Thanks Paul! Tassie is great ... so many things to see, do, eat and drink! I recommend a day trip to Bruny Island if you have the time. Yes, the rooms are quite stylish and I also like how they have the departure and arrival boards in the bar. :)
I love landing at Hobart, the views are spectacular, and I genuinely love the bit of turbulence that Hobart generally throws at the aircraft coming in to land
Another really well put together trip report…. Great that you explained some geographic locations en-route as not being Australian, it’s great to learn more about this amazing continent. Alliance/QF business looked very comfortable. Thank you for sharing and keep them coming! 👍
I think it only operates internally in the airport … you can’t catch it to town like the one that goes to to the Melbourne CBD. Yes, the E190s a great aircraft but will be better once they have entertainment.
@@FromtheWindowSeat Yes the Alliance leases are are helping the network to become a more interlocked routing . I love the new routes. Adelaide is becoming a far more prominent hub because of it.
Well done, I really like the informed but concise review. Hope you do a lot more flights so my travel considerations are easier. Consider me subscribed. Love the aeroplane shots, not so much the crutch shots, gotta laugh though, as they say pays to advertise.
Nice video, as always! I like ERJ 190/195 aircraft, and 2+1 configuration in Business is great! In Europe, Business class is usually in a 2+2, same like in Economy.
Thanks Pete! Yes, the E190 (I’ve never tried E195) is very comfortable and the business configuration was great. Even when I flew home in economy and the cabin was full, it was still pleasant. :)
That tannoy DOES sound like Dennis! I was thinking it and then the narration said it. 🤔 I wonder if a lot of blokes from Adelaide sound like that. Cool review - the Adelaide airport is very flash.
I enjoyed this video, as we are still in lockdown (can't go to the country from Melbourne) the presentation was excellent , loved it- is it better than Virgin Business Class? Philltheflyer
Hi Phill. Thank you so much! I've only flown in business class with Virgin once many years ago and I think things have changed since then. But I have a flight with Virgin in business planned next month, so if all goes well (hopefully there are no unexpected border restrictions), I'll be able to compare soon. :)
@@Austin_Boath Thank you! A combination of being really flexible (I cancelled a lot of trips during the year based on border changes and outbreaks), planning ahead and a lot of good luck. I live in Adelaide and we haven't had many outbreaks - so generally other states have had open borders to us. I was lucky to travel to Sydney and Canberra well before their major outbreak of 2021. :)
No, in Australia there’s only economy and business class on domestic routes. But business class here is what you’d call first class in the US. Hope that helps.
@@halitosis75 They don’t have business class on USA domestic flights … just first class and economy. So basically US domestic first class and Australian domestic business class are different names for the equivalent product.
@@halitosis75 Oh right … oops. Maybe I’m mixing the USA with Europe then. Most European domestic flights only have two classes, similar to Australia. But I think they call them economy and first. 🤔
Depends who you ask, which route and which aircraft. For me, a Qantas A330 will always beat a narrow body aircraft but you won’t find A330s on many domestic Qantas routes. So there are pros and cons for both. Qantas fares include luggage and food … although sometimes it’s only very small. And the fares on Qantas are often quite a bit more than Virgin. 🤷♂️
Fair enough ... but this year, I've had to cancel so many trips because of border restrictions etc so I decided to treat myself. Plus I really wanted to try the E190 in business. :)
@@FromtheWindowSeat I'm an elderly Aussie who has flown widely in Asia and Australia and never had anything but an economy seat except once when I got unexpectedly upgraded to Business. Loved it, if I had the money to spare I'd probably spend it especially when I have a longer flight. No criticism of your choice, especially this year!
Nice mate! I can't wait to visit Tassie next month! 🥳 And yes how cool are the aviation themed rooms there!

Tassie is definitely on my plans for 2022. Enjoyed the video! Great job!😄
Thank you. Love Tassie. I highly recommend a day trip to Bruny Island. It’s a bit like a miniature Kangaroo Island. Lots of delicious food to taste! 😋
Food selection looks pretty impressive to be honest, a win win i reckon👍., awesome flight review of this E-190 jet🛫. Am watching from New Zealand
Thanks! 👍
Very informative , professionally done TR , thanks I enjoyed it immensely
Thank you so much!
Hi Adam thank you for the video enjoyed it. Good to see people back in the airports once again.
Thank you Maureen. Glad you liked it.
Fantastic video.
Loved the bonus crutch shot
Ha! Thanks (I think). 😝
Very informative. Loved this tripreport.
Thank you - appreciate that! :)
You're lucky, when I landed in Hobart a few years ago and was taking few pics of the aircraft and terminal I was told off by security!
That sucks! Yes, I've heard a few people have had similar problems.
Great video :)
05:58 As a Melbournian, I was kind of surprised to see a Skybus in Adelaide.
Can't wait to try out one of the E190's
Same here although it will be much better when they did the entertainment service it's a bit Spartan at present

Nice! 😊

It really does. Maybe they do! Ha!
Yeah - Adelaide Airport is quite nice. 😎
I remember Adelaide airport as a kid. There was no choice but to board/disembark via the tarmac. There was even a revolving door into the terminal!

“Cutter”! LOL 😂
To be honest, I've heard it pronounced a lot of different ways! Hard to find the correct one! :P
