Adine you are one brave lady to walk that distance alone without a radio as well. Please be safe. We need you here to take care of these lovely beings.💕🐘💕
It is comforting to know that the elephants will protect you from lions. I have even more respect for elephants. Adine can identify individual elephants from far away, that’s an amazing ability!
She certainly is brave, but she is also so used to this life and this wilderness, that it's natural for her, like the rangers/guides and carers, but it's not for everyone, for sure. :)
I admit I was a little worried there, but I knew you would find your way, and the guys. But maybe next time, could you please take radio, just in case! Love you Owen and George and Adine of course, and HERD!
Adine next time bring a bottle and call Khanyisa ... she will bring the herd to you :) Seriously though please don't go out that far alone .please . I would be so upset to hear you had been hurt
I LOVE HOW Adine communicates with the HERD just as she would any one of us. There is no species hierarchy, none better than the other, all creatures of earth. That makes it so special and so equalizing. She calls out the name of each one to greet with a Hey!, Hey! just like any other human if you will....... we are no better.... When you think of Zoos, Parks, etc. maybe not as much now, but definitely years ago, human being always took the upper spot over most creatures and it was wrong and look how we treated them?!?! In cages, etc. Here, NO CAGES, normal names, life, friends, family, saying HEY HOW ARE YA TODAY LIMPOPO... with no arrogance of man at all, if anything, the Elephants are treated as a level HIGHER which I am sure, many agree with... you really don't see that much with wild animals, I LOVE THAT!
Thank you for taking us on your walk. It is so beautiful there. I was scared for you being alone and you seeing lion tracks. I know you are experienced in the bush but I am glad you found your ellies and humans. Thank you Adine for another wonderful video.❤❤🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤❤
did you guys know elephants say a lot of stuff we cant even hear with a naked human ear. it is so low that you have to play the recordings back at 5 times the speed to begin to hear anything from their lower register of speaking to each other.
Okay I had to fast forward to make sure Adine wasn't eaten by the lions or bitten by a snake as she wonders through the bush, alone.. Maybe Adine is packing a weapon... Oh goodness..

Well yeah there is, cause in this video Adine showed us lion tracks and spoke of vultures. Of course the wildlife that lives there hear and smell the humans way before they get a glimpse of the wildlife. They are sure to either conceal themselves or just leave the area when we humans are around.
@@jaycuzman625 -- We have Turkey Vultures in my area, as large as Ospreys (which are fishing birds). My guess is they are sometimes mistaken for eagles (which are large and also fish). You could have run into them or the snake. I do have a question for you; do elephants have blood types? I've seen you collect blood from two different elephants. Just wondered if you had to match blood type.
The only thing that kept my fear for Adine ( alone + no radio + lion footprints ) at bay was this " We see the video so Adine made it safe " . The snake tracks were quite big!!! Beautiful walk. Thank you Adine

That was really scary. My heart was pounding. Glad you are safe Adine. Please please do not do this again. We love you and need you.
Great walk Adine of adventure and the unknown!?🙆
The only thing that kept my fear for Adine ( alone + no radio + lion footprints ) at bay was this " We see the video so Adine made it safe " . The snake tracks were quite big!!! Beautiful walk. Thank you Adine
What a beautiful place
Absolutely 💚
Adine is one amazing lady!!! And a track reader to boot!!!! Loved it!!!!💖💖💖 (with CC on *Sebakwe * became *the parkway* and *Somopane* became " summer pony*😄😄)
I guess I have added her to my long distance family, I got a little bit freaked out! The only thing that comforted me is Adine is one experienced, and smart women. Wow! She is awesome. I have never been so glad to see elephants in my whole life. 😁❣️Thanks for letting me have an adventure, between tutoring sessions. Wow!!!!
What do you do to protect yourself?
