I MUCH prefer the Pelagos 39 to the original. The original Pelagos is 14.4mm thick, almost 3mm thicker than the 39, and 3 mm longer than the 39. I prefer the bracelet as well. It's the best Tudor IMO. Winner of the 2023 Sports Watch of the Year.

Honestly impressed by anyone who can tell Tudors apart. There's the Pelagos and the Ranger - the two interesting Tudors (plus that weird one, the P01, which is great but basically an anomaly) - and then there's just this Black Bay Blob of barely differentiated tedium. Great video though!

Definitely good watches, but it must be quite depressing for anyone with a creative mind/spirit to work for them. Honestly, they make even Rolex look original and daring.. Hope they’ll branch out a bit - if Rolex will let them?

Hey Britt, I think if you reversed the rating order then you'd have this spot on - the P01 and Glamour models far outshine the exhaustive BB and Pelagos ranges Perhaps if the video reached 20 minutes long you might've corrected the error 😉
I REALLY WISH they didn't lump so much in to the "BB" category. I'd love it if BB's just stayed divers. The BB 31-41 should have a whole separate name. Same with the BB Pro. IDK, I just find the branding a bit... Confusing.
shouldnt the royal deserve some love for being a somewhat affordable tudor watch? sure for enthusiasts a in house movement is cooler but also much more expensive in price and service costs a base sellita movement keeps the price attractive and gets the job done
I put it to you the FXD is also S tier. It’s the perfect desk divers watch. It’s the best wearing 42mm on tiny wrists out there. It seems like when someone gets one the rest of the collection ends up getting neglected cos they just can’t get it off their wrists.
Their opaline Pepsi GMT has looked pretty stunning on my 8”wrist since Christmas (I know it’s 6542 pan am inspired, but I really with they’d used blue lume for that silvery dial & the t fit clasp is needed as you say)
After seeing all these watches together like this. The white panda 🐼 dial stands out so much. I would move that one up if it didn't where like a clunky slab.
The Glamour with the date day is really much nicer than I remember. I'll have to check it out. Wonder if it has a Kinessi movement...hmm. Probably spelled Kinessi wrong...oh well.
I quite like the Royal. I think it looks great, inspired by the Oysterquartz. The bezel is neat and I love how the two tone one with chocolate brown dial looks. I also like the Black Bay watches with gilt dials. The Glamour is also a good-looking watch that I prefer the look of over the 1926.
I think we're all assuming the bb58 will be updated soon. I'm holding my watch budget until that happens. But so help me God they better leave the red triangle!
Would love to see a review on the Clair De Rose! I’d like to get my daughter something along those lines no AD’s in my area carry them . I’m a self proclaimed Tudor fan boy and for the most part agree with the list. I have the 58, ranger and 1926. The ranger gets the most wrist time.
I love the clair de rose! I recently picked up the 26mm, and it is very dainty. The lug to lug is ~32mm, and I wear the bracelet a little bigger so moves (and shines bc its totally polished) I personally think the charm is how small it is and think it's awesome that its automatic. I tried on the 34mm liked that size significantly less because I think the proportions look way better small. I have a 6in wrist so definitely not tiny compared to some women but think it still looks super pretty!
Me, I had to have the chrono Panda,its heavy but I didn't notice till I wore it 5 days straight & switched. But its a good heavey,as you would expect. They're all beautiful but whatever suits you're needs is what looks best.
gutted you put the sublime opaline dial gmt so low, but you redeemed yourself with the pelagos 42...i am a tech diver and wear a peli 42.....ditched my omega seamaster for the peli, such better specs!
Britt I've gone off Tudor... reason? My 1861 Speedy. I'm in love with this watch. My only luxury watch and it's just the greatest... just saying... if anyone thinking of the new Speedy, I really recommend this older model. Tudor is okay... there is just nothing that really speaks to me.. maybe the FXD in blue... that's about it

Love this video. For me, ultimate is the black bay 41 burgundy with 5 link. Fits my wrist perfect. I don’t think I’d want anything smaller. They’re all gorgeous though.

I have a completely different opinion about the Glamour (Double Date!). It looks great, has an in-house movement, is relatively affordable, and fits almost any male wrist. The biggest criticism is the lack of micro-adjustment on the clasp. For me The Double Date is C-tier or even B-tier...
As pelagos LHD owner you got that right, as for most of the others on the chart im not so sure .. far too many very samey watches and over use of the "black bay" name even where it naturally doesn't fit. If tudor reduced it black bay range by 1/2 and then renamed some to not be black bays it would be advantageous to the company .
HOT TAKE: I love the Black Bay 58 bracelet/clasp. The T-Fit is cool (I have a Ranger, BB54, and BB58 bronze), but it feels a little oversized and kinda pulls the watch around on my wrist. The BB58 clasp is a little smaller/less bulky and sits better, imo.
Sad... you mentioned the S&G but didn't rank it. I have both the S&G black bezel/champagne dial and a 1926 Opaline 41mm... love them both. You should get your hands on a 1926... highly underrated watch. The contrast between the blues and the white waffle dial.......

