Seems like a lot of barbers have bad habits when it comes to beard trims best way to trim a beard is where it naturally sits so that way the beard holds better shape for longer in my opinion
It pays to remember he has to live with the beard, and routine trimming is necessary, removing some of the bulk from underneath gives better movement when wearing a collar etc. Dave's beard is extremely hard to cut, it is basically the same texture, porosity and elasticity as head hair. Its very very unique and grows extremely quick
@@davebanks7406 I just didn't think the trim at this stage was necessary and didn't look better than what he started out with. He basically had the same length, so it wasn't a collar issue. I just see so many guys with scrappy, thin beards who would give their eye teeth to have a beard like that, who would live with a little collar problem to have that stunning of a beard.
Always jealous of these straight beards lol My chin curls under at the moment at 3 months so it looks like my neck has nice growth while I trim just the chin lol Can’t wait for a few more months and hopefully its long enough to where it won’t curl under
10:26 he's going to regret that. it turns a 'viking' beard into a manicured 'triangle' shape. You almost have to take the beard off and start again to get that growth back.
Honestly, it grows out so fast - it was kinda pulled much straighter than it is normally when it was cut, but once washed and dried it looks much more natural again
I look like a hobo... For real.. It's easy to get lost in the beard... It becomes a new friend that has been with you through everything the last year... I haven't seen my face in over a year.. I never used to like beards.. My brother turned me into them .at the time he could barely grow one.. He had the worst case of patchy beard I have ever seen.. But he's definitely proven that not everyone grows a beard in their 20s...because the difference between the beard he can grow now compared to 2 years ago is like night and day.. I never had an a problem with growing one.. I was probably the first person in junior high to grow a pencil beard before it caught on.. Back when only black men could pull it off.. But it caught on.. My brothers were notorious for letting their peach fuzz grow while I shaved mine constantly.. I had a couple of scars on my chin.. But they usually cover up fast
Wow the Before beard was SO MUCH better than After. What a shame - he also looks disappointed. It was not boxy or anything just...less beard. What a shame.
You guys lost me at the "hedge trimming" part. Nice work, other than that. I just prefer to work the wild hairs out with conditioning, rather than cutting.
That is one of most coolest, silkiest, milkiest, radiant beards of all times. You might actually be from "Medieval Times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
@Evo Shift Your ignorance is laughable. Its an opinion, do you know what that is? There's no proper "shape" to a beard. You groom & style it to YOUR OWN preference. This particular clients beard looked good the way it was as a "natural look" & it looked more dense. After trim it looked less full & unnatural. But then again, that's my opinion.
Good beard, a little thin on the inside, but has a great shape and symmetry. The haircut is awesome, but I dont like the trim. Beard looks kinda slapped onto his face after the cut, the natural inside wave made it look denser and more fitting to his head shape.
This is the beard all men want, I feel jealous
Me too :'(
Me too mate but I have black hair so it cant be.
It g t
I have it muahahaha
@@SimonWoodburyForget true 😂 or a nice Döner
Holy cow...10/10 beard! I'm not jealous, you're jealous shut up
Thanks 😬 I’m dead lucky
Dave Clee oh wow you’re real!!??
RexakonGaming of course

Hi.
Dave G 😎
Dave Squared!
Wish I had his beard. 😂
From thick to thin beard. Looked better before to me.
More like a Ps2 graphics beard 😂
Mate it looks awesome before and after
Personally I think shape > volume. If you have the thickness, you can really neaten it up so it looks super aesthetic.
I don’t know, I would have left the beard as it was before.
He also.
damn! glorious beard!
That luxurious beard.
Pretty great, eh?
- Jack
Seems like a lot of barbers have bad habits when it comes to beard trims best way to trim a beard is where it naturally sits so that way the beard holds better shape for longer in my opinion
Wow...I thought the beard was perfection and looked better before the trim.
Swear down I thought the same

Majestic ass beard. Damn.
You cant grow another man's beard..Rock with what you have🤝 no matter wat short, patchy or curly,a beard is a beard🥰
beard was way better and bulky before. now it's in the shape of those cardboard christmas beards which you can put on...
Always jealous of these straight beards lol

