I've watched some great content on SEO over the last few weeks but this is easily the best. So clearly explained and easy to digest - excellent content.
at 12:30 you mentioned that we should make sure that the tagline is unique, do you mean unique from other URLs on my website or unique from taglines in the SERP, if the second then how can we do that? Also, at 13:38 you mentioned that the pictures should be original, what if I want to include a picture about a topic as I am writing a blog? and thanks for the informative video, really helped.
Hi, Shimaa. Glad you found the video helpful and thank you for your feedback! When setting up and adding keywords for SEO, you want to include unique tags that are related to your product. You can learn more about Adding Keywords for SEO within our help center resource here: bit.ly/3gQsJoM.
As a very beginner, I would benefit from having a sample after each explanation (showing on a Shopify website where things are located) as a few things I still didn't get it. Just a suggestion. Thank you.
Hi Daniela! That is great feedback, and I'll be sure to pass it on. In the meantime, are there any specific issues that you want me to explain in more detail?
Thank you. At 12:28, wouldn't it go brand name | headline for the title tag rather than headline | brand name? Please clarify if I'm not understanding this part.
Hello! Love your vids! Do you have any recommendations on which Shopify app is good for personalization? Just a simple adding a word on a product much like with Etsy not print on demand either. Hope that makes sense. TIA.
Muy bueno el curso. Muchas gracias Tyler!! Felicitaciones y muchas gracias! el que lo quiera ver que empiece desde el principio anotando ya que hay mucho contenido de mucho valor.
Fantastic videos team. I’m in the process of building a Shopify store with a friend and I had a question that I hoped you could help answer. Would it be better from an SEO and ads perspective to have a product for each colour variant? We want to sell watch straps, we will only start with 14 products but each product has around 4 colours and several sizes. So I am wondering what you think would be a better strategy to start out with? One product and several variants in it, or one product per colour and size variants in each colour? Maybe I’m I’ve thinking it but when I go to Google I see one brand with multiple listings when they have multiple products for each colour and the others brands with one colour and multiple variants get less listings which makes me think a colour per listing could lead to more traffic and more sales. Thank you for your fantastic videos!
I am still watching but just a quick question, are you advising us to add to the beginning "buy" "best" etc words to our keywords? (for product selling)
Hi there, great question! When selecting key words, you are looking for words that show buying intent. Words such as 'best' or 'buy' are examples of this, but aren't required to be used, rather a recommendation.
SEO can feel overwhelming at times when just getting started. With that said, is there a part of the video you are stuck on? Let me know if you have any questions at all!
How to focus on b2b and warehouse customers who would be interested in carrying a product there is so much information about starting to sell other people's products and dropshipping but what if you want to become a supplier to drop shippers or to brick and mortar retail with your unique products.
Hi, there! It really depends on what you are looking to do. For example, the video goes over what content is available in your site, which would be set up in the Admin of your Shopify store. We offer written tutorials to walk you through further guidance and step-by-step instructions you can take to improve your site's SEO that you can check out here: bit.ly/3cC8TyH.
I suggest you look at the reasons why Google is blocking your account and solve those, otherwise you’re going to be constantly fighting an uphill battle
@@learnwithshopify I am really struggling with getting my Shopify store connected with my Pinterest account. Also, what is going on with the problem with the Chrome browser? I get a window that pops up saying there is a problem with the browser so I am trying to work through Microsoft Edge.
I am obviously in the minority but to me this is far from a beginners guide, he mentions doing things with a kinda assumption you have any idea what he's talking about then just moves on to the next thing, where is the HOW for each of these points. An example being the Product Category. I am on Shopify and TBH I have no idea what he is talking about. There are Products, Titles, Collections none of this seems to translate the language he is speaking
It's hard in the beginning... they all do this! My first year trying to learn I was so freaking lost!! You have to look up what the words definitions mean in order to understand the lingo... Just keep going you will figure it out over time...
