Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have been able to use many of the feet that came with my machine thanks to you! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos!
Can't thank you enough for taking the time to do this, looking forward to more videos! I just got this machine and would love to see something about adjusting the tension and using different feet for varying fabric thicknesses.
I just got my Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 yesterday and I'm so happy someone made videos about this machine!! This specific video was a life saver when I found the binding foot, which was a great surprise (didn't realize I would get one - I've had a bad experience with double bias tape) so I'm a happy camper. Thanks Roxanne!! You just got a new fan :)
As I watch the videos over and over. I absorb more each time. I'm so grateful you did these videos. I'm sure you hear that often. It enables me to have confidence, creativity and enjoyment of sewing with this machine even more. I wanted to watch this binding foot video for the towels for the 9 week challenge and wondered if using this foot would work with the bottom of the towels. If so would I just wrap an end of the binding to the back and tack it down. Thank you
Roxanne, I have been able to complete this informative video. However, I cannot figure out how to turn a rounded corner or finishing the end points. Thank you for these videos. They are making it possible to learn very useful techniques.
I know these videos are old but they are amazing a true life saver! I just got the Singer 8060 for my birthday which I'm told is identical to the one u have. Im brand new to sewing and have no idea what anything is and your videos are just amazing.I hope u continue to make them.I have a quick question though I seen another different looking metal binding foot and it folds the fabric for you after its started. Is this the same? If I start it in the beginning and get it started once it starts pulling through will it continue to fold it like the other does? Or do I have to fold and press myself before hand
Hi Najassta! Congratulations on your new 8060! She's so pretty!! So glad you're finding my videos helpful. I still add videos on the use and operation of the Singer 9960 and will continue on. There are many feet that work well on this machine. I'm not sure which one you're referring too, but any low shank foot should work well. Happy Sewing!
@@RoxanneStitchesth-cam.com/video/-60q8CyOfEI/w-d-xo.html Im talking about this type of binding foot. See how it folds it as its sewing vs you using the tool that makes bias tape before. I was wondering if the Singer adjustable binding foot would work the same or If I have to male it first then sew it on
***** I have a new (2 mo old) quantum stylist 9960, and lately I'm having trouble with thread bunching underneath the fabric and I was told i need to clean the tension discs. Does it make sense??
Thanks so much for your videos. I ❤❤❤ my machine. I watched your videos before purchasing it and have enjoyed it ever since. I did not receive the value added accessories package with my machine. I contacted Singer and they said because I didn't purchase my machine through an authorized dealer (I purchased mine on Amazon), I had no recourse. Does anyone know where I can can purchase it along with the required "neck" for attaching the foot to my machine? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Hi! I'm so glad you've found my videos helpful! The bonus foot collection should have come with the machine from Amazon. Sounds like you got a returned machine? The shank/ankle for those special feet comes in that bonus package. It's white plastic. Call your vendor.
Has anyone tried using this foot on a curved edge? I'm starting a toaster cover project and it seems like it would be difficult to see through the foot to adjust the binding and keep it from bunching up going around the curves. Thanks!
Here we are 6 years later and your video tutorials are still needed by people like me. Thank you.
Hi Sharon. Yes!! It's funny to think back all those years ago that I just was trying something new and it blossomed into this!
Thank you for putting up this tutorial. I am encouraged to use the binding foot. 💐
You are so welcome!
I learned a lot of your tutorial video. I couldn’t known how to use this machine without you. Thank you so much
Hi Beth. You are so welcome! Glad you found it helpful.

Hi Jake! Thanks so much for the kind comment. Happy you find them helpful!!
thanks for this video - could have used that foot a week ago or so when I was making a bib - but there will be another opportunity.
Glad it was helpful!

You're welcome!
Very helpful video! Would have liked to have seen the back of the fabric and how well the back stitching aligns with the binding.

Could this foot be used to add a binding to a quilt or is there another attachment that could help with that??
Hi Kristen! Yes, you can.
Thank you! Can you pls do a video or a blog post on how to clean the tension discs?
Hi Keila! Not sure what you mean by tensions disks. Can you elaborate please? Thanks!
***** I have a new (2 mo old) quantum stylist 9960, and lately I'm having trouble with thread bunching underneath the fabric and I was told i need to clean the tension discs. Does it make sense??
Never heard of that before. Can you ask whoever told you that to tell you how to do that? Have you changed the needle?

Appreciate the videos. Looked all over for some tutorials. VERY disappointed nothing available from singer!!!
Thanks for sharing 🌞🤗
I noticed below someone asked if this foot could be used for quilts. I don't think I saw a response. Can it?
Yes it can.
My machine did not come with a white plastic ankle. What is a "value added package"? Where can I get one?
Melatina77 Can you call the vendor from where you purchased your machine and let them know? They should be able to help you.
My machine did not come with a binding foot and so I purchased one 😊

Using this foot takes practice. Going slowly and pulling gently around curves should help.
Thank you
