thanks for these videos, just the kind of detail I was looking for :). I think you need to increase the audio level, you're voice is very quiet compared to other TH-cam videos

Very useful, thank you for the videos. The only thing is your voice sounds a bit on the lower side for me, I had to up my volume about twice as much as usual.

Sorry to say, but I think you've confused the input and output at 10:40 ish.
I mean the logic all makes sense, but I think the terms are jumbled up. The materials for the the energized plate would be the Input, as you are PUTTING IN or INPUTTING the materials into the machine. The Energized Plate itself is the output because it is what is PUT OUT or OUTPUT once the materials you put in have been turned into the Energized Plate itself.
Great videos though, they have been very helpful! :D

@winterwolf1250 I think this is not in line with how the registers work. The terms INPUT and OUTPUT do not refer to the machine but to its registers. The INPUT register of the Robotics Assembler holds the value of the item to be produced, which is the Energized Plate in this case. In other words, you tell the machine what you want it to produce, and that is your INPUT to the machine. The OUTPUT register holds the value of any missing resource, and this information is OUTPUT by the machine. You can link it to the INPUT register of another machine, and by doing so you instruct the other machine to produce the missing item. This is how input and output registers of machines work in this game, and I think there is nothing wrong with the explanation given in this video.
