    I'd worry about the hoses getting all tangled up but that's probably my anxiety talking. I think I'd prefer the freedom more having a tank on my back.

    looks like a blast...so is it a compressor so you can stay down as long as you want...eh

      Good question. It's actually a regular scuba tank, but floating so usually you can stay down about 45 minutes. 5 people share one tank and the guide keeps an eye on the O2 levels so when you run out of oxygen you have to resurface.

      Nope you can't. The rules of SCUBA that prevent you getting deadly bubbles in your blood still count, just as many other safety rules.

    heck ya...that would be awesome...how deep can you go?

      The line is about 15 feet long so with Snuba max depth is about 15 feet. With regular scuba diving, depending on your certification you can go deeper.

      Depends on how long a hose they supply. I’d love to have a rig with a surface compressor and a 75’ hose...

      And unless you have the proper training, you would kill yourself.......@@RoxnDox

    Do you have your own scuba gear like wetsuit and dive gloves and dive hood and dive boots and dive fins dive mask and scuba tank and bcd and regulator to breath from and breath underwater with dive buddy

      For scuba diving, I have my own personal gear (wetsuit, mask, boots etc) and usually rent a regulator, bcd, tank and weights :) For Snuba, they provide the regulator and you don't need a tank or BCD, you just use the weights and then swim to control buoyancy. It is up to you if you want to wear a wetsuit, depending how cold the water is, and they provided the masks for people who didn't have their own.

    What about people with asthma.... is this recommended ?

    • @JaclynFriedlander
      @JaclynFriedlander  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on how bad your asthma is, if it is well controlled and if it is exercise induced or not. You have to talk with a physical about if scuba diving/snuba would be dangerous for you personally.

    I cousin wants to do this but he’s not a good swimmer what do you think?

      I would recommend emailing info@snuba.com to ask that questions.

      not a good idea unless you dont like ?

    And this is how tourists are going to die. SCUBA requires a certification because it has some significant dangers without proper training. Snuba has those same dangers, but somehow that is allowed without training and certification.....?!?

      It doesn't seem that you go very deep. Definitely doesn’t require safety stops or too much decompression.
