for the bike (you need to tell them our bike of course). They also send you some basic software so you can mess about with the programming of the unit . I havent touched the programming yet as the bike seems to run great without changing. The chap I emailed (Jiri) said he run a Transalp 650 with a unit attached. The reason I had to change as my old cdi had a intermittent fault with the HISS system and the Ignitech unit has no HISS system so it fixed the fault. The email is ignitech@ignitech.cz The unit is TCIP4 (154.55 EUR) with connector adapter (22.31 EUR) and the recommended adaptor USB cable (13.22 EUR) = 190.08 EUR PLUS DHL FREIGHT P.S. I have no affiliation with Ignitech

Sí, es una moto excelente. gracias por comentar
Nice! Did you also rebuild the ignition system with timing etc?
No , its plug and play . I just plugged in the Ignitech. They had already configured it for the Transalp 650
