Here's one of Sean's videos, a pretty awesome music video filmed in Thailand: th-cam.com/video/rpzGDTZiPps/w-d-xo.html
It's Owen Wilson's brother, what a nutter. 😂😂😂
Please consider doing something similar Gabriel? 2 dirty toilets and a bottle of thumbs up

@@GabrielTravelerVideos Wow, cool man, cool band too.
i like it!👍🏼🕊️🕊️🍾
Gabe went from unknown in California growing up to world famous! how awesome is that! and here is the best part, he remains humble and the same person he was back then when he had 500 or so subscribers.
Hi Gabriel, that was fantastic meeting Sean. I have a feeling you will meet him again through your travels. He's a very friendly guy and knowledgeable about the historical sites with little travel time so there's some common interest there. I'm guessing with the hot springs and water coming in is the hot end the far side is a bit cooler. The road structure is a major problem and until they resolve this issue it will remain a problem. Many people don't know that Alexander the Great was in India and there may be Greek descendants that could be living in and around India.
That Alexander's ancestor stuff is straight out of Urban Legend spun by locals to get some traction and give it some spin...
Indeed. Being descendants of Alexander's army sounds like a much cooler story than the likely explanation for the blond or ginger haired/blue eyed locals than someone's grandmother being either a working girl or doing the naughty with some British private assigned to a hill station 70 or 80 years ago. Alexander passed through 2,000+ years ago. The miniscule traces of European genetics would have been watered down by the local ones long ago.
Gabriel, I hope you don't mind my saying this, but your particular genius, whether it's in India, Romania or anywhere else, seems to be poking around in weird places and discovering all kinds of strange and unexpected things - kind of like a Sherlock Holmes of the travel world, I suppose.
cant believe Sean is in the Himalayas LOL
No surprise to see the English travel vlogger also loving India! Seems it is pretty much the ultimate travel destination. As a fan of travel channels, the episodes I will never miss are Gabe in India, and Harald in (nearby) Nepal!
Could you name a few more travel channels like our Gabriel please? I have a lot of trouble finding travel channels that I like 😕
@@isaidwhatisaid8470others I like are Backpacker Ben, Bald and Bankrupt, Harald Balder, Sabbatical, Kurt Kaz, Vagabond, Shiey
Also recommend Simon Wilson, Tom from Texas with his very pretty Russian girlfriend, Tim K, Dale Phillip, Lord Miles does videos on Afghanistan as does his co-traveler Callum.
I sub to most of the above excellent youtube channels and add, Kyde and Eric, itchy boots, Steve marsh, action kid. And vagrant holiday (sadly not active for a long time, still great)
Karl rock, Simon wilson, shiey, roaming hogan. I watch too much youtube 😅
Ha ha, Thats awesome buddy, Loved this place, Big thanks for the plug and the link, Take care buddy It was an absolute pleasure
Nasty man, what you said in Vietnam will follow you everywhere.
Thanks for another great upload Gabriel!
Love how you just keep exploring and investigating !! This is quite an adventure! Cheers Gabe!
Loved the intro. I lose myself in another world watching these Himalayan videos. They’re the absolute best.
All inspiring views from around Himalayas . Temples and Gurdwara’s look 👀 amazing.
Beautiful tour of Manikaran town and springs on the Parvati river. Amazing who you get to run into on your travels! ❤
Very cool vlog and those hot springs look fantastic!
Hello from CA & thanks 4 video with u & Sean in INDIA, one of my favorite cultures in the world! Psychedelic trip reinvigorating our brains! 💜
Wow, Gabe, that's so crazy that you ended up in the same room, in the same hotel you stayed at so many years ago! What are the odds?
That looked like an interesting town, and I didn't know that there were hot springs up in the Himalayas. I like a nice hot bath, but if it was too hot even for you, I probably wouldn't e able to tolerate it. I have pretty sensitive skin!
The food looked yummy, as always!
Thanks Gabriel
Love your videos ❤
very nice to see Manikaram again, I was there in april 2005......not so much changed....
I bumped into Sean last year in Chiang Mai. Great guy and nice videos. I’m checking his videos in India and they are great.
Two tectonic plates of my world just collided I have followed both Sean and Gabriel for some time Knowing that both would be in India I had a premonition that the two would meet Deja Vu All Over Again
Ha, cool.