Blow dry and comb it!!! 🤙
I wouldn't of touched that beard. It's awesome rounded.
A lot of men forgetting that beards are meant to be liked by the owner not by commenters on TH-cam.
how's his beard so straight? does it just grow like that? perfecf shape 10/10 hands down
David Millis just grows like that man, lucky with my genes I guess!
@@daveclee2325 your a viking
Beards like this are usually genetic.
No he’s Anglo Saxon warrior
Awesome beard and mustache! Personally wouldn't have trimmed it at all. Just needed beard balm. BUT.....After pic looks good too.
What’s he really doing other than just dabbing haphazardly at that beard with the clippers? Not even using a comb...
why do beards always look better before the cut?
Some people like a completely natural look others like with more lines in it
Because they shouldnt be cut.
@Evo Shift yours is stupid as well^^ its a matter of what you like and what you dont
@Evo Shift I don't know if u are blind but that beard looked way much more better before the cut.
"I bet you eat this m8" hahah. I know the pain of that all too well, but if you want a nice burly stach you have to let it grow!
Stunning beard. If I had his growth I would never shave, not even trim the mostache. Just let it flow forever.
Looks sweet before and after but if a beard already looks pretty tame it should just be left alone
That is probably one of the best beards I have ever seen… Especially the mustache however I have to admit I liked it better before.
I also have ginger beard, how long would it take to became like this, I'm 2 months long
10:26 he's going to regret that. it turns a 'viking' beard into a manicured 'triangle' shape. You almost have to take the beard off and start again to get that growth back.

@@daveclee2325 Mate tell me please, is your beard naturally that straight? It looks awesome
Neon Flamingo it is, well, at the start is pretty natural anyway!
His beard is so awesome.
Don’t you dare touch that mustache!! 😂
Ray Allen honestly it’s such a ball ache trying to get it ‘right’
he have some great hair . what a beard glorious
That beard was definitely glorious!

Calisthenics Amine damn foreigners.
How could someone possible dislike this video???
Poor cut. looked too thin by the end.
Some fuckin beard dude ! Fair play to ya
Nooo he ruined the glorious Beard!!
My beard is very similar to this one, I agree I don't think the trim was done very well

these guys always have good haircuts but their clothing and body frames need a trim
🤔
Yeah wtf
This is a relevant comment.
The peaky blinders pictures. 👌👌👌👌🔥🔥🔥
✌️Hand painted in oil, we sell them for a local artist. Very reasonably priced as well
"Drinking coffee is the worst"
Yeah I hear ya mate... It gets all in the mustache and drips quite a bit
Great genetics, i hope your children looks like you.
never let that gifted beard by Odin vanish in time, bud.
Dave looked like a sweetheart in the beginning 🤣
that beard looked better round imo
Wow the Before beard was SO MUCH better than After. What a shame - he also looks disappointed. It was not boxy or anything just...less beard. What a shame.
Before was better
That is one hell of a beard, my dude
Because vikings went to the barbershop, yes...
You guys lost me at the "hedge trimming" part. Nice work, other than that. I just prefer to work the wild hairs out with conditioning, rather than cutting.
Bless that beard I envy it lol very cool sadly mine has more patches then an Afghan road post bush presidency
Dudes, they have mugs and steins with stache guards for drinking. check out Ebay or google them. I see lots of "your fathers mustache" on ebay.

Garth Leadon right 😏 I’m just a lucky guy really!
@@daveclee2325 A beard like yours shouldn't be cut or trimmed.
Pascal Brander Lund you gotta trim it to keep it in shape though, it would be awful if I never cut it

I am 25 years old and i cannot grow a beard, but man beards are awesome lol One day i will be majestic as this man in this video.

Like many beard trims before looked better and more rugged
Those are terrible video transitions. the video editor doesn't know what's he's doing.

Nice beard although I personally couldn’t have that much hair around my lips. I wanna be able to eat without having to worry about swallowing hair.
keith Morgan I use moustach wax to shape my stache so I do not have to eat my moustache hair.
Looks practically identical 😂
Great cut dave
So jealous of his beard
This guy looks like Czar Nicholas II .
His beard is literally perfect before the trim
Imo, clients beard looked better before trim.

Keep in mind that beards often take a while to "settle in" after a trim.

Amazing beard and superb mustache . Great cut too
Vikings beard is gorgeous and badass
Hi, can you recommend a good barbershop in New York for a viking style beard and haircut ?
Good beard, a little thin on the inside, but has a great shape and symmetry. The haircut is awesome, but I dont like the trim. Beard looks kinda slapped onto his face after the cut, the natural inside wave made it look denser and more fitting to his head shape.
Why does he look like Vinheteiro??
Awesome beard n stache !!
The pre-styled beard looking nicer. Just needed cleaning up of the neckline. Very nice beard.
It's kinda cool listening to the barber humming at 1:09

Yeaaaahhhh mate that’s a cracking beardo there 👌🏼
8:33 Tip to fellow beardgrowers. The beard will grow slower if you make that kind of sounds with your mouth
Why am i even watching this?
