Color in film has existed for about a hundred years dude. It was rarely ever used prior to the 1950’s due to it being very expensive and only used it on major productions like Gone With the Wind and The Wizard of Oz.

I think the Wizard of Oz was the first major movie with color. But it didnt become common till the 50s because of the expense.
I actually think the Horses song is one of the catchier ones....lol
