Hey Dan and Alex! Our puppy used to be possessive of his bones too! He growled and "warning snapped" at my husband once while eating it.. What we did was feed him from our hands and then moved to putting our hands in his food bowl while he ate to show him we were not taking it, but he had to share if we wanted it. Then we would sit and pet him while he ate the bones and then we would move it around and almost play "fetch" with it lightly! Now he is to the point where he wants us to hold it while he eats! I don't know if you've tried the other methods, but wanted to share in case they could help you!
Tell Kyla she looks drop dead gorgeous with that hair, I literally just went "WOW"! Also did the same at 10:00, Alex is sooooo beautiful! I always get so happy whenever you upload and I'm SOOOOOO excited that you're doing vlogmas, I can't wait!
Is boo a mix of a golden retriever and something else? Because he has really small ears and has a black spot/birthmark on his nose and usually pure bred golden retrievers don’t have those stuff.
We had a mix golden retriever and he looked exactly like Boo from when he was a very young pup and this video. Aside from the ears, I also noticed that his fur is not as long. But still cute!
Awwww Boo reminds me my dog when he was young used to be excited always and enjoyable. So sad to tell now he’s 16years old having Alzheimer’s recognizing nothing. Please enjoy those days guys:) Time goes really fast 😞
We had a lot of snow a few weeks ago, it’s been so long since we had snow as we live in Louisiana. Both of my dogs saw snow for the first time, one of them didn’t like it that much but my other dog loved it.
This was the cutest video ever guys😭❤ first snow is always such an emotion! I miss it so much, I remember it used to snow a lot here in Italy when I was a little bean🙂 you always bring a smile on my face❤ and... I'm SO ready for vlogmas! Boo's very front teeth look like he already lost and replaced those with adult teeth too! My puppy is also losing her teeth right now and she's just lost the front most top and bottom two for now and she's like 2 weeks younger than Boo! Anyway, missed you guys' vlogs SO much but totally get it with bad internet and I am sure the mini internet break was fun for you, but excited for vlogmas and everything coming up :)
oh my goodness i cant believe how big boo is getting! it is so much fun being able to watch him grow with yall. Also i wanted to say that i LOVE alex's scarf and was curious to know what camera you use for your vlogs

When my dog got possessive over bones, she’s a Belgian Malinois so it was an interesting process! my husband and I would give her the bone and let me go at it, then we’d slowly start to put out hands on the bone, if she growled we would take it and tell her no, then give it back to her and try it again. I can now hold a bone while she eats it, stick my hands completely in her food bowl while she eats AND other people can reach for her bones with out her getting possessive!
For the pillow you could try and mix a bit of baking soda i hope or baking powder with water and let it for maybe 10min i heard of that for wine so maybe that could help
Love your video! Im not an expert but maybe Boo would like some doggie boots so his feet don’t get super cold! I know in the states some dogs paws could get burned because of how hot the concrete can get.
