- My last day of traveling in the Himalaya Mountains of Himachal Pradesh, India, from Vashisht to the Kullu Manali Airport. If you're looking for a place to stay in Vashisht I highly recommend staying at Manu's hotel, called Zuri Guesthouse or Manu Zuri House. The video I showed at the end was one of Backpacker Ben's, you can watch it here: • She Got What She Deser...

I’ve absolutely loved these Himalaya episodes, Gabriel. I’ve been to India 5 times, love the place - and have watched all your past India videos because you obviously love the country too.
Apart from Darjeeling, I’d never been in the mountains (Pakistan yes, but not India), but my husband and I were planning to go in November 2022. I had a route all planned out (Rishikesh and north from there). Sadly, my husband got ill and we had to cancel, and now I know he’ll never travel again.
But watching your latest videos, I’m determined to still go one day, either on my own (I’m 70 now!), or persuade a friend!
Have you been to Goa to party with the Russian drunkards?
wishing your husband and you good health and happiness ....
Thanks for opening up Annie. We're here for you.
Hi Annie, Rishikesh is a nice place, but being in the must visit list of most of the foreign tourists, it's too crowded. If you want peace n tranquility, I suggest you to visit offbeat n remote spots in the Indian Himalayas. There are many hidden gems. Naggar, as covered by Gabriel in one of those (as I saw it 10 years back). You may also explore Lahaul, Spiti n Ladakh. All the best.
@@jacksoncornbreadmcbride6763 Was in Goa in 1987 and 1988 - no Russians back then!
I was in the southern part of Himachal Pradesh. Driving up to Chamba. From my view, this is most beautiful land I've ever seen.
"You see the view?"
So cool of them to say "farewell" with a firework display!!!!.....Certainly enjoyed the calm of the beautiful Himalayas journey, another side of India......
Naggar Castle is a hotel run by HPTDC. Once at Naggar, one should also visit Roerich art gallery (walking distance from Castle).
Ive loved watching these videos in India. Thanks
Love the traditional architecture in these parts, especially the carved wood.
You are a remarkable traveler covering many different regions of the world, natural disasters in Nepal ,and Iceland, Gaza and Israel Issues. You have also shared your insights and experiences with a global audience, and all of that in past year alone or so.
Stay Safe great current series.
Luv your wings against that building 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 in. Luv with India the sky. The mountains. The people are so kind Thanks for taking us along beautiful quality video adventures And yes. Like a fairytale 💙💜🦋🙏🏻🦋🙏🏻🦋🌼
Ist's so cool to see you hiking to jogni walterfalls. I got to know my best Friends from Delhi, America, Australia and Israel in Manali, We all together went there. Awesome memories, i recognize nearly every little bit of the track ❤
Oh man! I cannot get over those INCREDIBLE views!! To see that beautiful waterfall in the same scene as those amazing snow capped mountains! Breathtaking! You said it best, “That view never gets boring.” Another fantastic video, producing your best content right now. The firework finale seemed the perfect way to end this series. I’ve enjoyed EVERY single minute of EVERY single video from this Himalayas series. There’s just NOTHING that compares to the Himalayas!! One of your very BEST (if not THE best) travel adventure series. ❤️👏👏👏❤️ Bravo!! 👏👏👏
Nice shoutout to ‘Backpacker Ben’ at the end!
The "Beas" river is pronounced as "Vyaas", named after an ancient sage ("vashishth" is also the name of an Indian sage)
Depends where in India you're from. Most Bengalis pronounce v like b, like Benaras and Aurobindo.
@@jampuppydepends on where the river is from, as it's not from Bengal, hence it's Vyaas.
@@rishavlala709 Not exactly. We take our native language and its phonetic traits wherever we go. If a sound doesn't occur in that language it is usually replaced with the closest related sound that does. In the case of v that becomes b for most Bengalis speakers. For Russians w is the challenge and often becomes v.
I do agree that when learning a placename it's a good idea to try to pronounce it as locals do, though. 🙂
yeah b & v are interchangeable in india i found, very confusing on road signs for me the first time in the mountains.
@jampuppy Do you guys call West Bengal as Best Bengal?
great one. best video of the trip . ti have loved this entire series. your enthusiasm reflects the beauty of the place and of the people.
Great, glad to hear it.
That castle was so beautiful! And your driver/guide/hotel owner was so kind (and easy on the eyes)! I am going to miss the Himalayas. It has been an epic series.
We stayed at Naggar Castle back in 1991. I remember it seemed more "rustic" in those days. Either my memory is bad, or they really spruced up the place. In any event, the stay was a highlight of our 2-month long trip to India.
Thank you,Gabriel!
Gabriel in wonderland! ❤
Beautiful!!
gab..only u can show us the best of india..👍👍

