You are given the IR spectra of two compounds
A and B, one of which is an alkane and another
is an alcohol. Which bands you will look for in
these two spectra ? Explain due to which

An endocyclic double bond is a double bond inside of a ring system. An exocyclic bond is outside of the ring system.
