    Great upload & sound. The onboard shots of the Jordan show how much understeer it seems to have.

    2020 - Brundle is an underrated F1 driver...

      @@firingoneight3088 He had an awful accident were his feet were smashed. And he lost sensitivity in his feet therafter. Very hard to drive a F1 when you can't feel exactly how hard you are braking.

      @@viro3976 That story is related to Johnny Herbert whom crashed at an F3000-race at Brands Hatch in 1988.
      Brundle indeed had a big shunt at Dallas in 1984 but the feet story was Herbert's one. Brundle's injuries resulted in him not being able to run and left-foot braking.
      EDIT: to clarify a bit more. The story became big when Herbert joined Benetton and some people thought it was very irresponsible to let him drive an F1 car without completely feeling the brake pedal.

    I’m in the minority I’m sure….but I really like the Jordan 196. The car had a really nice shape to it

      I always liked the gold B&H livery too. More striking than the yellow.

    Weird to think that he was driving so recently, and for such prestigious teams. I always just imagined he was a random backmarker in the 80’s or something lol

      @VideoNarstee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Indeed! A shame he was never with said prestigious team's when they were at there best. He had a chance to drive for Sauber at the 1997 British GP, but turned it down as he wouldn't have been able to test the car prior to the race weekend.

      it’s a shame he had that accident early on. he was great in f1 but he never really fulfilled his potential
      but he was soooo good in sports cars and other disciplines tbh

      @@perspii2808I think it would have been good if Benetton signed him beyond 92. He would have been a solid number 2 to Michael Schumacher. He would have won multiple grand prix & Benetton would have nabbed more than one constructors crown.

    The problem about the F1 Eurosport commentators in the 90s is that they never knew when to shut up. They talked too much bla bla bla...tv viewers wanted to hear the raw onboard engine sound, not constant chitchat.

      Exactly, no respect whatsoever.. A far cry from Fox commentators at that time who would always stop talking with onboard cameras..