Fantastic. Really enjoyed the Himalaya series. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to Amritsar!
Hi Gabriel take care a lot of the paths and tracks look very precarious. Wonderful scenery and views friendly welcoming people to what an amazing journey.
Awesome! Absolutely awesome! I feel totally inspired to do this hike, even at 72 years. I am binge watching your channel in the Himalayas.
We’d love to see more of your hotel accommodations and meals . Great series !
These Himalayas videos have been remarkable. Thank you, a great job as always. I'm almost bummed you're not staying a bit longer! Going back to the video where you discussed the giant spider in your room, I really wish you had filmed that monster. I would have loved to have seen her (fron afar!). I also enjoy watching Backpacker Ben's videos. 🙂
Fantastic and wonderful clip from the amazing Gabe 😃👍🏻✌🏻
Was a good watch, thanks Gabriel.
Regards sent from Western Scotland.
That temple and castle your driver took you to are so beautiful, very distinctive style of construction, very fine woodwork👌😍
Hi Gabriel, that was an incredible getaway day. A nice start to the day hiking up to the waterfall and stopping at the outside restaurant very nice ambiance quite peaceful. I found the architecture very interesting Manu pointed out the buildings with a tower-like structure called Kath Kuni but then you have a balcony around the upper area of the structure reminds me of the similar structures you would see in Japan from what see on Wikipedia they appear to be very energy efficient this type of construction is thousands of years oddly enough this type of construction allows the structure to flex with the seismic waves offering excellent structural and seismic resilience.
Keep going Sir Gabriel
Very likeable but a bit dull.
Thanks for another great video Gabriel ! Really appreciate and love your respectful approach to discovering the many facets of my country. Quick tip: the pun in Punjab is pronunced as pun as in pun intended..jab is jaab... Really enjoyed the music too !! your hard work at editing shows !
Wrong. Pronounced poon

I enjoyed seeing that you watch Backpacker Ben! Nice treat at the end of the video. 😊
Cool. 👍
Nice day, nice video
So sad your leaving the Himalayas, but to comfort that you are staying in India and visiting Amritsar a place I hope to visit from the UK in 2024. 🙏
YES!!! PUNJAB!!! So blessed you are....
I like to punjab with my tongue 👅
You wouldn’t want to be sleep walking there in the middle of the night, or accidentally take a wrong turn, as you could easily end up at the bottom of a very steep ravine.
Always a magical off the beaten track tour with a local ;)
Gabe this is awesome stuff your producing lately, keep up the good work.
If you wish...you can visit the western ghats, Chattisgarh region and hills of Maharashtra...you will be amazed ✨
I stayed one night at Naggar Castle back in 2000!! It was amazing stay there. It was very quiet only one other person was staying there. He was an Indian businessman and the only person I saw with a cell phone on that 6 month long trip!! Happy Travels
Dear Gabriel , i watch your videos all the time, this himalayan trip was great to watch, if after Amritsar you come to Rajasthan visit Udaipur pls
Ten years ago clip was hilarious (for viewers atleast). Glad you recovered well. 🙂

Very nice views and such an excellent host driver. Amazing to see your excellent films from my living room in England 🏴 thank you so much blessings to you I still pray for you.
Back packer Ben viewer. The story about 5000 year old temple is amazing wonder whether its age is confirmed by archaeologists?
😊😊😊❤🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦

Cool to meet you man. ✌️👊
Maintaining sanctity of place - probably euphemism for "Do not urinate".
Itzz a cool presentation without even a drone.Camera specification please
DJI Osmo, there's a link in the description.
Happy travels. What are the white rabbits for? Food? Pets?
What is the cab drivers guesthouse called?
Safe travels
Volcano in Iceland ready to erupt.
Not sure about the rabbits but I think they're offering to take pictures with them. His guesthouse is called Manu Zuri House.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Thankyou Gabe. Safe adventures.
16:10 should be part of TH-cam's crazy long list of "Funny fails" videos lol. The fall could well have dislocated hipjoints.
👍
Firstly I started to watch Gabriel's video for studying English, but later on I could not stop coz it's awesome content!
Gabriel, If it says silence, it means even no whispering…
No flying lotus encore?? I'm sad 😞
Missing beautiful, modern Kuwait
Nope. Kuwait was soulless, sterile, and boring. 👎
Are you kidding? 😅
@@DaltonMirklesteinhow can you say that? It's beautiful, sand everywhere, daytime weather forces you to stay in the cool AC car, house, mall. Some fabulous shopping. It the best. I certainly hope Gabe is planning to return soon.
@@DeputyDog-mh1yoHabibi come and see for yourself. If you are not rich, please do not come.
@@Mr.Mzungu being forced to staying inside with AC and walking around shopping malls isn't really my idea of fun, but I'm glad you enjoy it 😂
nice jump 🧘
You got the number from 10 years?
Gab, Did you decide if you wanna fly to Leh after Amritsar ? Or gonna explore plains of India
Where to next, Gabe? South India would be lovely. Have you been to Kerala?
Looking forward to more India videos.
Pam, have you considered a life in India?