Beautiful , thanks for sharing , Greeting🇦🇪❤️ from Dubai
Gabe what an awesome guy you are
An interesting fact for you - quite a few Western criminals have been living for decades in these non-descript Indian towns to escape the law back home. They live good lives under aliases, off their ill-gotten wealth from their past, some even have tuned spiritual and do yoga! You can see one such woman slinking into an alley at 4:19 . How do I know this? Well, let's just say I have helped Interpol catch some of them.
I've watched your videos for a few years and I think this is the first time to comment. Just want to say I do find your videos extremely interesting, they make me feel as if I'm actually there.
Great, thanks for watching.
That was a great Vlog yet again Gabriel, loved the trek, also the Vlogging a dead horse guy was lovely too, I’m going to subscribe to him now. 🙏👍
Hi Gabe, thank you for shearing very interesting video. Chaos
Thx 4 the tour. Might have
To check out that area
19:20 do you remember you did a similar hike in Kargil town.. liked it so much and traveled to Kargil town myself for 3 nights in 2018
Great Video! India is such a great country. Definitely adding this one to the list next time we are there.
It's the perfect time to go to Arunachal Pradesh 😀. There's a direct flight from Delhi to Itanagar. Watching from San Ramon, California.
It looks so peaceful there.
I love your vids Gabe
Great vlog,i can't wait to see what Tosh is looking like these days after they built the road, at one time you could only get there by foot, had a wonderful time there, beautiful places hope you do the trek to Kheer Ganga, well worth the hike
Great video mate..you should check out the valley of flowers in uttarakhand, well worth visiting at the right time of year.. safe travels brother 👍
I've been very close to it, went up to Joshimath and then went up the road toward the temple and passed the trail to Valley of Flowers, but it was December so there was probably snow up there.
Gabe what a peaceful and amazing city...........now I see why you love the area so much
No way - I'm a subscriber to Vlogging a dead horse too! So weird seeing that, what synchronicity! Like your room revisit, that was awesome too, keep in the flow Gabe,, best wishes from Yorkshire.
Amazing
Zafar from Pakistan sir salute you 13 time you visit the india wow awesome 👍
Regards from Assam (NE India)❤
A city surrounded by mountains, rivers, and hot springs 🙏 i can see why was/is a sacred place.
hi gabe, nice vid again, quick question are those powerlines across mountains ?, looked like it, anyway have a nice trip
There are so few places left that take literal days to get to. I think thats why the Himalayas have this appeal. Sure there are airports and railroads, but so many of these towns seem to be in some random valley that doenst really seem to go anywhere with these small provicial roads winding through for hours.
Vlogging a dead horse is another travel vlogger you need to be aware of Gabriel. A few weeks ago he made a video in Vietnam where he viciously verbally attacked a car park attendant. He wished death on him and wished his children death with naplam. There was uproar among his fans and he reluctantly in the end took the video down. Be vigilant with these other TH-camrs.
I couldn't watch the video that Gabriel put as a link - I think we all know why he goes to Thailand.
@@witlof5492why he goes to Thailand?
Can you you enlighten me on Sean’s disrespecting in Vietnam, please? I’ve been a subscriber of his for awhile and he just has an abrasive personality. He comes off as a sarcastic ass sometimes, but I think his intentions are good.
Just saw one of his videos...he has a creepy way talking to girls
Sean's his own way of doing things he's a great guy
Harald Baldr is in the Himalayas as well. Itd be cool for you two to do a cameo together
Heraldo is enjoying his Gongo.
gabe high roller style😂😂😂😂
Haraldo showed Sunil's cancer center named for Sunil's son Leo today.
Rather Gabriel stay solo.
"Entering Highroller Gabriel Traveler Mode" the camera pans and Gabriel is there
AWESOME🙌🙏🏼👍🏼😍i like your head gear!!! pretty houses this place so clean
thank you, bringing back awesome Indian temple atmosphere💖🙏
Uncanny! I've actually watched Vlogging a dead horse in Thailand before coming across Gabriel. I feel the odds of seeing another vlogger I recognize here, it's akin to winning the lottery. If a million timings were not just right, this wouldn't have occurred 😊, the wonder of the universe...
Yeah pretty wild. It's happened a couple other times as well. I ran into Drew Binsky in New York City and Haley Dasovich in Tulum.
