I watched this video in 2024. I didn't realize it was 3 years old when I watched it. It doesn't really matter because you are my new HERO!! The way you utilized all of your space is amazing. I would love to see an updated tour to see what you've changed and made better. It's so inspirational. All the "fancy" and "spacious" craft rooms are ok, but those are not reality. Those types of rooms don't help people with real lives and real homes and honest space issues to figure out how to organize their stuff. You've done it beautifully. What an inspiration!!
I have pretty much the same set up now, apart from having moved a few bits on the shelves.
I now also have an overflow craft wardrobe in my bedroom for when I buy 100 of something when I only need 10😁
It may be time for a new tour, as I didn't realise it was that long ago either.

It does look cosy and it's a change from seeing craft rooms in the states that are bigger than my house lol

I thought you did a fabulous job filming your teeny, weeny, craft closet. Wow you weren't kidding about the size, but I am so impressed with how well you have set it up. I am blessed to have a large area, but sometimes I think smaller would be better. I love now being able to mentally visualize where you are when you create.
Absolutely love your tiny space. I put bed risers under my bed legs. That gave me more room for some storage bins to store extra supplies and seasonal supplies. Yes. Would absolutely love to see another craft room video. Thanks for sharing

I know that this video is a few years old now but I think you still live there? You are super woman to create the quality and quantity of what you do! I super love your videos and yes my clothes closet is bigger. But then I am a lot older too. Still I feel that I should be more productive because of all the space I have but honestly, the more space, the more you need to tidy because we mess up and fill up the space available! Still you create so many beautiful things…I am actually proud of you!! And you do it with such good humor…no wonder we love you so much!!💕💕

I love what you have done with your room…my space is larger than yours but still small…and I am thankful everyday for my space…its mine and I love it….I feel blessed. But what’s the best is what you create from your space and it goes out and to so many people and they are blessed. I am when I watch your videos. Thank you!

My partner at the time and i cleared the cash from every machine in Blackpool for a full week😅🤣 the next time we wnet back there were no more Tetris machines paying out cash😘🤗💜

This is the smallest house i've ever lived in and it isn't the smallest 3 bedroom house on this housing estate. We'll all be living in Tiny houses on wheels eventually over here😅🤗💜

Julie this has been a total relief for me. I’ve just had two little girls from Greece who came with their gran to a crafting session. I think they were gobsmacked at the amount of stuff I’ve collected over two years. I’ve been binge watching your videos to teach on a voluntary basis and I was feeling guilty of having to much stuff. I now know that, once I’m organised 😏 I’ll have “just enough” lol! 🤣🤣 thanks for all your inspiration and laughs xx
Your amazing my friend!! Believe it or not, my husband took over my craft room for his office. So I took over our dining room!!!🤣. We only use it for holidays so I thought, why waste all of this space?!?!? Even so, I still tend to work on a tiny section of the table and put all my stuff around me!!😜🤣It makes me a “happy bunny”!!!

Thanks Anita 😊 Yes it's small, but i'm still lucky to have a craft room at all. I remember the days of crafting in the living room. I had storage boxes stacked behind the sofa and a sideboard full of craft supplies 😁🤗💜

I fell down in my craft room once. Gary could not help me up without hurting me. He called 911. 4 huge guys came in to help from the ambulance. They stood there looking around with their mouths open. One of them said, wow! That’s a lot of stuff! Another one said. Look! It’s all labeled and organized! The other one said my wife would LOVE this place. I said give her my number she could come over and craft with me. He said oh no! She is never coming here! She would want to buy all this stuff! We all laughed. I was fine. They left. Lol hugs, treen 💜💜💜💜

You have made the most if a very small room! Amazing!!!! I am only 5'2" tall, and I use a grabber to reach all the stuff up high in my cupboards. They are great ! Thanks for the tiny tour 🥰🥰
Glad you enjoyed the 'tour' Kimberly😊 I'm was 5'11 ore shrinkage. Abou 5'9 now, so I use a grabber to reach stuff on the floor😅

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns As an aside, I love to read and had a small apartment when I first lived on my own out of college. I started collecting miniature books so I could have more in a small space. Now I have nearly 2000 of them! 🥰
I'm trying to organize. Started with my stamps. I have so many I don't know what I have. So, I stamped every one of them on paper to put in a binder. I love how you have everything labeled. I always think I'll remember what's in that drawer but I never do. You inspired me to keep on organizing. Thank you for that.

What wonderful organization you have there. When I see you working on your videos I think you have things more messy than you do. But you really are a very neat and organized person with everything labeled. I have a big craft room because it used to be my bedroom. I can't sleep in a bed anymore so I bought a really great recliner and turn my bedroom into a craft room my grandson built me a really large bookshelf but I don't have all the containers that you do to store stuff most of mine are just recycled from food products. I don't have a TH-cam channel so I don't have a outlet to make money to do this only occasionally so I cannot justify putting a lot of money and my storage things. But so far it's working for me. I really admire your room and how well you keep it

Oh I'm a strange one. I aspire to be super organised and achieve it 75% of the time. The other 25% is the complete chaos of all the things I get out and don't put away😅
I'm like, if I can't do it properly I don't do it at all😐 then it takes all weekend to tidy. Guess I love tidying😅

You do craft in a closet. I live in a one bedroom and I sleep in the living room and the bedroom is storage and craft table. I did not realize how much room I had until this craft room tour. Best to you.

