Audit The Audit i have a suggestion. The way you narrate law it will be a great idea if you move around with videos educating the police force in US since the top guys don't have time or don't wanna watch all these videos and use them for further training purpose.

Big Steve then thats a big problem because a lot of people are killed or jailed for no reason.
Being a government work doesn't give you the immunity of not being harassed or killed by the same police. Example Tatiana was killed and the police officer didn't even have time to seen her.

I once asked a cop his opinion on body cams. He said he didn't like the idea of them (Davie Florida PD still does not have them to this day.) because it limits their discretion.
His example was "If I pulled the mayor over for drunk driver, I would be forced to arrest him." I kind of just stared at him dumbstruck. That's a real shitty example to come up with.

A dashcam saved me from charges when a police car fired into me from behind. The officer claimed I cut him off and brake harshly to take a slip road, causing him to drive into the back of me. The GPS log from my dashcam showed i had been doing a constant 60-65mph, (under the speed limit for the road) for at least 5 minutes before the incident. And the rear facing camera showed him joning traffic behind me at the previous slip road.
But the thing that screwed it up for him, was the fact you could clearly see he was using his mobile phone as he hit me🤣 Result was a driving ban and suspension for him, and a compensation cheque for me.

Bring every documentation you can get your hands on to prove your innocence. If you feel like you may not need it, bring it anyway. Point out the negative behavior of the police officer. Don't let them get away with it. Notated any patterns if you're stopped repeatedly. "Giving a warning" only let's the officer get away with it and let's him tell his buddies the next time her sees you or someone else like you. 👍know your rights. I heard a while back that the #1 stops on the road, are Blondes driving sports cars. He saw an attractive woman and just wanted to stop her, didn't have anything else to do or know how else he would get to talk to her. The fact that he jumped on the seat belt thing, the moment she started explaining that, even though he was facing her when he initially passed her, only solidifies that belief. Learn how to talk to women in your free time and stop pulling us over for nothing.

@Marcus Tulius Cicero Evidence must be submitted to the court for presntation and the judge determines whether or not it can be entered into evidence. So the prosecution can build a case and the defending lawyer can build a defence. Case in point a few years ago a guy was charged with criminal damage and public intoxicaton, one of the witnesses pulled out his cell phone to show evidence of the defendant being drunk in public and it was deemed a mistrial due to the correct channels for submission of evidence had not been followed.

@Marcus Tulius Cicero Prosecutors must provide the defendant copies of materials and evidence that the prosecution intends to use at trial. This process is called discovery, and continues from the time the case begins to the time of trial. A prosecutor has a continuing obligation to provide the defendant documents and other information which may reflect upon the case. A failure of the prosecutor to do so can expose the prosecutor to fines/sanctions by the court. Further, the prosecutor is required to provide the defense with evidence that may hurt his case, called exculpatory evidence. The same applies yo the defense as they must givr information or evidence intended to e used in court. Or it can be ruled inadmissible Didnt you ever watch, My Cousin Vinny?

He had actual yellow lights. If they were just warm halogens he would never have been pulled over. A lot of cars, even brand new 2021 models, still use halogens. I actually prefer halogens myself. But this guy didn't simply have warm halogens that look a little yellow. He had yellow bulbs. This of course has nothing to do with whether he should have been pulled over or not. @boooster101 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@William Hannay technically legal but only if their angle makes it unable to film anything outside of the car, including driver's window.
And if you are a cab / uber driver, it's also illegal if your passengers don't explicitely consent to be filmed.
privacy laws are extremely, absurdly strict here and our Constitutiona Court (VfGH) ruled that your interest to use the dashcam for evidential purposes does not supercede the constitutional rights to privacy.
Some guy tried to patent a "crash cam", a dashcam that activates on impact to ONLY record an accident. The patent was denied because it featured a button to manually activate it (for instance; someone runs towards your car and you fear that he might commit insurance fraud and the crashcam might not activate automatically)
Considering how much people are lying after accidents and how often you don't have witnesses or clear onesided evidence, it's (in my opinion) insanity.
      EDIT:
Technically speaking it is not illegal to HAVE a dashcam, only to have it running, meaning it is general not allowed as evidence in courts.
That being said, there are judges who will make exceptions and allow dashcam footage.
This can lead to the absurd scenario where you will get a fine for having a dash cam + order to remove it while also winning a civil court case because of it.
That's why all of it is absurdity and insanity. Just let guys have dashcams where the footage gets deleted after X hours, maybe even with the restriction of not using footage except as evidence in court.

It's insane!! The driver also made a mistake by rolling that back window down when the cop asked him to. I've learned through watching other videos like this, that this is a tactic used by cops in an attempt to fabricate "reasonable" suspicion during stops. The theory is that the two open windows creates a cross-draft, and the cop(s) could then "reasonably" claim that there's an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, thus giving them "probable cause" to search through the subject's vehicle. Knowing this is complete and utter bullshit, this ploy is obviously only so that the "reasonable suspicion" angle holds up in a court of law.

I think they just wanted to verify I wasn't drunk , which I had not been drinking at all. Trying to be helpful, I took off my seatbelt to be able to reach across to grab my registration and insurance card from the glove compartment of my pickup . Officer then said that he wasn't giving me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt , but to be more careful . I then told him I had taken off my seatbelt to grab the items out of the glove compartment . He was the usual level of upstanding officers I have always encountered in my life . I now know that I need to wait until asked for those documents as it could also look like I may be trying to grab a gun or hide something from the officers viewpoint . But I was in my early 20's ( 30 years ago) at the time and didn't really think about that stuff at the time .

@@ajflament8012 1st you can always ask to see the radars calibration sticker to make sure its be calibrated, forget if its a day or a week they last for... other thing is the guns are only calibrated +-5 MPH so 1 over would get tossed in court if you want to put in the time to fight it.. if they get you from the air, it isn't the cop pulling you over that got you it was someone in an airplane with a stopwatch and a clipboard with the calculations, measuring the time your car goes between the long yellow lines on the side of the road. In the US you have a right to meet your accuser and again the calibration thing for the stopwatch is funny and would get tossed... they hold 2 watches and click then at the same time to check to make sure they match lol ... just what i have heard maybe its old info or wrong but sounds right... its like if you get pulled over for window tint and dude doesn't have a meter he cant wright up the tint ticket without calling a buddy to bring the tint gun...

Pat downs are not legal steps for searching someones pocket/ID. 5th amendment is not Obstruction of justice when used, during detainment.
