Thanks for the review Ninja! I'll always be loyal to whoever I'm riding for but I thought I would put it out there for the fun of the review and see where it went from there. Glad I could teach a loyalty lesson to future entries. This series is very entertaining and can't wait to see more!
+NinjaLifestyle Yeah probably. Im not even hating on Revive, i think its cool what they do because they push skateboarding. But it´s a simply fact that most of them are too bad at skateboarding for a "real" sponsor.
I fucking love these videos! They help people get an idea of what it takes to get sponsored and it's probably the most entertaining videos I've ever seen. I hope to submit my video when it's finished. Keep it up!
+23snowy23 Low level amateurs should be happy to just have a sponsor. If they're constantly shopping around for new sponsors, what's the point in sponsoring them in the first place? Small companies want skaters that will represent their brand until that skater builds their own reputation and eventually moves on, not someone who agrees to a sponsorship and then immediately sends their sponsor-me tapes to other companies. I don't know if that made sense or not, but that's my take.
skatersridge i think you missunder stood what i meant, what im saying is that one does not have to be as good as the person they are cirtiqueing to give good advice.
Dude keep on doing what your doing its awsome what i like about you no homo it that you talk the truth and thats what people need cause man some skater need the truth i aint a really good skateborder but i know what i can do and what i cant do so just love to u man no homo ha
And what you said about him sending you a sponsor tape.. He didn't, you made it clear in the other reviews that that isn't what this series is about. He just wanted an honest review
My 100% goal in life is to have every characteristic that ninja "needs" for cake muscle and right before I join, tell him that I skated mongo when I first started skating. Bet he'd make that an excuse to not sponsor me.
Steve I think you can tell immediately (for most) sponsor tapes if it's a skater with a real sponsor tape or not. Would one episode of decent tapes you have received, be a good episode to post?
What people don't realise is, when the person in the first clip for example lands a trick but its scatchy it is cool and all. He landed the trick and he should be proud of himsel, but from the point of giving this dude money for what he does it is horrible, it cant compete with skaterboarders on a professional level. I am not that good of a skate myself, i consider it as a hobby and i am impressed by some of these trick aswell, but if there is money involved, even someone like myself who has not a single bit of professionality in skateboarding in him, realises the view changes quite a lot. Stop bitching people.
does the first guy never re do his tricks? i made a few montages when i first got into skating but i think if it was a sponsor tape i would try to make every trick perfect
Bro cake muscle sells itself literally ANYONE who has a goku deck or a zelda deck OR a scootersrgay board he is going to turn heads and have to answer "where do i get that board?"
the first guy I think whas good for his age but I have no room to speak on these videos because currently the best trick I can do is verial kikflip, but the reason I watch these is to see what I need to do and what I don't want to do when I'm good enough to make a sponsor tape
I think you were giving the third guy to much props most of the tricks he did were on a hip or tiny stairs yeah they were hard tricks but for me personally I feel like a skater worthy of sponsorships would be able to do these tricks on big sets no problem
I'd say give the forst kid 6 months and he'll be pretty decent. In a year he'll have his own bit of style. Second guy, about the same. Third dude..... Don't have skate affairs
If someone tre flipped el toro but they couldn't kickflip, tre flip, 50-50 5-0 or anything like that, would you put them on the team? In other words, would you sponsor someone if they just had 1 fucking insane trick but they kind of lacked in everything else?
I don't get how shopping your skill to a new board company is any different that send resumes out to new companies when you want to change jobs. Loyalty doesn't put food on the table.
If one were to watch any video Baker, Thrasher etc. video, they all freak out because they are stoked one their achievement/friend/skateboarding. I really do not see what is wrong with displaying some passion and sense of self-gratification. These kids may not be doing the gnarliest tricks, but then again they are not paid for their sport and have not been participating in the community for extended period of time. Let them be stoked, and judge them on the tricks they work for and get and celebrate.
Dude, he kick flipped an 8 set.... the other dude cheered for him self after doing a 360 flip lipslide to fakie......... These are different things. it might'e been a tre to back board slide actually.
I didn't like the last guys style. tricks are good but nah man im not digging the style. when I think of great style I think of skaters like Cory kennedy , Wes Kremer , cody mcentire , chris joslin , luan olivera , nick tucker , ryan sheckler , Antwon Dixon , mike mo , sean malto , ishod wair , p rod , torey pudwill , eric koston , ryan decenzo, Jordan hoffart , brendon villanueva , mikey whitehouse , chris chan, tommy Sandoval, daewon song, shane oneill and etc man. hate on me but that's what style is too me :)
Thanks for the review Ninja! I'll always be loyal to whoever I'm riding for but I thought I would put it out there for the fun of the review and see where it went from there. Glad I could teach a loyalty lesson to future entries. This series is very entertaining and can't wait to see more!