India is more the thing i associate you with, and that's why i started to follow you on youtube. You travel to places that other vloggers doesen't goo too, and it has been wery helpfull with the reaseasrch for me in India/Nepal. If you gonnah do something special, like on the Switzerland budget, i think Bhutan or maybe do a Tibet tour from Kathmandu to Mount Kailash would be intresting to see if you can handle :)
Malai Kofta, haven't had that in a long time, wow India seems to have gotten a lot more expensive though.
Gabe have u ever gotten to a destination and been stuck due to snow, flood, etc?
When it comes to music, you are the best.Good video.
The singing cowboy notwithstanding 😅
*Gabriel HIGH ROLLER Traveler!*
Lovely music! I feel like I'm watching some really captivating old-school documentary (I mean old-school in a good way). I visited Manikaran in 2016. It's a place with a lot of special energy but that applies to the whole region of Himachalpradesh.
Hi Gabriel, loving the videos, food and scenery from India - did you feel the Nepal earthquake (on 4th Nov) where you were? Stay safe 👍🏻
I guess Gabriel will mention the earthquake in his next video or two as is only 4 november today [well in Thailand its 18.20 on 4.11).
Elton Sean?! 😊
Sadly our Sean isn't, how can I put it, as refined as Gabriel.
You got some taste when it comes to music , must say
❤️👍❤️
Gabe - Consider getting a small stand for your dji Osmo and then placing the stand on top of the taxi's dashboard. Your dashcam videos could be really interesting. Thanks!
John - consider watching something else if this is not interesting enough for you.
👍👍👍
Hola!!!
Please bro please come the uttarakhand im waiting you for host , uttarakhand near the himanchal
Thanks Gabe 👍. Apparently you have forced the soulful, bluesy, grundgy singing cowboy into retirement. Very appropriate music for this intro, well done 👍
McCumber will be back again one of these days, love his tunes. ✌️
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I'll look forward to hearing him again as you traverse the Texas panhandle on your way to Oklahoma 😂
😊😊😊❤🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦
Great thang you ran into Vlogging A Dead Horse (Sean). Very cool of you to put up his channel name on screen and pin his channel link in the comments section as you did with me. Harald does give you the occasional shout out and once I heard him say I'm Going Into Gabriel Traveler Mode. Right after you left Sean and crossed the bridge it's right there where the path to go up to Gargi village is. It goes between some homes alleyway style and then clears them and ya' keep going up for about 4.5 kilometers. The children of the village hike down and back every day for school. Some of Alexander The Great's soldiers deserted his ranks and fled to The Himalayas back when they were in the Kashmir area if I recall the story properly. They believed they were not going to make it back home as they had been on a 10 year plus military campaign and add to that that Alexander was a mad man who killed one of his top generals who was supposed to be like a best friend just because he said let's return home, the men are tired, want to return to their families and we've conquered all in our path. Gabe thanks for taking me and others who've been there down memory lane.
That explains it. I thought you meant the bridge in Kasol, but you meant in Manikaran. Next time I go back I'll have to do that hike up to Gargi.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos It's a pretty epic trek up because when you get to Sun View Cafe (guesthouse run by Teku) in the village of Gargi, you'll have a much nicer view of the valley and see some snow capped mountains. You can even stay the night if it's not totally booked plus they offer restaurant service (limited menu options) until about 5-6pm. Teku is a totally chilled out dude and he's more of a hippie type vibing Indian 🇮🇳. He loves Bob Marley music and the like.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
wow been watching you both for a long time now! and you cross paths wow
Cool. 👍
Nice video. What makes the spring water so hot? Pardon my ignorance.😊❤
Earth's geothermal energy makes it hot, the water seeps into the earth, becomes hot because the earth is hot under the surface, then it gets pushed back to the surface and you have hot springs.
@@parulsinha3092 thanks for the info.🌝
Sean is the man
Maybe its just a perception, but after being to the are twice in the past, but long time ago, it looks like the difference is that now there are much more domestic tourists vs foreign. Do you think so too?
Thanks for the video
Indian travel by foreigners hasn't fully recovered since COVID. Also, the areas in HP that Gabriel has been traveling in during this trip ordinarily have a large number of young Israeli tourists who have returned home. Additionally, Canadians can't get tourist visas right now - don't know how much that has affected the overall foreign tourist quota though.
