IKR, I'm not gonna forgive Knets for saying that crop top isn't for a man, saying that Kai wearing crop top is ugly (refering to Tempo era). How dare they said that, now almost every Boy Group out there wearing crop top, and they didn't even react the same way they did to Kai. Kai is the blueprint wbk. As if they didn't knew that crop top is wore by man a long time ago before it's become girl thingy, just like heels. And fashion is genderless, I'm tired with this gender role shit tbh.
San was channeling Kai crop top in the latest Ateez video and I was there for it.
Also Baekhyun's face chain was such an influence too 😍

@@jadem2653 I think they mean recently. I'm not sure when Danger came out but as soon as Baekhyun wore this face chain during Obsession era all my other groups starting doing it too. Imagine my surprise when my other bias Bang Chan wore it and a few others only weeks or months after Obsession.

my first impression for this mv were the colors. kpop boy groups rlly love black/dark shades, so seeing yellow and bright red in their attire was so refreshing. i appreciate you going through some of them and the materials. i love them more now.

I definitely wanna see you do a video where you review the KaixGucci collection, love the ones I’ve seen so far, mostly casual and they look really comfy.
I have a love hate relationship with Kai‘s outfit. On one hand it’s super sexy, he looks immaculate and gorgeous in it and he’s basically oozing with confidence. On the other hand you can see in live performances that as soon as they finished the recording he was super self conscious and felt extremely uncomfortable wearing something so exposing and was constantly trying to cover up. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I don’t want Jongin wearing stuff that makes him insecure and uncomfortable in his own skin, I’d prefer if SM didn’t put him in something similar again.
Hi little edit: I didn’t mean to make this into an argument about wether he was forced to wear these outfits or not. The sole point of this comment was to clarify that, although this style of clothing is very much liked by fans, is it really worth it if he feels uncomfortable in them? Just wanted to voice out that I always wish for Jongin to feel comfortable, of course it’s possible that his viewpoint on revealing outfits has changed over time.
That's a very fair point! I guess when you're performing, you aren't thinking about your outfit or how much of you is on show but when you're stood around it's all you think about. I don't think he's been put in such a revealing outfit since but I could be wrong
well, the thing is that Kai has been showing skin for years, and not only showing a bit but literally having no shirt off, recently in his own solo album... i'm sure you've watched Mmm MV and also FILM video.
Kai, as well as other artists do have a voice, no one forces them to do it if they don't agree.
Also, you should remember there is KAI the artist-performer and Jongin the person. So even if he doesn't care or likes showing chest when he is Kai the performer, it doesn't mean that he would like to be walking around shirtless all day, just as they aren't 24 hrs a day wearing cool outstanding clothes, make up and hairstyles... it's not that they hate it but it's part of their artist/work part of them
When on stage Kai is very much okay with that outfit and even though Jongin is shy, he has said before that when the performance starts he doesn't care and that in general if and outfit enhances his performances/concept he will wear it
He even talked about it on Knowing Bros during Tempo era. He doesn't have a problem with being completely shirtless but the crop top really makes him awkward.
I think about that alot too.

They looked like they had just stepped off the runway. Like i literally have a whole folder of about 70 pics of them.
Then the golden disc awards 2017 those jackets looked really good.
