Hi i have original LLL and HHH bin files for bios with immo turned OFF withing bios software can i leave the 8pin immo eprom as it will be bypassed by bios disabling immo?
In this case, had no effect. I have compared files recently and the difference was only the immo line. If it wouldn't start or something I agree, you must desolder it.
Hello! when I read the eeprom everything is always 00000. I've also tried a me 3.8, it's always the same. everything is zero. but he says the eeprom was recognized! only he reads nothing. Tried an EDC15P+ twice. with both he reads the eeprom! only not with all MSA and so on. everything is always 0 Please help me
Hi, it must be bad connection or wrong polarity of first pin. Or have you picked the right component to read from the list? I mean does it really matches what you pick and what you want to read? Have you desoldered EPROM?
Hello and thank you for your answer! I used a SOP8 clip. I used it to read 2 EDC15P+ Eproms without any problems (only for testing). Then I tried a Bosch ME 3.8 and everything 0000 is displayed here. Next was an EDC15V, here also everything 0000. Then another Bosch ME 7.3 and here everything is 0000. Then I connected the EDC15P+ again and everything works. I just do not understand. Today I will unsolder the eprom and try if they are then read out.
@@Gadomaitis Yes I'm sure. My EDC15V is exactly the same as in your video. I did everything exactly like you, but it doesn't work. everything up to 0000.

Not necessarily. It depends.
Too much noise in data while on the board I think. Desoldering can help to not corrupt info either

Yes, you need to supply 5VDC for 93xxx EEPROM with jumper and insert into 25xxx socket
With electronics, Usually things doesn't go so well as planned
