- Weekly Grocery Haul for our family of 12. Here is our meal plan for the week:
(We shop on Tuesday evening in Manhattan)
Wednesday: Chliaquiles, Dinner: Romanian Chicken Soup
Thursday: Hummus, Greek Salad, Pita Chips, Dinner: Quiche & Bread
Friday: Baked Potatoes w/ bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, Dinner: BBQ Chicken, Green Beans, Rainbow Pasta
Saturday: Sandwiches w/ juice, chips & grapes, Dinner: Bean Burritos
Sunday: Crockpot Chicken Quinoa Casserole, Dinner: Nachos
Monday: Tuna Melts, Dinner: Garbanzo Bean Soup & Bread
Tuesday: Burritos, Dinner: Costco Pizza, Rotisserie Chicken, other Costco snacks.
See what it takes to feed our family of 12 for a week! We go to Costco, Trader Joe's, and Lincoln Market. We bring Anna (11), Chloe (9), Enoch (7), Melody (4), and Moses (2).

I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to keep a house clean with 10 children while homeschooling, doing laundry, meals etc while being pregnant, plus having littles. There is no need to apologize, I sorry you feel you need to Amber. Thanks for another great shop along!

You and Mark do such a great job setting an example of involving your children in all aspects of their food. By including them and talking to them about the food that you're purchasing, they're learning so much. Then you extend that at home by including them in the food preparation. I did this with my kids when they were small and I really believe it set them up to be healthy, conscientious eaters. I think teaching a love and appreciation for good food is key. Teaching your kids how to do that on a budget is also an exceptional lesson. Thanks for showing people how it can be done! You folks are wonderful!

Trader Joe's Peppermint Bark is the best I've ever had ... white chocolate with candy cane pieces on top of dark chocolate. It's expensive, but a great treat when they have it! I look forward to it every year. Thank you for another fun video to watch. Less than a month until the new baby is here! 🙏❤

Aw, Your baby bump! I have baby fever even more now! Would love to have baby number 12. Our Costco has been out of carrots as well. Do your kids go to the food court while you are shopping? I would be nervous about sending them alone, but that's just me, haha! We bought those Calendars; they are too cute. "Pick out 10 of them, haha! I get that and just did the same thing. Your husband reminds me of my husband! My husband talks to everyone and makes friends everywhere he goes. I'm the introvert, and he is the extrovert, haha! Almost bought that big chocolate bar. Aw Thank You! Yes the chocolate bar is so good! I am always nervous about the food court but it’s right by the security area so that makes me feel better. They do a good job staying together which is my number one rule.

Love those Romaine lettuce packs! I get the same ones at Sam's Club and they last so long since they are still on the stem. Btw - do you have a name for baby yet? You can freeze basil and the herbs you’ve grown for winter like mint etc. put them in ice cube trays with water then when ready pop them out and put in ur recipes that’s what I do

Enjoyed the Video, Smarties are a very popular Lolly (candy) in Australia , we grew up with them very similar to a M&M only flatter, chocolate with a hard coloured coating 😊
Whenever I buy persimmons I make cookies. Persimmon cookies are the bomb. My 3 teens still at home get so excited when I make them. Give it a try, bet you love them.

You put 225 ML of tea, one pump of sugar, One .4 OZ’s of that passion fruit, fill glass or container with ice and shake for one min. Put into drinking glass but if you want the real treat add boba , bursting boba”s , and enjoy. Yummy.

You can make presto with almonds instead. Much less expensive.
Or sunflowers!! I use sunflower seeds when a certain friend has it with me because she's allergic to pinenut 😅
Yes! I’ve seen it made with walnuts too!
I'm allergic to Pine Nuts, Walnuts, Almonds, Cashews, and Hazelnuts so I've used pecans for my pesto and it was delicious! I want to try roasting them first sometime but sunflower seeds seem interesting too!