I love watches that have simple and well balanced designs. No surprises my 39mm Explorer still is among my favorite watches seven years after I bought it. No wonder when I saw its steampunk version in the Tudor lineup I had to own one. I wish you would of featured the BB58 bronze 39mm with bronze bracelet in your video. Not only a boutique exclusive, so different than all the other BB58. With the T-fit d'ajustement it sure gets nous points. Maybe later in a video about the market offerings in bronze. TH-camrs and watch reviewers have been putting me off Tudor GMT for years. Almost all of them keep complaining how big and chunky it is. Because of that it took me 4 years to pull the trigger. I finally got it last year and it became by far the favorite watch in my collection. To the point I barely wear anything else. It's not too chunky, it's a perfectly proportional, beautiful watch. And it definitely deserves a higher rank :) If anything I would say BB Pro is not great cause it has thickness of GMT but much smaller case diameter which makes the proportions a bit off. BTW: Tudor Ranger is not a Rolex Explorer 1 equivalent, BB31/BB36/BB39/BB41 lineup is :)
Individual Tudor watches: Super nice, well made watches. Tudor as a brand: Literally everything's a black bay, a black bay with some numbers, or a black bay with different colors. Where's the variety??

Why nowadays only sub 40mm is desirable. I own BB chrono 41mm and gmt 41mm and their size is very fine. Nobody speaks about sizes of Rolex. Inb30 years of collecting I never bought a sub because it felt too small and too thin. But when sd43 and dssd JC I went running to the AD. I think size is a result of function of legibility. All my watches go from 41mm to 44mm and feel history and function dictates. Imagine a worldtimer is new fashionable 38mm it would be unreadable. I guess you will never do a video on Panerai. 😊
Always good fun - thanks. It is very subjective of course. The obsession with 39mm (ladies size 😅) and smaller watches isn’t something I look for. I have an 8” wrist and own several Tudors including the P01 and accept the larger pieces don’t suit all.

The Royal, Glamour, and Style: all F tier. They need something to compete as a dressy sports watch, a la Aqua Terra or OP. The BB41 is a bezel-less dive watch.

Isn't Tudor just a Rolex homage brand? Chunkier and cheaper, but relies on Rolex back catalogue? Isn't the brand a constant reminder that life hasn't worked out like you hoped for? The snowflake the kids version of the Mercedes hand? That blue looks nice, but why is everything called black bay?
North Flag 🤔 Modern Tudor with in first in house movement and a power reserve complication. Although discontinued, I believe this is a very cool watch …would be interesting to see where you would rank it…definitely could be considered for honourable mention
You should do ranking video for Moonphase watches. Or perhaps the small Japanese Brands, like Orient Star. You did for Swiss small brands, but where is the Japanese movement love?

That's not "ruthless ranking" Brit is it? IMHO you can't put a steel bracelet watch that costs thousands and comes with no bracelet adjustment above a C. Tudor are also clearly not allowed to do certain things, white dial "explorer" for instance.
I’ve really gone off Tudor lately. They’re just a bit too bland and that’s why sold my GMT. Any reaching S Tier is a little optimistic! The Tudor prices on the used market are very low so you can get a bargain.
I love Tudor as a brand and their designs but I cannot CANNOT stand the snowflake hands. It's very polarizing for me and I just can't get myself to buy a Tudor because of those hands 😢
Love the black bay chrono appearance wise. I don’t even bother asking my AD to get on the list for a Daytona 😂. But after wearing a few Daytonas, this piece just feels too chunky in comparison. If they slim it down, it’s a definite buy.

Mostly agree except for the black bay chrono. A chrono needs thin hands that maximise the legibility of the sub-dials

Thank you mademoiselle for this ranking. I agree with pretty much everything you've said. Strangely enough I purchased and received my first Tudor only 3 days ago.
I love watches that have simple and well balanced designs. No surprises my 39mm Explorer still is among my favorite watches seven years after I bought it. No wonder when I saw its steampunk version in the Tudor lineup I had to own one. I wish you would of featured the BB58 bronze 39mm with bronze bracelet in your video. Not only a boutique exclusive, so different than all the other BB58. With the T-fit d'ajustement it sure gets nous points.
Maybe later in a video about the market offerings in bronze. The warm tones for everyday and rough play.