These are what pass as third bedrooms in UK new builds these days. My daughter moved out of it at 12 as she was too tall for the only bed we could fit in it😘 It's cosy and compact😁🤗💜
It might be tiny but it’s wonderful! You’ve got a great space! I love when all my important tools are close around. Also, with a small space, it makes me more mindful what I bring into it. Thanks for sharing your room!

I stumbled on this Craft Room Tour Julie simply because I love to watch you ... I feel like we are so very much alike. I have just moved "my stuff" from one area of my house (trying to make the room more presentable) to an area kinda' like yours! Was so excited to see how you did get all "your stuff" in such a small space. My space is also limited but I am gonna' stack like you did, or may I say try to. Love the way you teach/explain your design techniques for all to enjoy. Wish I had a Gertrude, but don't know if I should get one or not. Have been thinking about it tho' ~~~ Gotta' go watch more instructions on how to the things you do! and to work on my cozy craft room space some more. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 i ❤ "organized chaos" ...

I broke out in laughter when you said it's a cupboard for you in the US and I am in the US and was actually thinking that exact thing. You do a wonderful job having everything organized and all that you do with your space. I have just started tuning into your channel about 2-3 weeks ago and ABSOLUTELY enjoy you so much. This is an amazing use of space! I also have a small room and 2 doubles. I have a boy and a girl though so he is in the tiny room and she got one of the doubles.

Im slowly making my way through the vids... OH Love, this is gorgeous... what a beautiful peaceful little space.... Oh id be sooo happy in there too, and btw... you did a fab job filmin.... absolutely great...no motion sickness... not at all... giggles.... Oh love.. Thanks for sharing, Im inspired to get mine organized for once and for all... I see so many good ideas... biggest hugs, and much love. xx My space isnt much bigger, its the southern third of my bedroom... yikes... so its hard to get it perfect.
I have a paper crafting area about that same size. It’s cozy. Everything is close and within reach. The only thing I wish I had was a bigger table space. I do keep sewing stuff in a different room. I need to label my storage because I never remember what I’ve got. The bonus to that is when I start looking into those storage bins I find all kinds of stuff I forgot I had. It’s like shopping without spending more money. My biggest frustration is paper scraps tucked in everywhere. I think I must set a limit for the amount of time I keep paper I never use. It’s a fire hazard! 😉
It's a fabulous size really isn't it. Like you say everything is at hand.
There are still plenty of hidden drawers and a double wardrobe full of unlabelled boxes in my bedroom. So I totally know what you mean about shopping your own stuff and finding things you didn't know you had😁
Yes yes I would love more table space, been planning to get a standing desk on the right for over a year, but as yet it hasn't happened.

Dear Camila, I just found you and just let me say Bravo! I had my crafting supplies in 2 small totes for over 20 years! My craft room was a very tiny closet 2' X 4' ! I did most of my crafting on our kitchen table! We recently renovated our Dungeon ( basement!) Into my
Sewing/Quilting/Scrappbooking Studio! I had been in an upstairs bedroom for the previous 10 years! I just love the fact that I can breathe now! I know that I have way to much stuff especially since I hoard cardboard boxes like a Dragon Lady with her Gold!!! I was only wondering last night, if you'd done a craft room tour! And here it is! My craft room is a tiny bit bigger, but just as stuffed! (Can't get the big shot in or the sewing machine in anywhere) A lot of my stuff is on wheels so gets pushed out into the hall. Printer is always in the hall. I have a granny grabber too, very useful... I'd like a closer look at your camera set up. I have the stuff, (I think) but still can't put it together and make it work! Thank you for the tour, keep up with the great crafty stuff you share with us!

Absolutely love the way you've used every inch of space. I had the exact same issue when I moved into my place, there is no storage space whatsoever... we have no cupboards, nothing! Theres 4 of us here and they converted this house from a 3 bed to a 4 to accommodate us (i'm disabled so need a ground floor bedroom) so although my kitchen is nice and big (they did an extension to the back of the house which added space to the kitchen) the rest of the house has no storage and is quite compact... its actually why I came looking for this video; was watching another and you mentioned about how tiny your crafting space was. Glad Ive watched this, Im not lucky enough to have a separate craft room but have managed to organise my bedroom so that I have a decent size desk and one of those billy book cases, i've got shallow short bookcases along the back of my desk which means i'm utilising some of the wall space, but you've inspired me that I can keep going up haha. Im pretty new to junk journaling but already things are turning to chaos so definitely need to get more storage boxes and get everything labeled. Do you have any recommendations on where to buy the pretty decorative boxes? :)

