I'm a former TV producer. and switching to social media the first thing I learned was that it works pretty much the same as live or taped tv shows, same time same channel so its fine that you locked yourself into Fridays as the algorithm really likes that you are consistent it also gives people a map and it also keeps you accountable, shoot ahead of time months ahead and you wont feel so inundated with Fridays it does not have to be live. 5? they need to outline 26 at least= 26 is the episode count we would do for tv, then we re-released them after the season was over for the summer you can do the same with youtube.
Another limited video. I can't suggests enough to show HOW TO CREATE a podcast step by step before anything else. For "newbies" you are explaining the things that are irrelevant if the person doesn't even know how to create a podcast. Analogy - it's like saying, go build a car, then I'll teach you how to drive it - to which is replied, teach my to build the car, before you offer to teach me to drive the car. You have failed to explain how to record. Is what I recorded, the podcast? And then from there I choose to put it on a platform. Is my podcast? is a podcast simply just an audio file stored on your desktop? Then I create a folder which holds these files? Is it this simple? Without knowing this, how do I move forward? I can have all the topics I want, but if a "newbie" doesn't know how to get voice on record , then everything you inform is useless, just me sitting in front of mic with topics in hand thinking about a host. This video really puts the cart before the horse - thus makes it limited as a proper teaching aid.

There are few examples of faceless podcasts (I listen one called My View on the View), but they're far and few between. You can definitely upload the audio to TH-cam just as another placement, but it probably won't have a massive impact.
