Nice video. Step bits make short work of those mounting holes. Def go with grade 5 or 8 bolts. This is on my list.

Looks great. Looking to do same on mine, Suggest grade 8 bolts and maybe glue some blue board insulation to bottom above tire for vibration and chatter dampening. Will see.

I see that it centers the tire which it should. My rv has the gas black pipe run right down the middle. Can this be setup to where the tire is centered on either side of pipe?

What is the distance, from the top of the tire to the bottom of the trailer? Or from the hideaspare to the bottom of the trailer.
Our trailer has the same under belly as yours. However, I’m wanting to mount a honey wagon, that’s about 14” -15” tall, on this.
Wondering if I should get the unit for enclosed underbelly.
our trailer has a 10" frame, and the rails sit approx 3-4" below the frame. That being said, 14-15" may be a tight fit, the model for the enclosed underbelly sits considerably lower, so low on ours it wasnt really usable mounted where it was suppse to be. although if you had to go that route I would suggest adding a small peice of tube steel between the mounting bracket and the bottom of the I of the frame as that is where all the weight sits on the frame. That way you could adjust the height to right where you would need it. I hope that helps, I do love our hide a spare though., thanks for watching

Why does the music have to be so goddamn loud?
Unfortunately, audio levels and pitch vary greatly from one device to another with youtube much like commercials on TV are often much louder than programs. I wish we had more control when it comes to audio. I hope you still found the video both useful and helpful.best regards.
