I've been keeping my eye out for a bandit 400... Kinda rare these days in the states but I love the bike. In fact I ride a bandit 600 I streetfightered with custom paint and a little stripping of some bulky parts. I actually just got back 2 days ago from riding it from Winston-Salem NC to Chicago IL. About 1500 miles round trip and not one issue with the bike and it's almost 20 years old now. They're simply bullet proof the bandits.
The world must know that Indonesia has a remarkable talent,With simple equipment even on the roadside,They can create amazing works,With a simple budget to produce a classy work . thank you Racer tv.
You guys always suprise me. And today was this bike. I got a 1997 Yamaha Seca II and I'm working on a cafe racer project on it and thats possible thanks for all your advices in the videos. To be honest my bike look almost like this one but different gas tank. I definitely will change it because it's too big. But like always, thank you for sharing this awesome machines. Good job and God bless you guys.
robert alameda Thank you for your kindness. You are absolutely right. The Yamaha Seca II is very near of the Suzuki GSX 400. I'm glad by knowing that this video was helpful for you. Good Luck for your project. Cheers
I currently own a 92 GSF 400 Bandit, my very first bike and I'm never getting rid of it. That thing rides so smooth and easy. I'm one the lucky few. But I do want to know if the guy is making duplicate bikes. I seen this build a while back on youtube before I seen this video. And thank you Racer TV for recognizing the great work this guy has done. Sucks he lives outside the US :( but definitely the best investment I have ever made for $1400 such a steal.
It is a nice little project from some young guys having fun. You treated it well. I am very grateful. The rear suspension geometry looks a little dodgy though.
Thomas Elliott Thanks for your kind words. The main reason that made me choose this bike for this video, is the Builder's creativity with such a limited and modern bike. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
it appears that they achieve something I never thought was possible setting the Mikuni carburetors to actually perform especially with the air pods on them.. now that's an achievement ! :)))))
North Queensland Recreation I think there is some truth in that statement. And this bike can be a good example. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
Ankit Parashar Yes, for those who love 4 cylinders engines, it couldn't sound better. Unfortunately, this isn't my favorite sound. I like things that sound older. But i also understand the sensation of power, in the impressive sound of this Suzuki. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
Arifeen Hassan That was exactly my goal when i decided to make the video about this bike. Helping others discovering this interesting Suzuki for a project. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
PAPAOSA Thank you. I'm really sorry, but the voice ID is one of those secrets that i can't reveal. It took me a lot of time and research to find it. I hope you understand. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
+BUICA I think maybe is better to search them on google. Unfortunately, they are too much modern for a proper cafe racer look. But good luck my friend. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
+RACER TV no problem, always happy to share, I couldn't lay a finger on one though, a grey import like that just feels so special to me especially a limited edition
I think this bike would have been more beautiful if it was facing down. By this i mean, the rear of the bike should be high than the front. Rear suspensions should be lifted and the front forks height shortened
Captain Keem I understand your suggestion. It seems you like modern silhouettes. But i think this particular project needs a low rear profile to appear older than really is. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.
Is really nice this Suzuki. I like the whole concept but I miss the handlebar a little bit lower. Maybe is just the handle bar or maybe the front suspension is too high. What I think is it would be fucking sexy with that change
+MrTemplarious You're probably right, but still a very interesting project, with a very difficult donor bike. But thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
PROsec5 I don't see any problem with that. Just to get some inspiration, I recommend you to see on of my videos called Cafe Racer ( Ronin - Buell 1125 by Magpul) . Cheers.
Yeah, the original shape of the tank has a big cavity on the bottom for the air box but since there are airpods on this bike that space was used for the battery .
Fernando Leme Zaia It is missing some of the key features that define a cafe racer, especially the tail section, and it has a different design. Great special though!
bjorn puimege I understand your opinion. But sometimes i need to present different bikes/projects, just to expand possibilities. But thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
+Nathan Ton Hi Nathan. What a coincidence, isn't it. If you didn't sell it yet, feel free to share here a link to your selling page. I think this will be the best place to advertising it. :) Cheers.
Wihhh karya anak bangsa Indonesia! He is Indonesian modificator , salute for Indonesian modifications

Jose Osorio Obrigado Amigo. Um abraço.
Wow! I really like the outcome, and being that it came from an inexpensive bike to start makes it even better.
Ride AMAP That's exactly what i thought when i found it. Thanks for your comment. Cheers.

Thomas Elliott It sounds great for a 4 cylinder. Spontaneous throttle.

I love the gsf 400. It's a real fun bike that make you smile with 60hp. In my opinion a low butget dream bike, stock or modifidet ❤
Cool Bike, I have heard that the Indonesians are good mechanics and brilliant panel and painters
North Queensland Recreation I think there is some truth in that statement. And this bike can be a good example. Thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
That bike is so awesome looking.
Eric Riley Thanks for sharing your opinion. Cheers.
That's one hell of an exhaust note!
Ankit Parashar Yes, for those who love 4 cylinders engines, it couldn't sound better.

Ankit Parashar Almost reminds me of the 1991 Mazda 787B Le Mans racer
Ankit Parashar Sounds almost like mine's Hornet's Mivv X-Cone exhaust.
***** This Suzuki in a Dragon's throat = Mazda 787 :)
BiGFooTy2k True that mate!!
Also Racer TV i hope u keep an eye on my project as i will keep you updated
Captain Keem No problem. You can send me some pictures using my Facebook page. Good luck for your project.

Suzuki did make a limited edition bandit 400 which is in a kaff racer style with a bikini fairing
+Spif Spaf Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You're right. That special version can be an excellent base bike for a cafe racer project. Cheers.
+RACER TV no problem, always happy to share, I couldn't lay a finger on one though, a grey import like that just feels so special to me especially a limited edition
wow, where can I see one online ?
paul C put into google 'limited edition suzuki gsf 400 bandit' and it should come up first in both the red and black and silver and blue

Captain Keem well, in my opinion, this is the best looking Suzuki Bandit i ever saw. But all depends on our personal tastes. Cheers.

So were is the battery
+Dark4Watch I'm not sure, but considering that the fuel tank was completely changed,i think it's underneath the fuel tank. Cheers.
Yeah, the original shape of the tank has a big cavity on the bottom for the air box but since there are airpods on this bike that space was used for the battery .
Why isn't this bike considered as a café racer?
Fernando Leme Zaia It is missing some of the key features that define a cafe racer, especially the tail section, and it has a different design. Great special though!
***** I wouldn't explain better. Thanks. Cheers.
+Fernando Leme Zaia great question I was always wondering the same thing but most people who see me ride thinks it's a cafe racer
Café Racer or not, I love it!:)

hafeez iqbaluddin It is based in this version: "Inner Nature 3 - Burrows - ANW 2304 9"

Marc Geurts Lol. Yes, after my comment, you are the first. :). Thanks. Cheers.
I don´t like! I think that the original was most more interesting! It´s my opinion!
Not a fan of the bike or the style.looks a bit like a wanabe to me.
bjorn puimege I understand your opinion. But sometimes i need to present different bikes/projects, just to expand possibilities. But thanks for sharing your comment. Cheers.
