Love your crafting area! I also keep threads off the edges of fabric I rip. Mine is in an antique canning jar and olive oil bottle. We all save interesting things.

I haven't written in a while, but today I felt inspired by seeing your craft supplies. You are so organized and know where everything is. Great use of space, Emily. I have so many things that need to be organized, too. You would think that I could have done some "weeding out" during Covid, but I enjoyed my time just crafting. Now I have those items fairly well organized and I still don't want to clean up the craft supplies. I guess just getting started is the most difficult part for me. I am so sorry to hear you had Covid. I guess you are doing ok now? It has been quite a year and a half to say the least. Let's hope and pray that this new strain of virus doesn't cause as much havoc as the first one. I know I couldn't wait to get my 2 vaccine shots. I feel much safer now.

I love all your vintage boxes & dishes , And You got STUFF. thank you for the tour this is exactly what I want to do with my Small minimum amount of STUFF in my craft room. It's on the basement. but I am bringing some of my fav's upstairs for my post surgery crafting. I LOVE all the dyed Paper. I just ran across your videos for the first time and I am in love!!! I would love to have a room like yours to spread out and do my crafting. I now share a small bedroom with my husband and we both have our computers in there. I am going to move him out of this room and put him in another room so I will have more room. I really love your use of antiques to store your supplies, etc. I see a trip coming on to the antique stores for some things also!!! My creative juices are flowing! I love your voice, it is so pleasant, and your laugh makes me smile! I can't wait to see more of the videos, especially the junk journals - they are fabulous!

Really enjoyed the tour. My craft room is similar. I LOVE wooden boxes and drawers. Have a collection of those Lane mini hope chests. Gave me some good ideas to further organize my supplies. And I’m always getting things at estate sales and yard sales. Scored a huge bag last week for $2 of extra buttons that come attached to clothing. Most were in little envelopes. 1 or 2 buttons and sometimes a piece of thread. The woman who owned them had even written a description of the clothing item they came with. Some were even in glassine envelopes. SCORE!

Oh wow, I love watching other people's room tour videos as I'm really nosey haha, I also like to get inspiration from others on how to organise things in my own room as well too. I LOVE your metal storage units. If I had room I'd be begging hubs to bring me some home from his unit too!! I forgot how big those things are, and the bonus is they're really strong too!!
Aww, your hubby is awesome making you a Lady, mine did the same with me for our 1st Wedding Anniversary 16yrs ago! My plot of land is also in Scotland, it's in a place called Glencairn 😊 prior to covid, lockdowns and travel restrictions, we go to Scotland every year for our wedding anniversary but we've never actually visited Glencairn yet!!!
Anyway...back to the room lol ... I love all your awesome vintage tins and boxes and ... well, everything really! I love it all!!!
I thought I had a problem saving my threads from sewing and from frayed materials etc but nope, it's apparently a very common thing to do, so now I don't feel too weird about it lol

I saw no dust 😊 ,,,,,a tad of crafters happy glitter in a beautiful huge creative space! I so want a typewriter. Does hubby sell vintage ones perchance? Great video. Fighting my procrastination on projects. Im addicted to the collecting, thrifting, procuring the rare & wonderful.

You don't have too much stuff. You do have a very large craft space! Most of us couldn't store that much. I have more paper and books -- not so much of everything else. I love how organized you are. I hope your covid leftover symptoms go away soon! I had it at the end of July 2021.

As long as nobody writes the date in the dust there’s no way to know when you last dusted. I would never assume a fellow crafter prioritizes free time for cleaning. That would be such a waste of crafting time!

This is NOT a criticism so plz don’t taken it as one but it is a question ? ?? How in the world do you start, work on, complete a journal with all those different containers, all that stuff to do a journal located in different areas???? I attempted to do journals, and have alway done some crafts just for pleasure, BUT trying to gather up all that stuff to do just one journal out of my Stuff was a struggle!!! And I get distracted (by dust or disorganization) get frustrated, my head starts spinning and I just kinda give up !! Seems like I spend more time hunting than I do enjoying crafting . 😢
Hi Susan! When I start a new project, I spend a day or so looking through everything and pulling out items that ‘match’ my theme/colors. It helps me remember what I have. When I’m finished with a project, everything gets put back where it belongs. It works for me, but I can understand your frustration. Many hugs!

Hi! Pretty much all of the pieces in my studio were found at estate sales and antique stores near me in southwest Ohio. I’m fairly certain the piece you’re referring to was an online estate sale find of my husband’s 🥰🥰

How on earth do you ever find anything to craft with? I would not be comfortable in there. Just way too much stuff for my taste. I like everything put away and labeled, but then it's your craft space.
I’m sorry that you felt the need to insult my craft space. Everything is put away, and most containers are labeled or see through. I know where everything is, so I don’t need labels on everything. And I am happy as a clam in my studio. It is my favorite place to be 😊
I certainly didn't mean to insult your craft space. I'm very sorry. I just said for me, it's too much stuff. I only have a small space, so I can't have everything out, but then I only do cards. Once again, I'm so very sorry if I have offended you. It was not my intention.
It's much more organized than my craft space and I consider myself a pretty organized person!