+Marcus Green Don't lie, if Element called you up tomorrow we'd never hear from you again...
+Marcus Green Thanks for submitting!
+Doge wow so you wouldnt take elements offer? Like if you were riding for a small company wouldnt you want your name to be out there
+Marcus Green filthy rat
+milan0 no
God I love this series, GIVE US MORE
agreed
Yesssss
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas
lol the revive team mates are loyal, because most of them are way too bad to get a real sponsor
+ॐ shanti Revive probably treats them better than the typical 'core' sponsor would.
+NinjaLifestyle Yeah probably. Im not even hating on Revive, i think its cool what they do because they push skateboarding. But it´s a simply fact that most of them are too bad at skateboarding for a "real" sponsor.
+ॐ shanti have you even seen any aaron is boss
+ॐ shanti REAL SPONSOR haha yea cus there not real revive is pretty popular :'D
+Top 10 Doesn't make them good.
"What kind of deck is that?"
"A cake muscle."
"You should burn it."
the loyalty topic is a great one to bring up, great work yet again Mr Ninja!
"He`s skating it like a kid would do" He is a kid.
+Pen1980IM That's the point
+Pen1980IM have u ever seen tristan funkhouser on baker?
+javiesta Tristan is nineteen though...
+Pen1980IM Not really an excuse when you consider Sheckler and Nyjah Houston..
+I Mcdonaldswifi Thanks for replying to me bro
thanks for the constructive criticism ninja, I'll try to keep landing with my feet separate haha.
I come on to your channel hoping there would be a sponsor me video review to watch, and BANG! A brand new one! Loving these things man
I love watching these, and yes loyalty is definitely important
I came back after a full year and i believe this series needs to be continued forever!
I fucking love these videos! They help people get an idea of what it takes to get sponsored and it's probably the most entertaining videos I've ever seen. I hope to submit my video when it's finished. Keep it up!
Never stop this series it's so good
I love this series, and how you don't sugar coat shit thank-you you make me laugh man
Always look forward to these videos!
"oh my god why is he friends with that kid?" 😂😂😂
So you expect skaters to get sponsored then stick to that first company for life? There needs to be rotation it's healthy.
Mike Mo has been in Girl since he was 16 soooo....
+Joe Sparks but he also left lakai for dc...

you should bring this series back, I really liked these.
When I heard Marcus greens name I was hyped haha been waiting for this review!
PLEASE DO MORE I LOVE THESE !!!
I never seen anyone ask what board someone was riding, but they're ripping and you see them flying in the air so much you can see what they're riding.
6:51 the moment you review a submitted sponsor tape of someone who is better than you
So true
+skatersridge Why does that matter? With your argument for example you cant say a Computer game is bad if you cant make a better one yourself?
+Bror Svensson Media i said one thing and you interpret a different thing
skatersridge i think you missunder stood what i meant, what im saying is that one does not have to be as good as the person they are cirtiqueing to give good advice.
+Bror Svensson Media he never said u did just saying a fact
*Kickflips 8 stair and lands perfect bolts with no tictacs or anything* Ninja: "little bit sloppy"
Good sponsor review. For sure keep doing these :)
I actually find these very entertaining.
Preach it ninja!!! Next video please address children losing their temper when they don't land their trick after the third try.
In the last one, he could be unhappy with his current sponsor but wouldnt want to leave unless he had a new sponsor
I just had one of those boiled egg farts. Thought I would share..
Ninja is like the Gordon Ramsay of skating reviews!!
Dude keep on doing what your doing its awsome what i like about you no homo it that you talk the truth and thats what people need cause man some skater need the truth i aint a really good skateborder but i know what i can do and what i cant do so just love to u man no homo ha
Nice vid dude I love your channel 😀
"Oh my god why is he friends with that kid?" I fucking died hahahahaha
Love these
Yo Ninja! awesome review. When will you go skate the brownsville sports park again?

+ゥイ Who doesn't stand out?
NinjaLifestyle sam, andrew, aaron, the only ones that do are johny and dough
+ゥイ This is true , the revive team is quite bad :D
Lol I love this series !!
And what you said about him sending you a sponsor tape.. He didn't, you made it clear in the other reviews that that isn't what this series is about. He just wanted an honest review
Love seeing a Toronto skater in there!
+Gavin McLeod haahah i was gonna comment that. love the vids gavin. we should skate
Gavin this is Ninja not yoga!!!! Great video man keep killing it bro
Hey Gavin I am your biggest fan and I love finger boarding and skateboarding
It's not Toronto it's Saint John nb I live there and huge fan gavin
you should rename this series to "Road to a sponsorship"
that first park was in Toronto skatepark
"Yo get out of the middle of the damn skatepark a guy with a revive board is skating there! GET YO WALMART BOARD OUTTA HERE"
First two kids are from Toronto
Would you send boards to the east coast if the tape was good enough?