TH-camrs and watch reviewers have been putting me off Tudor GMT for years. Almost all of them keep complaining how big and chunky it is. Because of that it took me 4 years to pull the trigger. I finally got it last year and it became by far the favorite watch in my collection. To the point I barely wear anything else. It's not too chunky, it's a perfectly proportional, beautiful watch. And it definitely deserves a higher rank :) If anything I would say BB Pro is not great cause it has thickness of GMT but much smaller case diameter which makes the proportions a bit off. BTW: Tudor Ranger is not a Rolex Explorer 1 equivalent, BB31/BB36/BB39/BB41 lineup is :)
Individual Tudor watches: Super nice, well made watches.
Tudor as a brand: Literally everything's a black bay, a black bay with some numbers, or a black bay with different colors. Where's the variety??
Britt, Great video. I have many watches, and a few Tudor. But in truth the only watch I would run into a burning house to save is my Tudor Ranger. But as you say watches are so personal.

Why nowadays only sub 40mm is desirable. I own BB chrono 41mm and gmt 41mm and their size is very fine. Nobody speaks about sizes of Rolex. Inb30 years of collecting I never bought a sub because it felt too small and too thin. But when sd43 and dssd JC I went running to the AD. I think size is a result of function of legibility. All my watches go from 41mm to 44mm and feel history and function dictates. Imagine a worldtimer is new fashionable 38mm it would be unreadable. I guess you will never do a video on Panerai. 😊
Always good fun - thanks. It is very subjective of course. The obsession with 39mm (ladies size 😅) and smaller watches isn’t something I look for. I have an 8” wrist and own several Tudors including the P01 and accept the larger pieces don’t suit all.
I think the Royale is spud ugly tbh, but that brown dial might tempt Watch Papi? 😂 Mind you I kinda love the PO1 so my taste might be called into question.......I'm still waiting for a Pelagos 39 in blue too ya Swiss numpties oh, and take the snoflakes off the Chrono while you're at it.......
Sort of a Tudor fan girl ranking honestly haha. So it seems very biased. Like do you take into account that some of them have Sellita movements possibly, that are just worth $200 internally? And they are priced 2000-4000$ with a 200$ movement? Its really A-tier etc? No, so thats why i mean its kind of a fan girl review heheh.

S tier is definitely BB58 and FXD for me. Pure Tudor vision of watches. Royal is way higher in my ranking than yours, so versatile (this is just because I own one).
Please Tudor, give us a blue Peli 39mm 🙏

The Royal, Glamour, and Style: all F tier. They need something to compete as a dressy sports watch, a la Aqua Terra or OP. The BB41 is a bezel-less dive watch.

Where is the BB Ceramic?
Isn't Tudor just a Rolex homage brand? Chunkier and cheaper, but relies on Rolex back catalogue? Isn't the brand a constant reminder that life hasn't worked out like you hoped for? The snowflake the kids version of the Mercedes hand? That blue looks nice, but why is everything called black bay?
North Flag 🤔 Modern Tudor with in first in house movement and a power reserve complication. Although discontinued, I believe this is a very cool watch …would be interesting to see where you would rank it…definitely could be considered for honourable mention
Including the latest BB monochrome released this year, so I count 7 Dive watches, 6 "Dress", 3 "GMT" and 1 Chrono = total 17.
You should do ranking video for Moonphase watches. Or perhaps the small Japanese Brands, like Orient Star. You did for Swiss small brands, but where is the Japanese movement love?

Sold the blue BB58 and burgundy BB41 heritage kept the P01 “Commando”, I only keep S level watches.
54 is definitely S tier. It’s their best watch
It’s sooooo boring. The 58 with the subtle pops of color kicks its ass and takes its lunch money. It isn’t close.

That's not "ruthless ranking" Brit is it? IMHO you can't put a steel bracelet watch that costs thousands and comes with no bracelet adjustment above a C.
Tudor are also clearly not allowed to do certain things, white dial "explorer" for instance.
I’ve really gone off Tudor lately. They’re just a bit too bland and that’s why sold my GMT. Any reaching S Tier is a little optimistic! The Tudor prices on the used market are very low so you can get a bargain.
I love Tudor as a brand and their designs but I cannot CANNOT stand the snowflake hands. It's very polarizing for me and I just can't get myself to buy a Tudor because of those hands 😢
Love the black bay chrono appearance wise. I don’t even bother asking my AD to get on the list for a Daytona 😂. But after wearing a few Daytonas, this piece just feels too chunky in comparison. If they slim it down, it’s a definite buy.
