      There is no bass and treble setting on Pioneer AVH-521EX. There is a much more powerful sound shaping tool called a graphic equalizer. Don't be afraid of it. It's easy to use. All 13 settings in the Equalizer are frequency adjustments. You can use them to make any given frequency a little louder or a little quieter as compared to other frequencies and without changing the volume of the other frequencies. The frequency adjustments are arranged like a piano keyboard with the low frequencies to the left and the high frequencies to the right.
      If you want more bass, I recommend the "S.Bass" preset. It will add a lot more bass into the music. If you want more treble, I recommend the "Natural" preset. It will roll off the bass, and add in more treble. If you are listening to a ball game or people talking, or an audio book, I recommend the "Vocal" Preset. You can see the presets here: th-cam.com/video/wANaU34VQ40/w-d-xo.html You can make your own adjustments too. Simply start with any EQ preset that sounds pretty good to you, and make your own adjustments from there. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/wANaU34VQ40/w-d-xo.html?t=98 The 50, 80 and 125, frequency bands are typically the bass frequencies. 3.15k, 5k, 8k, and 12.5kHz are typically the treble frequencies. With 13 frequency bands, that means you have 2 frequency adjustments inside any given octave across the typical human hearing range from 20Hz to 20kHz. The frequency adjustments are not designed to correspond with any particular instrument. Most instruments, for example a piano, or a guitar, can play frequencies across several of the EQ adjustments all at the same time. Many Pioneer receivers come with a 13 band Equalizer. I recommend to use the Equalizer built into your Pioneer receiver. You can find more videos on Pioneer's TH-cam Channel here: th-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics

      I recommend to press the Microprocessor Reset Button. You’ll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor Reset button. You didn't say what Pioneer receiver you have, so I can't tell you where you'll find the microprocessor reset button. Hey, I have a question not really related to the music category but I just installed mine today and I think I have everything figured out except for plugging my phone into it through the usb port to get my pictures and apps and stuff on it with with the android auto feature. But it says it wont work unless I'm parked and if it still doesn't work, try the parking break. So I tried park and parking break and it still wont recognize that I'm in park so I can't use the android auto feature 😭

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      To get past the first set up screen with Android Auto, you'll need to engage the vehicle's Parking Brake in an ON-OFF-ON operation. If you engage the parking brake and still can't get past the first Android Auto Setup Screen, your vehicle may have an incorrect connection for the receivers Green Parking Brake Wire. This is very difficult to answer. I don't know what vehicle you have, or what music you like, or what speakers and amplifiers you have. If you can provide a few more details about your system and music, maybe I can help. I have pioneer 300w speakers and a sub woofer, and I listen to metallica, how would I set my eq

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Please remember, this is your vehicle and your system. Use it the way you like best. To start setting things up, I recommend to stop your vehicle, put it in park and take your time to listen for a few minutes while you set things up. Begin by putting all of your audio settings to zero. I mean EQ, flat, bass boost to zero, Fader in the middle, make sure your subwoofer switched on , all speaker levels including subwoofer to zero, bass boost to zero, loudness is off. Set the listening position to Front Left or Front. You can see a video about adjusting all of these settings here: th-cam.com/video/RBviKk2cQCk/w-d-xo.html Now turn up the volume a little at a time and listen. Do you like what you are hearing? If you want more bass, you may be able to adjust the gain control on the subwoofer amplifier for a little more bottom. Next, start with the EQ setting Powerful. Listen for a few minutes. Do you like the way it sounds? Try the SuperBass setting. Do you like the way it sounds? Go through all the EQ presets and choose the one you like best. Now make small adjustments to the highs and lows. Listen for the changes. If you like what you're hearing that's good. If not, go back to the preset you like and start over. I recommend to start with the Powerful EQ preset and make small adjustments. The low frequencies are on the left. The high frequencies are on the right. You like metalica, they generally play music that is lower in the middle. That's way I recommended the Powerful EQ preset to start. How do you adjust bass and treble

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Most modern Pioneer receivers don't have a bass and treble setting. You can see the presets here in this Pioneer How To video: th-cam.com/video/hUAJPnvCMgc/w-d-xo.html You can make your own adjustments too. Simply start with any EQ preset that sounds pretty good to you, and make your own adjustments from there. The 50, 80 and 125, frequency bands are typically the bass frequencies. 3.15k, 5k, 8k, and 12.5kHz are typically the treble frequencies. If your Pioneer receiver works with the Pioneer Smart Sync App, you can use a bass, mid, and treble control from the app on your phone.