It's kinda funny how you put this up when Nyah leaves DC
wow the marcus green one came form saint john new brunswick and that is one of my local parks
7:56 werent you just "reviewing the tapes" and not actually thinking in sending boards?
Marcus is on Legit SB, but he really does stand out to other skaters.
its cool to see a skater from toronto alot of those spots are really close to where i live lol
Awesome!
surprised to see two clips in a row with kids from Toronto aha
My 100% goal in life is to have every characteristic that ninja "needs" for cake muscle and right before I join, tell him that I skated mongo when I first started skating. Bet he'd make that an excuse to not sponsor me.
That was in Canada ashbriges skate park the first one
Steve I think you can tell immediately (for most) sponsor tapes if it's a skater with a real sponsor tape or not. Would one episode of decent tapes you have received, be a good episode to post?
Haha thats beaches park toronto I was there when that kid was trying the back 180 at 1:09

Still waiting for the day ninja will give (someone who deserves it) a deck.
He looks away when the guys do good tricks so frustrating lol
does the first guy never re do his tricks? i made a few montages when i first got into skating but i think if it was a sponsor tape i would try to make every trick perfect
how many tries i should give for the tricks in my sponsor me tape? Is it ok to try a trick over 40 times or should i do tricks i can do in 10 trys ?
+Marcus green you live in toronto right and at 1:56 your at ashbridges
I've been to that spot at 1:37 it's in downtown Toronto
first 2 guys were from toronto
that was an extremely fast 11 minutes wtf
+Jod Life god yeah
@ninjalifestyle I would like to know how to contact you so I can send out my sponsor tape, thanks
Bro cake muscle sells itself literally ANYONE who has a goku deck or a zelda deck OR a scootersrgay board he is going to turn heads and have to answer "where do i get that board?"
The only time you should self celebrate is if you do something truely gnarly like i big ass frontslide flip down a 15 set
the first guy I think whas good for his age but I have no room to speak on these videos because currently the best trick I can do is verial kikflip, but the reason I watch these is to see what I need to do and what I don't want to do when I'm good enough to make a sponsor tape
I think you were giving the third guy to much props most of the tricks he did were on a hip or tiny stairs yeah they were hard tricks but for me personally I feel like a skater worthy of sponsorships would be able to do these tricks on big sets no problem
The only reason I watch these is bc he gets pissed
Someone should talk to Trevor Colden about loyalty.
I'd say give the forst kid 6 months and he'll be pretty decent. In a year he'll have his own bit of style. Second guy, about the same. Third dude..... Don't have skate affairs
ninja will never sponsor anyone. any time theres a good skater he just makes some excuse up.
What are your thoughts on guys like Sammy Baca?
***** Sock game too strong
the last dude was killing the hip like Cory Kennedy well....kinda as close lmao. But frl good skating to the last guy
If someone tre flipped el toro but they couldn't kickflip, tre flip, 50-50 5-0 or anything like that, would you put them on the team? In other words, would you sponsor someone if they just had 1 fucking insane trick but they kind of lacked in everything else?
Very childish comparison you're obviously 14
You leave Chris Joslin out of this!
+NinjaLifestyle Lmao
+NinjaLifestyle Except Chris Joslin lacks in nothing
+NinjaLifestyle Lmao wowwwww Ninja
That's the Toronto skate park I love that park
I don't get how shopping your skill to a new board company is any different that send resumes out to new companies when you want to change jobs. Loyalty doesn't put food on the table.
Holy shit ninja u got some mad biceps
Marcus is skating my local park
+Luca McKinnon mine too.
+Luca McKinnon yeah i was like wtf is that SJ haha

4:50 I've seen this spot online before
+Justin Adam Lz was there
Was it BMX?
Justin Yeah, I think its in Toronto, he did it when he went to Joyride 150
I knew i saw it before
It's in Toronto
Marcus has a TH-cam channel, he for sure would of sent it too you for nothing but your opinion and having his video played on your channel.
WAIT, WAIT!, WAIT! HOLD UP WHAT IS THAT IN THE BACKGROUND OF 2:12.... .A......A....A SCOOTER??????
Dude, he kick flipped an 8 set.... the other dude cheered for him self after doing a 360 flip lipslide to fakie......... These are different things.
it might'e been a tre to back board slide actually.
Maybe the guy is not happy where he is at. Have you ever looked for another job while you had a job? Oh wait, that would mean you actually had a job.
does ninja have eyebrows?
