Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple or Madurai Meenakshi Devi Temple is one of the most popular Hindu pilgrimage sites in India. Meenakshi Devi temple is in the heart of Madurai City in Tamilnadu.
Temple is well connected by road, rail and air. Frequent buses run between Madurai Junction Railway Station to Temple and also Madurai Airport to Temple.

Dear Viewers
Few points that I missed mentioning in the vlog
1. Temple Timings- 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM and then 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
2. Temple is open on all days free and paid darshan is available.
3. You can analyse the crowd and go for paid darshan if needed. Paid darshan tickets needs to be taken from inside the temple. Charges are Rs 50/- per head for Meenakshi Devi Darshan and Rs 100/- for Meenakshi Devi and Sundreshwar Swami darshan. We visited on a weekend and opted for the Rs 100/ paid darshan. Darshan took us around 2 hours.