Julie I have said before how much I enjoy your channel which I have only recently found. Today is our ‘bank holiday’ weekend and I have spent last night and today(sort of doing an autumn garden clean up but every time I come in for a cuppa I stop and watch a bit more of your videos. I’ve now started at the beginning of your crafting journey and found this one about your craft room. Thank goodness someone else has a small space like me and from this space you are so happy sounding and make amazingly creative things. Did I hear correctly that you said you had your twins at 14 and your on your own? I am too and raised my three boys a lot of the time on my own but a lot older than you. I take my hat off to you Julie , your a true survivor. Your accent is very much like the area I came from in the North before we emigrated to New Zealand when I was 9 - 60 years ago and it makes me homesick hearing it as it reminds me of my lovely aunties who are now all dead and I never got to see again. Your a comfort and an inspiration Julie. Please don’t ever give up your channel.

My craft room is like a tardis. Having the desk under the window and my back to the door makes it feel much larger than it is. But this is what passes for a third bedroom in modern UK houses, the need to be able to actually fit a bed in it is not a priority. But as they say, everything happens for a reason, if it were bigger one of the girls would be in it and i wouldn't have a craft room at all.
I'm from Rotherham and now live in Sheffield, but i have lived in Barnsley for a few years.

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Rotherham OMG no wonder you sound like my grandma and aunts, and my Mum as my Grandma’s family came from there and she ran a boarding house there after granddad came back from WW1 with shrapnel and mustard gas poisoning and could never work again so they bought a boarding house to make an income. They sold up and moved to Blackpool just before WW11 when they reached retirement age and my Mum met Dad at the tower ballroom in Blackpool… that is an amazing coincidence but really you have that self depreciating humour and bluntness that I love hearing. I must see if I can find the street where they lived - I know I have it somewhere amongst all the boxes of memorabilia I brought home when my parents died… I live in a house over 100 years old so bedrooms are huge but modern ones have small bedrooms here too unless your a millionaire! I think the. It’s space you have the more mess you make so good to have a cosy nook to work in. Hope you had a good weekend. Cheers Lynne NZ

My husband says I try to stuff 20 lbs. of flour into a 5 lb. sack with all that I get in my craft room 😅 Constantly organizing… but like Em Morris said, “Tidying up really is creating. Creating space to create.” 💕 I am red faced to say my craft area is (a stuffed!!!) 12x11 😬
Bottom line… 6x6 or 12x11 our craft areas are our HaPpy places

😅😂🤣 It has it's advantages. The kids can't get in to bug me. The sound proofing is amazing with all the card ans paper lining the walls. when i forget things for my videos i can usually reach them without getting up. If it was big enough to use as a bedroom i wouldn't have a craft room.... But yes the builders were having a laugh when they called this a bedroom. My girls are tall and Rachel literally grew out of the room by 12😁🤗💜

I had a high school teacher that I loved. Her desk appeared to be a mess, but she was so delightful and she would just say: “I know where everything is!” And I’m sure you do too! The process of creating is such a gift! It just takes so much stuff to and flat surfaces to make it happen. Enjoy your tiny space. It’s all yours! 😊❤️

I turned my daughters bedroom into my craft room when she moved out, it’s 13X13 feet and I almost have to move around too much to get my supplies. I keep it open in the middle because I also use it as a play/craft room for my grandchildren and have a large cozy chair and antique school desk in it, so half of my supplies are organized in the closet which is on the opposite side of the room from my desks so I can be in front of the window and near the outlets. I often wish I was able to have things closer to me so I can just reach out and grab them. I also label everything, my label maker is one of my favorite things! Thank you sharing, that was fun to see where you create!

My craft room was my youngest son's bedroom it's much the same size as yours he was 6'6" when he was 14. He couldn't lay out straight in his bed, or find anywhere for his shoes as they're a size 16.
But you don't need a huge amount of space as long as you're organized and you certainly seem to be. 😊
I laughed when I saw your craftroom. Because it looks like mine. Every space occupied till the smallest corner. When I watch craftroom tours on TH-cam, the rooms are always big and very tidy. You are one of the few that don't have big space , but you make beautiful things in your tiny craftroom. I mostly sit in the livingroom at the dining table, with a lot of craft stuff around me. My husband always says, that the living room is getting more like the craftroom I have upstairs. Full of stuff. But he is also glad he has my company. So it doen't matter if you have a big room or a small one. You can craft nevertheless. My husband watched with me a part of your video now and he said that my craft room is a bit worser than yours. Ha, ha. I have two hobbies, crafting and quilting. So my fabric also has a place in that room.😂😂😂😂🤗🤗🙋♀
I'm just on the starring blocks with my crafting space, unfortunately I don't have a room I can dedicate to it, I have it all on the dining table and in 3 tiny drawers. I'm stunned how quickly it all accumulates! I'm hoping to someday have a room like yours :)
Stellar! I used to have a similar space and it was a tidy-as-you-go time in my life. I am fortunate enough now to have an embarrassingly large space to create in, and still find myself tidying as I go, most days. Tidying up really is creating. Creating space to create.
