He is speaking out of my soul. Simplicity, perfect sound and ease of use with directly seeing what you can do/are doing. That’s what a amp should be like. I played a tube Twin often in much earlier years, but…. for the normal use it was way too loud, too heavy and you have to take very good care to such a relatively fragile amp. So, but now the time has come and I will buy the TM Twin for me. 👍

It’s funny I know guys who have NEVER played a regular Twin Reverb but have said these don’t sound like a Twin Reverb. I’d guarantee that from what I know of their concert experiences they have not seen one being used live either. But yea, those new ones are a joke! Well I have and they have a Tone Master Deluxe I tried in Ocala, and it sounds fantastic. It’s not a Katana, or a Mustang, at all. I would love to have that Deluxe I played and save a little bit, but I just couldn’t use the volume. But I’ll bet you a bean burrito that you would really like it if you could try it.

I am thinking about getting one of these because, as you say, it's great to have a backup. I'm actually getting so into space echo reverb right now, it's the only reverb i want to use lately but there is nothing like that TWANK sound one gets from an old Fender reverb, it's a classic sound also and can be pretty creamy dreamy.

I got mine from Guitar Center 5-days before they announced bankruptcy protection.
Since, I finally had the time to reconfigure my VOX VT30 guts into a more user friendly front-faced control ‘head unit’ and now pump it through an 8-Ohm 15” cab with NO PEDALS but the VOX’s, the Fender’s, and an A-B-Y switch.
    I’m amped-up-happy for life, now (I think).

Lol...if you have the captions on, when Richie starts playing at 10:20, the captions literally say “guitar shredding.” That’s so funny to me!

I should buy another one RKTelecaster, just in case Fender decides one day to stop building them... I bought one not only because I am a fan, but because of the neck size and profile. This is a God send. The guitar is fantastic, Richie is a pure Genius in writing, singing and playing, but also in designing gear !!! who could Believe a true rock machine like this could alsol be so subtle and sweet ! this is my main guitar, the only one I kept after selling my PRS and Music Mans.

I am renting a TM twin and was loving it and about to buy it until tonight when I did some recording. I ABed the xlr out to an SM 57 and the XLR is muddy sounding and nothing like the 57 it is barley usable, also there is no real difference between position 1 and 2 on the IR switch. Do I have a malfunctioning unit, or did you or anyone here have similar experience or an idea of how to fix this?
and Fender - Please make a 12 pound Tonemaster Princeton 65 reverb with - That would be amazing!!!

Have anyone tried a Rat or other higher gain distortion pedal in front of these? I'm really curious how this will fare as a pedal platform for drive pedals.

The Tone Master Series amps sound stiff AF, but the weight... man... perfect. Nothing beats them for the road.

Finally they used DSP technology to not copy a processed sound, but to process sound signal coming raw from a guitar and being processed to a certain topology. Clever afterall.

I have a Line6 Helix, it's an impressive tool but RK is right when he says that these digital devices have too many details that can be modified so that sometimes (I mean, VERY often) it's very difficult to understand how to deal with the tones..I hope that the decision to employ the DSP for very few things will keep more space to improve the overal tone.I'd rather prefer to have ONE amplifier to do ONE thing in the best possible way than 300 at an average level

@@dariocrocetta9026 it's a matter of time until they release a bassman and a super reverb. Just depends on overall reception by the public.