@@VickySafari108 I think those are all relevant factors. I noticed there were fewer foreign tourists in the places I've been so far, especially McLeod Ganj and Kasol.
Do the locals generally speak a little English in that area of India?
Yes, many of them do to varying degrees.
02:59 Did you throw him from the bridge? 🤣🤣🤣
Are you staying in Kasol or Manikaran?
In Manikaran, I showed my hotel room at the beginning with the view of Manikaran.
You're too late boys.. .horse flogger,Harold the "all right all right luxury hotel stayer ..and " I've been everywhere man Mr G " ..the ship has sailed ...the horse has bolted ..the halcyon days of the sixties and seventies hippie trail were the glory days of this area and beyond .....but keep it going you upstarts ...😎.....😅.......still interesting to see what's happening there right now . 👍🙏
18:30 Hilarious
I had to Sub to Sean’s channel just because of his intro video alone!
Haha that’s so random you ran into Sean of Vlogging a Dead horse! I’m a subscriber of his because of his Thailand videos, they’re quite entertaining!
From my experience you can do 10.000 rupees 5 times at one stop but you have to do it five times each from the beginning, I did it lots of times
And then get robbed...
Yes, you can make multiple withdrawals. It will depend on your bank back home and how much you're allowed to withdraw per day.

Hey Gabriel, Sean might have been referring to the legend which is depicted in the wonderful 1975 film "The Man Who Would be King" and the book of the same name by Kipling. If you haven't seen the movie, I think you would like it since it touches on the idea that a tribe in the region are descendants of Alexander the Great.
Love seeing this area of HP where I traveled 37 years ago!
There are 3 small valleys near Chitral on the Pak-Afghanistan border where non Muslim Kafiris follow rites similar to ancient Greeks.
Earthquake in Nepal you good?
All good, didn't feel it here in Himachal Pradesh. Looks like it was a fairly small one, 5.6.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Hi Gab. Small Quake, but it killed many in Nepal. Reports indicate that at least 128 people have lost their lives and many injured

Greetings, Gabriel! I'm your Romanophile friend, Nai Man - remember me? Seems like you have now gone quite far afield from Romania. I have been to India a few times, and even made a couple of trips to India from Romania - one to take a yoga teacher's training course in Kerala in South India, and the second one to study Unani, or Greco-Arabic traditional medicine in Delhi. I would go back to India in a heartbeat, but unfortunately I don't think my poor intestines could take it, as I got a very bad case of dysentery last time I was there. With me and India, it's definitely a case of the spirit being willing, but the flesh being weak. For us Americans, Romania can be a kind of halfway house to India, don't you think?
Perhaps Turkey is a better halfway house
@@DeputyDog-mh1yo I vastly prefer Romania!
@@naiman4535 I'm sure you do, but it's not a halfway house to India, that's my point.
@@DeputyDog-mh1yoturkey is no way a halfway house to India.
@@DeputyDog-mh1yo What - you measured the distance from the US to India, and concluded that Turkey is the halfway point? It all depends on from what part of America you are measuring from, doesn't it? You must be partial to Turkey; I on the other hand, am partial to Romania, and have many good friends there. Also, I first encountered Gabriel by watching his videos on Romania.

Be safe my friend.
I probably won't make a video showing the editing process, but I use Videopad and can recommend it.
Thank you, I'll check it out. Your videos the best!
Hi Gabe: Nice video of Manikaran. The trek up the path was interesting. I think you have stumbled upon a sadhu's pad up there. They like to hang out in the mountains and do their meditation. I want to ask you about the garbage in India. You are a frequent traveler to India and there has been a concerted effort by the Government to reduce the amount of garbage on the streets. Do you think that is the case now?
I traveled in North India in 2018, and it was an amazing experience! I did notice, however, a lot of garbage, especially in the larger cities. Not as much in the smaller towns/villages, but still a fair amount of garbage laying around.
I was in Rishikesh and Uttarkashi in 2015 and again in 2019. It was clear that an effort was being made and some places were somewhat cleaner. Whatever efforts are being made seem to be overwhelmed by the tremendous population everywhere.
I would say that it's moderately better but not significantly.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos as plastic adoption increased the Garbage situation worsened; we Indians think public spaces are garbage bins
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Thanks for your honest opinion. I think the cleanliness varies a lot from place to place.
